you really milked a topic that has been done a million times already while adding no substance to it, this video could have been 2 years old i wouldn't have noticed
@@ismbks Yeah, but I wouldn't have watched a video like this 2 years ago.
@@therealdevcat make some sense brother
You get my Like cause of the warning at the start. You get it. Thank you for that. For real.
The nerfs for sion were affectionately called The Baus nerfs. How one person can influence a champ so hard that they need a nerf is a show of thebaus skill
It's common to see things like this happen when someone makes a difference so big.
It was like like watching nba implement the 3 seconds zone cause shaq was unbeatable there.
Sad that one is appraised for being the change, and the other is being constantly flamed by that
They’ve repeatedly nerf his replacement champs like galio when he did this same strat with ap galio
Well the sion taking towers in zombie form was broken for anyone who okayed it
@@jackspinner4727 it's literally his passive, if you don't die as Sion then you are playing without passive and put you as disadvantage to other champion.
But guess what, Sion got nerfed to the ground now and everthing about his playstyle
@@huyhoang7819 I dunno he seems fine full tank. He is a tank. Not a tower taking monster. They nerfed the awful playstle. He’s in a fine spot as a tank his intended role
WP to this Sion he played safe during laning phase, minimized deaths and yea he let some cs go but now hes scaled and is working with his team to win the game! Well played to this Sion
😭
Litteraly impossible
💀
the first players to adopt this playstyle were yasuo mains never forget 0/10
And they always scale so good late game. 1 bad fight and the trashcan Yasuo suddenly got penta after a combo. It's annoying. I've fought some inting sions in silver too and I do think Sion is really really annoying. The nerf is deserved 😂
How about you calm down and sttop lying kid?? 🤓😡
@@mubaraksenju7521ok sounds like someeone mad 🤓😡 skil isssie must be....
@@scoper7897 nah that's just classic how yasuo works, mainly cause of the double crit chance passive. He's basically like a typical botlane adc but hits their powerspike an item earlier in exchange for losing range, but with the tools to limit the disadvantage of being melee and survivability to be in the middle of a fight
@@Zeequals its not. Kidddddd L ratio
Like him or not, he's playstyle is undeniably working
yeah, thats pretty true
yeah thats true
@@purei8775 yeah, thats true

that is so true dude
You know you f'ed up when Faker starts the sur vote
Then get banned right after
I think another big part of his success is his personality, he has always been very humble and very entertaining and this along side with his playstyle legit made him the biggest League content creater to date and every League player knows his Sion
wtf has that to do with him winning games
Biggest? I don’t think so
@@iPownYouN00Bdid he said anything about winning the game?
@@iPownYouN00B his success as a youtuber, not as a player
Also he can be seen enjoying the game which is more than you could say for most.
For me the main reason is it works for him and not the average low elo player, is because he has a higher chance of a cashing in on those bounties he builds up. When a lower skill player falls behind it is basically game over, but Baus CONSISTENTLY outplays his opponent once or twice to cash in on the bounty system.
It's not even about outplaying it's literally about understanding wave times and making sure your opponent with a lead is stuck in lane with a higher vold advantage, there's such thing as getting bad kills in top lane, like if you kill someone but the wave is crashed under your turret and your 1 hp your kinda fucked cuz your gonna lose more than your opponent xp wise Sotheby's stats from a level outweighs the gold value of a kill
@@KLBloodShot yeah true i’ve def had games where i kill lvl 1 as darius and then they tp back and i’m just completely fucked
yea, he is actually pretty crazy mechanically
Until he fed a Darius or Olaf
@@Lunaire2103 there’s multiple videos of him beating darius and olaf players
The game isn't about mechanical outplays, it's about crashing your army into the enemy structures until the Nexus is destroyed.
so you say: The game isn't about mechanical outplays, it's about mechanical outplays.
@@Em4il I think he's more saying "It's not about mechanical outplays, its about destroying the enemy towers, inhibs, and nexus, and mechanical outplays is just one of the main methods used to reach this outcome". If your method, however weird or crazy it might be (Inting Sion, Pacifist Tryndamere, etc.) destroys the enemy nexus, you are playing the game correctly, even if the method isn't standard. The only real negative impact is the effect it has on your team mates game play.
@@Em4il its about objectives
you can have full skill but if you cannot reach the enemy nexus you're useless while a player who can reach nexus is broken
@@prismriot4910Hackers: *smiles in DDOS
That Korea trip was the perfect storm for the bauss. His average viewership went up like 5-10k and never went back. Sion was strong and prowlers claw was goood
I literally saw the thumbnail and was like oh yeah thats a Baus video xD
The one thing I love about Baus is that he presents his thesis about why K/D/A isn't everything in a game WITH PROOF OF IT, and yet people STILL CRY when a bad K/D/A player is trying to play aggresive to make a comeback while the "good K/D/A" players are being petty and cowards, conforming with saving their stats even though it's going to cost them the game.
