Yes, ever NA hater that lives in NA are the loudest voices when they win a critical game. I'm one of them, its cause we get disappointed every year, and because we're so passionate it hurts. We say we get numb to NA sucking but we don't, we still feel sadness and anger.
But when they win, we scream with JOY and excitement.
Like it was 3am for me, and I woke my wife cause I was screaming on the top of my lungs "LETS FUCKING GO NA, LETS FUCKING GO" like I still have a smile on my face.

As an EU fan it was a deserved win for NRG.
3 NA players 1 Australian 1 Korean. After they beat C9 everybody said how they will get destroyed by every other teams at worlds.
They made it to top 8. This NRG squad shows that you don't need to spend millions on European/Asian players to perform on a high level.

If contractz wasn't giga carrying, I'd wish Palafox got some more love. 5/3/25, every pop blossom landed, every wall perfectly placed. Man had one death overstepping and played basically flawless otherwise. That entire dragon pit fight was a beauty to watch.
His target selection on Neeko that game was crazy.

Honestly, this might be the first series where I can genuinely say that every player on a team shined. FBI had good positioning in most fights, Ignar was clutch on TK and Rakan is his bread and butter, Big Dhoks was giga smurfing top, even with all of the pressure they threw his way, Palafox was crazy in both games, but yes, Contracts made all this much easier by making Yike look like a bronze player.
literally the whole team was so on point. contractz deserved pog, but the entire team really shined in both games.
@@Ninguin yeah this was a great game to watch rooting for them because they all just played on their A game. a lot of clean awareness to counter what plays g2 did make bot and top, and then some really great team play to steal away fights with solid coordination and planning. game two especially, it was great to see that even with an ostensible draft gap, they knew what they were playing and their synergies and ran away with so much.
I'm a diehard G2 fan, but holy shit NRG deserved this win. G2 played like they had no hands, it was embarrasing to watch. GG WP NA
They played normally. It's just that since NRG's skill is so much higher, you can clearly see that G2 just isn't that competitive.

@@coochmcgooch420 nrg is like c9 of old. they just play a consistent game, they play well together and you have to be precise to beat them. their players individually arent crazy but they just play fucking well. complete opposite of c9 where if blaber or berserker cant 1v9 they just lose

Contractz was the best in the day but.. the ENTIRE Nrg roster deserves a LOT of respect and credit. They all played so well and remember, this is a team that was constantly ridiculed. They really proved everyone wrong. Definitely the pride of NA.

Last year i became a clg fan, i just loved how they were the only western team that played actively, and i thought to myself "one day they will improve and i'll cash in". One year later they are beating g2. Let's go
same! I actually started watching LCS because of CLG Summer 2022. They were just so fun and played interesting stuff. Then they kept the core team together into this summer... The improvement has been crazy. They just keep getting better, even though they are constantly underestimated. So happy for them.

G2 played sloppy, but NRG also prepped well, and every individual player played the best series of their life this day. Tragic for G2, and fucking incredible for NRG, really clean.

G2 definitely underestimated NRG this series, and the interview by dhokla after saying they lost like. Every scrim probably shows why g2 thought they could just roll them over. But they HARD gapped g2 this series, and easily played one of the cleanest series internationally by an NA team. Even if g2 underperformed this was a well deserved, well earned win and im very proud of the boys. But i will keep my expectations at a negative. Because NRG is a team that ALWAYS ALWAYS played like gods when nobody believes they have a real shot, but soon as their fanbase comes alive thats when they start the clown fiestas. 🤡 i shall reverse psychology them for quarterfinals.
G2's arrogance cost them quarters. Case closed. Props to NRG for exposing this weakness, which was apparent even in summer/spring LEC.
So glad contractz never gave up. Was awesome the first time he ever played in LCS years ago and he kept getting missed out on by teams but finally he is back

honestly its great to see an upset thats just like, solid, clean, uncontestable win. they showed up and seriously outperformed without needing to do anything crazy. honestly i feel like early mindset turned it, nrg came to play their hardest, with good prep and a clear plan. g2's plan was to win early and dominate, and they fell apart after their early game game one got foiled. even with game two mild draft gap, nrg just clearly had a stronger plan and synergy, as shown in the hard fights they won. i think even if they don't go further you gotta give em respect. they won outright, clearly and convincingly, simply beating g2 on their own timing and gameplan.
