  • Here I’m having a conversation with a better player regarding the ability to “hold the corner” or sustain concentric arcs coming out of impact with the longer golf clubs. We need the right elbow, the butt of the club, and the club head to orbit around the body at the same rate. This is more challenging as the club gets longer. This gets into the concept of the left wrist “radius lock” and also what I’d call the “figure skater effect”. I’d also consider this training in the hands and arms a counter balance to what’s going on with the body movements.