True. I'd rather play with a feeder but still tries to win than someone just padding his score and only just farming all game
well that's true but, I still prefer if you losing then you should play defensively instead, being "aggresive and making a comeback" is good and all, but you also have to remember not everyone are like pro players who can outplayed their enemies by pure skill and knowledge alone. Sometimes when you lose, you really are losing, level and gold, and the best decision you can make is to play defensively and wait for the oportunities with your team, being aggresive and keep bashing your head toward the enemy towers will not help you win, you just gonna make everything worse for you and your team.
Yeah, K/D/A isn't everything if you're playing Sion. AP Irelia on the other hand...
exept for the fact that most of them int with no objectives on the map instead of fliping it on a good spot
Thats it brotha, there is infinite re-spawns, this ain't real life boys. Move out the way and let the men fight.
This would work even more on Wild Rift considering the matchmaking is based on KDA, so he'll get better teammates that will profit from all the pressure he's making
That would explain why on some champions i get matched with level 150s on average whilst being 90 and on others with level 30s and below lol
I've seen people win in Wild Rift with inting Sion. Not even the correct Baus version. The turrets in that game are made of paper and there's one less turret so you can reach the Nexus way sooner.
Sion is S Tier in Wild Deift. AD or Tank, the Towers are paper in the mobile version.
They just remove hullbreaker from the game and sion isn't good anymore
@@Min_Ye_Linheart steel titanic has broke sion he’s only bad with bad players
really love these videos documenting the accomplishments and legends in the LoL scene, would be interesting to see one showcasing the legacy of Trick2g
good suggestion - thanks!
The fact that riot had to directly nerf baus talks alot about the playstyle he used
Nothing but respect for the man himself
I have mad respect for the guy. His approach is smart and analytical; he's actually thinking about how to exploit the mechanics of the game while your average player is stuck on a basic "kill good, death bad" mentality. Most of the hate I've seen him get comes from people who are unable to look past simple K/D gaming (not even going to put the A there, cause, let's be real, none of these people even look at assists) and assume that high deaths = bad play and that he must be getting carried or is putting his team at a disadvantage.
Besides, I personally think divergent playstyle like this make the game more interesting. It's just a shame that Riot doesn't agree, since any aberrant strategies that go against the "right" way to play the game always end up getting nerfed.
The only thing I would add is that baus dodging skills are insane, they are way above average high elo player and I would love to see a compilation. And also I havent play league in years but I always watch baus videos because they are so fun, I highly recommend him to anyone, with his playing style every game feels like a comeback game, very entertaining.
4:25 the tethering here is insane wtf.
don't watch the video yet but I think... SOLOBOLOOOOOO
Simon is so good at this playstyle that after his trip to Korea, pros started to try to do the same strategy causing sion to get repeatedly nerfed until Simon started to say Sion is a shit champion
You forgot to mention Oneshot Galio, and he recently picked Nidalee and then Vex, after letality Lee Sin (although I doubt he will play much Vex)
Very good viedo, however I wanted to ask. Will you ever do more guides? I really enjoyed the jungle guides and watched them the most out of your channel, they were very helpfull.
I had never heard of this guy before watching this video now I watch him all the time very very interesting player thanks for the video bro nice job
then riot tried to stop this menace by nerfing everything from his champions to his builds but he still manages to find alternative ways to climb
I don't get people who are mad at this kind of play, it's refreshing to see ridiculous stuff. In your low elo games trust me, enough griefers with boring mainstream strategies that will still fuck your time, so don't pretend it's the inting sions keeping you stuck.
its really dumb to get mad at playstyles. I mean adc support wasnt a thing till a team came up with it. Probably also people said buuuh thats dumb.
What a great video. I’m very impressed. Good job
Dude's literally built different. His brain prioritizes things we can't even fathom because that risk/reward is too much. You can't 0/10 because your team and you can't solo carry because you don't know what would be going through HIS mind. This is why people play league, have mains, and eventually carve out their own style
i think its because majority of players are scared to go 0/10 even tho they do it accidentally, no like baus he does it with purpose to get ahead of the enemy team
@@minamotonoyoshitsune6081 Bro is "Calculated" incarnate
It isn't *that* difficult, just think in terms of map pressure over everything else and you'll get the playstyle. Usually means you've gotta play something that can gobble up the map, and punish opponents for ganking you (waste their time, waste their hp/mana/resources etc).
Great video myth!
tears of joy for this man.
