Chris Collinsworth, teamed with Al Michaels that night, made the greatest comment immediately after the play. "If you took Seattle's entire offensive line off the field, I would still trust Marshawn Lynch to get 1 yard".

yep. Actually kindve reminds me of Shottenheimer making a great chargers team lose by refusing to run Ladanian in the playoffs in 4th quarter even tho LT hadnt been stopped the entire game and was getting at least 5 yards every carry. Chargers shouldve won a superbowl with those teams but gd Shottenheimer(sp?) has to be the worst coah ive ever seen

Unlikely, but possible. The six time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots were coached by Bill Belichick, who also won two Super Bowl titles as defensive coordinator for the New York Giants. The Patriots were prepared with 8 defensive linemen and 3 DBs for a “jumbo” package. That’s a defense specifically prepared to stuff the run. And it’s not like Marshawn has never been stopped at the 1 yard line before. In the 2013 NFC CG, 49ers against Seahawks, Marshawn fumbled trying to punch it in from one yard out and the 49ers recovered. There was some atrocious officiating in that NFC CG as well, but that’s another story.
