Happy for all the NRG players. They defied the odds and won it all. After the 3-0 stomp by C9 in the upper bracket finals nobody expected NRG to win this match but they really did it. Congrats to all of them but especially Contractz, after watching his player spotlight video with his mom, I’m so happy he’s doing well and winning.
as happy as I am for them to win, C9 lost this series much more than they won it. Not exactly an exciting win when you think about how this’ll work at worlds

Not to take away from nrg, full props to them, it's just obvious from the series that synergy is at an all time low for it being finals and there is no proactive gameplay. Another steamroll international.

I didn’t realize how happy I was for NRG until that final push. I was over the moon when they won. So stoked for this team.

C9 losing finals is probably the best thing for them tbh. It's about time they get punished for their bullshit all year, the one series Berserker's back isn't strong enough and they all crumble. Hopefully they rebuild their gameplan and realize a new way to be successful that's not just winning NA. Congrats to NRG they're the best representative for what LCS has meant over the year, grinded their asses off.
Emenes is not staying on C9 next year but knowing Jack he's gonna shop him around and return on the investment so...

Really happy for NRG and all the players and staff they 100% deserved this but i’m also really glad C9 lost. It honestly just felt like for so long they weren’t getting any better it was only that the other teams just haven’t caught up to them yet but NRG finally did. Now they’re gonna get 6-0’d out of worlds again.

I dont watch lcs but seeing dhokla and contratz going from very below average teams(other than c9) to champions is pretty hype. They should be proud. Shame for berzerker though. Played out of his mind from the start of the season till the end. Huge respect.

Idk how you can be negative about this, it's easily the most satisfying finals result in years. Dhokes, Palafaker, Contractz and Iggy, all fan favorite journeymen who got titles despite the odds. This is the LCS' equivalent to the Giants beating the Patriots, it's a beautiful thing
and because the other team was cocky af as if they got the game all figured out even though berserker carried them for multiple splits - zven should have stuck with Lulu rather than pretending he's the best supp, generous serving of humble pie

I think it happened in the t1 game as well. Draven was strong but gets shutdown soooo hard by jax counter strike. So if you don't crush them in 15 to 20 its kind of over.

I'm not sure that would be the best idea. Many great adcs get lost in mid or bottom teams in the LCK. In NA he is the GOAT, in LCK or LPL he is one of many talented adcs.

@@hehexd5317 and FBI being from Australia ain't much, at this point anything counts if its not from KR/CN or maybe EU plus Oceania does not have a league as big as LCS so it seems far more normal for them to try to play in bigger leagues, really happy for LCS to prove how stupid taking imports is, same way here in EU, literally having G2 way above the rest while they have no imports and even the only split during spring that was won by MAD, they only had one import
I seriously hate imports and these s**ty orgs that dont help the talent, the league will really die along with soloq since many people play soloq at high levels hoping to play in pro league but they may just not try that much later on and focus on other things since they will see they can't make a living out of it since the orgs in their league will rather take some korean/chinese that can't even speak english, and at least in NA, u all speak English, even tho here in EU, a lot of us speak English, is still not perfect u know which makes our communication clearly not at the level of LCK and LPL which speak only one language and they make it even worse when they take imports