Baus didn’t invent inting sion it existed since before plates where people would just run into the tower and hit it. His play style was different because he wasn’t just running into towers on cooldown and it ended up coopting the name
This was very great 😊
Baus is a legend. Shame on riot for always trying to control how people should play the game. Annoying beyond belief.
That's literally their job. They can't let any one champion or play style dominate the game or it will get repetitive
4:26 is hilarious lol
I think he tries baiting out the Q the first 2 stutter steps, but yeah, wild spacing
Keep in mind baus was so good they target nerfed HIM, NOT THE CHAMP PER SE
You get my Like cause of the warning at the start. You get it. Thank you for that. For real.
trying to save everyone's LP lol
the bausff made me get from gold 5 to gold 1 in 1 season and finding this super champ to play in diferent scenarios.
Thebausffs is the one who made me go from bronce to gold without even playing more than 10 games in a week, if i take it seriusly i would be near to diamond in a year
My man gave honor to Faker in Korea 💀. (In case you didn't know, in KR players give honor only to the griefers and trolls so that people can identify them)
That does not make sense to me, can you explain me when and why this started?
@gathor_Korea is just different. it's a culture thing there
@@eijitoh6252 But like why? when did it start. I have never heard about that before from any KR player that I know.
@@gathor_ it's mostly bs blown up by Reddit. Not an actual thing. All challenger players for the most part know each other by ID in any region
wrong, it used to be that way because of the "best enemy" ribbon a long time ago. Riot removed it as toxic KR soloQ players used it to mark griefers/weaker players indicating enemy team to pressure on that specific player
This tradition is long gone
Bossin on the rift, thats my guy right there, big respect
Love this video, and even as a Baus supporter, I still find it refreshing to watch. One thing that makes him stand out to me is that he still seems to genuinely enjoy the game and treats it as something to look forward to, at least more often than other streamers. Another thing is that even though he's known as a Sion main, he's just as creative with other champions. His Quinn and Rammus are a masterclass of their own, and seeing him abuse mechanics that 99.9% of the playerbase aren't even aware of is always a treat (RIP book build).
Also warmly waiting for part 2 of the old League video!
this is gonna sound unhinged but does anyone here remember a casting call when aphelios first came out where LS shouted "how many years" after a blue gun aph ult?
Your videos are very high quality keep going
Do a Yasuo video and perhaps on Pz Zang. We Yas mains gotta know what he does or how he carries in solo queue on a pick with so many conditions and mostly team reliant.
well firstly
don't feed
I mean this man is unreal intelligent, and understand the game in different way like is behond imagination.
I mean too he really love the game too
He is having so much fun :DDD
I love Baus, it brings me back to before there was a meta
I put respect to baus the moment he singlehandedly manage to nerf sion by hitting challenger in the korean server
such a goated vid brotehr keep it up
thanks for the support!
I remember back in 2018-2019 starting league after playing dota and hots and loving sion, interestingly enough full AD sion was top back then as well and thats all i did an it made me fall in love with league.
bring back old duskblade build though that shit was goated asf
4:39 better korea trip
the go 0/16 at your own discretion had me dying
Druid Droid pioneered this style way back in season 3 or 4, but baus perfected it
bros so good he got his own law like a physicist 😂
When you said AD scion my response was 'yes, that's how he's supposed to be played.' His entire kit before the rework was about him getting a stun and then melee people to death. It was just a coincidence that some skills had AP.
It's just the fundamentals and math of league laning phase, brought to absolute maximum. Knowing death timers, how long waves take to reach your tower. Putting the enemy into a position where they have two bad choices.
Realizing that dying is not losing, it's just a trade. You can trade your 300 gold to the enemy, while taking 2 waves, over half of their HP, causing them to lose a wave, and then having tempo advantage when coming back to lane. Which enables you to take a plate or two, and deny one more wave from the enemy by crashing it into the tower. That way, you gained hundreds more gold, the enemy is closer to having a shut down bounty on them, and you get to lane stronger than they do.
For ever will be a legend for creating the Baus special 😎😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍
Baus used to do Sion adc with bard support before doing inting sion
i just enjoy the fact that this kid is having fun
a rare sight
Me, before clicking: Gotta be bauffs, right?
The passive definitely lasts longer than it should
another thing about his skill is his movement is extremely good, he side step and kite everything, that is one of the stuff that normal player are unable to mimic
proxy singed with zzrot portal and banner was insane too
You should have mentioned his Ap Irelia. That was truely something.
As a Swede, I usually get annoyed at a very common dialect that gets formed infamously called "Svengelska", which is a mix of English and Swedish.
