Overstimulated with “in-swing” thinking? Try this.
The golf swing is 1.5 seconds. How many thoughts can you hope to cling to in these 1.5 second windows? What if you could let all your swing thoughts go and swing from your ❤️ instead of your 🧠. The brain is useful in golf too but it needs to be quieting down when it’s time to swing. The brain is used more in the pre-shot decision making process. Once it’s time to swing, trust your heart and your gut.

“Holding the Corner” with the longer clubs
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.Год назад
Here I’m having a conversation with a better player regarding the ability to “hold the corner” or sustain concentric arcs coming out of impact with the longer golf clubs. We need the right elbow, the butt of the club, and the club head to orbit around the body at the same rate. This is more challenging as the club gets longer. This gets into the concept of the left wrist “radius lock” and also ...

Great analysis
All your tips make perfect sense, can you do a video on setup? Maybe even explore the closed feet open shoulders setup especifically. Great video, cheers.
First modern power swing and golfer
The first modern power swing
Great stuff man! You make very high quality content please do more youtube
Great tips. I will definitely follow your advice
Trust me, I need to think a little more! But point well taken....plan, setup, swing (fast, before I start thinking again). Good lesson, frfr
One of the best pivots in golf e 3:16 ver. The youth on tour and college kids , and high school must learn to pivot like Nicklaus. That is the key to his dominance. The PIVOT. !!!
Gareth bale!😂
I've been struggling for a year with my swing and decided to go back to a more upright swing like Jack's and I'm flushing it again!!!! He knew what he was doing!
There will never be another. So iconic.
Give this man the equipment of today?…..Jack as you can see here held nothing back. Power, finesse, read greens with a touch like no one else. Nice music, great video uploader. Was hoping to see a still of Jack with putter raised up for that iconic Masters birdie, but oh well. “Yes sir”! I enjoyed this montage.
Play some enjoying your instruction thinking of sitting in my swing maybe for some instruction how do I do that
Thank you for this video!
Fascinating video
He has like no hip turn thats crazy
nice music! teared up, no homo
G.O.A.T.
That is the best explanation of a release I have ever seen. I wish I could do just one of them. CRICKET what a golf inhibitor . Chicken wing no release golf killer for us in UK who played cricket at school...
Thank you for this explanation. Now I know how to properly get the club head on the outside of my hands during the downswing. The key was knowing WHEN to straighten the trail arm at P6
The greatest champion ever!!
The best
Great video! Do Nicklaus and the rest of the long hitters bend their left wrist? I've been going through a lot of Golfing Machine, when I watch Lynn Blake speaking of the flat left wrist I actually see an arched flat wrist... Pete Cowen speaks of wringing the towel, which, to me that is much closer to a proper flat left wrist... McIlroy also speaks of "wringing the towel"... What's your take?
Alex: would you be on my YT channel Big Boy Pants Golf and explain this Gankas methodology vs other golf swing methodologies?
Would love to thatd be fun
There have been better swings, but never a better performer. He could get in the heat and handle it.
Great video! Chest extension on the backswing to help shallow the club on the downswing.
Jack really throws everything at the ball. I love his swing. My body doesn't allow this kind of swing but I admire it. My swing (I've seen it on video) looks somewhere between Nick Price on a bad day, and a turtle losing his balance falling off a log.
Why it isn’t amazes me! It shows anything outside convention is white eyed
GOAT
2:40 at the top of your backswing YOUR SPINE IS LEANING towards the target >>>NOW tell me how you going to hit it towards the target?? >The truth is you can't >>YOU will back out of it and then go towards the target!
That’s a deeper discussion.. the spine floats because we have two legs.. cog transfers vary …this is a basic video
Yes you're correct its a tilt
I know this is 4 years old but what you said perfectly describes my steep motions (lack of extension at the top) and throwing the right wrist and right elbow too early). Very simple and logical description of causes and fixes instead of some of lessons that seem to teach more manipulations some of us struggle with. I am not very flexible and have struggled with a flying right elbow and steepness since forever. I am anxious to try out what you prescribed and think it may be a much easier solution to some of my issues than some of the other things I’ve read and watched. TY
Love it. The music is amazing.
👍
At 0:40 you can see why his setup was the key - a view not much seen on videos of him. The shaft angle lines up perfectly to his spine angle. Then its just a matter of taking it back and returning to that spine and shaft position. It is why he could swing so hard and not miss a beat in accuracy. You can freeze it at 0:49 to see it matches the address angle.
Poetry in motion. I'll bet a number of today's tour players have never really seen his swing like this.
That is the best explanation I have ever heard about different swing patterns of golf swing rotations. Thanks
Great video…arms turning with the swing beautiful fluid motion!!!
Nice explanation 👍🏻
The most graceful and powerful swing that golf ever had.
Graceful? 🤣
@@mudddge look at the footwork and balance
It's hard to disagree with you. Arnold Palmer, in Jacks presence said "Jack is not that great, he's just on a lucky streak that has lasted 40 years". Both of them had a hearty laugh.
Unbelievable leverage. Jack was small by today's standards but longer than even the known big hitters of his day. An unparalleled master of the game.
Jack wasn’t great because of his swing. Just like Brady isn’t Brady because of his arm. It’s the stuff between the ears.
If he had used more lower body action and more foot work, he could have really made some accomplishments.😂😂
Well spoken and insightful!
The G.O.A.T.
Great advice and presentation
I saw him play at Memphis Open 1963. He was soooo long and swung so hard it is indelibly etched in my memory.
Give that man a sim 2 and a pro v1...
Super pumped on the breakdown from a 2nd team all American 😂
You aren’t permanent… it’s sad I know just try to do good 👍🏼
Tiger came close, but Jack's record of 18 majors is going stand for a long, long time. And I mean a LONG time.
Yes, the best players of today are already in their 30s and only have a few majors.
🐐 🐐🐐
Clutch putter.