But with the Baus, I honestly find it very charming. I like the Baus, he's a cool kid
My hero...
online culture moves so fast now that bausffs is some past figure that needs a history lesson
10:17 He deserves his flowers, you love to see it
i love baus so much bro
Good video, but WAY too many ads. Impossible to have to video run in the background while listening, as double-ads come every few minutes. Some of them being multiple minutes long if not manually skipped.
had a scion play like this on the enemy team, they almost won. we had to keep him on perma gray screen
Baus gave Ruler the feeling the we have in low elo getting carried in promos lol
Was bausffs the one who made intting sion? I thought it was tilt who made it?
if it's true, then like most of the things in the world either some form of methods or technologies, the first who found it wouldn't get enough credit for their effort if their idea or inventions didn't get enought publications/spotlight. Just like Konrad Zuse who built the first fully functional computer but all credit goes to Alan turing (btw computer who built by turing wasn't better than zuse also almost all algorithms that used by turing was invented by polish mathematician & cryptographers).
The best Baus games are when they ban Sion and he just rolls them with a different champion anyways. He’s actually just an insane player lol.
Like him or hate him. They have to target nerf any champ he uses for abusing this strat. And most games he ends with a large gold lead while being 5/15
The bausff is a pro, he understand the game like no one does 😎😎😎👍👍👍👍
I can respect the skill and work he put into perfecting his style, as well as his success with it.
I do not respect Riot for keeping it in the game for as long as they did.
Wait, are you not supposed to play in your lane and push with every wave if you're unopposed and just farm minions or poke thing?
I have always found it interesting how a player most known for playing a tank champion basically only plays Assasins: Quinn, Lethality Sion, Ap Gragas, Ap Irelia, Lethality Lee Sin, Lethality Sett...
Basically the only exception to that is Rammus, but i would bet he plays Rammus because rammus can assasinate every attackspeed ADC.
dont forget abt ap jax
"his steam caught on pretty fast due to this antics"
*shows Thebausffs twerking*
det är nästan äckligt hur smart baus är
The Messi of League of course
Is not even close to Messi
@@3735993 Right, bad comparison. Messi can't come close to Baus' level at the end of the day.
So may we expect a video of KC Bo soon?
1:33 hey that's me in the comment section
Lol
He helped me find my true champion and clima whit it, but sadly ended nerfed a lot of times
Good because it was aids
Riot did the same thing to my Tankmo build when they removed Malady. Riot MsPudding saw my forum post about it and started using it in her livestreams. After her coworkers saw it, my core item malady was removed the next patch. Tankmo has never been the same ever since.
I was the first one to innovate and make a competitively viable Tankmo build. I have a video or 2 of it on my RUclips channel. But once Riot saw it, immediately removed from the game, just like with inting Sion. Riot enforces their meta and hates it when people innovate in a way that they perceive as “anti-fun”.
That play style needed nerfing hard. You say its cause at the 11% peak people were just running it down the lane without understanding the choices he was making and you're right. But the difference is before the nerf that was still WINNING way more games than it was losing. Sions win rate was over 57%, Even when playing the style braindead! I was playing in high gold-low plat when it was happening. It was broken as fuck. Inting Sion put your team on a timer. Even going 1-12 the sion usually needed more than 1 person to address him in the side lane and even then would take down a tower almost guaranteed, because you had to use your CC and skills during the fight with him. There was also no damage reduction for turrets back then when no minoins were around, so he didnt need a wave either. He could just show up whenever
such a humble god
I never knew babus has a cake till this vid
Inting sion was a thing long before 2023 i can remember people doing it before turrets got plates
In botlane i like to create a bounty on the supp or the adc (better be on the supp) and take it when it reach 400+ and finish the game (before this i roam to give gold to my mates, for only the supp/adc has a bounty).
Only some adc can do it.
SION IS JUST SIMON WITHOUT A ‘M’. GO FIGURE!
The performance *fist pump
My goat of all time
Here in Brazil, we call it "suicide Sion"
3:31 canna : is this guy a god?
The reason his playstyle works is that 1. he plays a lot, 2. people struggle to deal with it, since it's so unusual and they have a hard time adapting to it, even after many times, since he is basically the only one doing it and 3. he has decent game understanding and especially good understanding of when he can best make strategic use of inting.
Bro Baus is an extremely good player, watch him on gragas I think that’s his best champ tbh.
bro is like those op main characters from korean manhwa
giving less gold when you have a lot of deaths is also part of the bounty system. It's explained on leaguepedia. There are these so called bounty tiers. You start at 0 and when you get more kills and gold from minions your tier goes up and when you die, your tier goes down. If you die enough number of times then your tier becomes a negative number and you give less gold for a kill and assist as a result
