I noticed this watch when it was released in Japan not long ago. Came so close to buying from Japan, but at this price point, I dont want alignment issues or loose end links. Im opting for a MarineMaster instead, as they put a little more care into those and it is a bit more iconic...still, gorgeous watch....especially that grey....

My MM300 SLA023 had the same loose end links unfortunately, plus the end links don't match the lug design , So I ended up fitting a StrapCode Engineer 2 bracelet to it 1 to fit the lugs better 2 to help with the top heavy case .
But it the end I sold it was the second time I'd had a MM300 but can't me going back again Brian

Enjoyed your review. Have the blue sumo on wrist now. Have had it for 3 weeks, gains 15sec a day, still waiting for my timegrapher, it's literally on a slow plane from China. Love the blue waves textured dial, stretched the personal finances to buy it, sucked in by the promises of super hardness of the ceremic insert. Best incarnation of the Sumo yet. Best bracelet, milled , looks and functions brilliantly. Very happy Seiko customer. 😁

Stunning watches and nice to see them outdoors where you get a better prospective of the colours. I own 2 of the gen 3 sumos, the hulk and the Pepsi PADI and love wearing these watches and will most certainly be purchasing the new one but which one ? King Sumo vs Sinn UX? Would love to read your thoughts.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  2 года назад +1

They're just so different Sir the UX is a quartz watch were as the Seiko is an automatic , The Sinn costs over double the price . The UX does wear smaller than the Seiko being it has a shorter lug to lug size and is built like a tank , The Seiko has some interesting colours and can look smart due to its polishing were as the Sinn is very much a tool watch and were other companies talk about hundreds of meters when it comes to water resistance Sinn talk about KM , Lots of people just wont spend 2K on a quartz watch which is a shame

It’s a good watch but at £1070 I’d like to see 8 beat per second movement and the screw in crown could feel smoother, Problem I see is Seiko just keeps pulling out watches so many watches maybe it would be better to hold back and sort out the QC more . I have recently acquired (June 2022) the Great Blue Hole which works with the older 6R15.
I am still amazed at how comfortable this case is sitting on the wrist and how well it hides its size.
Those MM200s also have hardened coating over the steel which they are saying would prevent most scratches.
I don't know about the steel, but the black bezel inset which is aluminum and has a resin coat will scratch.

I think I will approach the contributor's feelings now.
At the beginning of this year, I once reset all my collections by cutting them off.
So I was able to buy ORIENT's 60th anniversary temaki at Deadstock.
What I found out when I let go of it was that I liked it so much that I wanted to buy it back again. One of them was sumo.
Rather than getting the exact same thing back
      I'm curious about another version.
So I was most curious about 177 Dawn Grey.
Originally, the case shape, which is more modern than classical, includes the AR (inner surface) coating of glass, and the glittering ceramic bezel is considered the best combination. And it's not too flashy, it's not too loud, it's not too loud, it's the gradation of the dial, it's dawn, it's patterned, it's the color that makes you look like a Taupe color (or bronze or gray) with angle and light.
I liked the texture of the bracelet even though it was from the previous generation, but I'm also happy that it's improved.(In particular, the triple fold changed from milling cutter to mill clasp.).Sometimes it actually bends...)
      a dresswatch
      a pair of divers
(For fun, moon phase models, etc.)
For me now, I had other candidates for a diver's model.
      sbdc101.163.125.109
      and ORIENTSTAR's
      RK-AU0601B
It's classic and retro, and it's my preference, RK-AU0601B
      A modern-tasting sbdc177.
      Both are beautiful and chic.
I'm starting to get my mind fixed
I'd like to compare them again.
I used the old model once, so I love it.
      Either way, King Turtle
I'm thinking of buying sbdy063 lol
Of course, at that time, I think I will buy two bottles, either Smow or 1964 reproduction or King Turtle.
While watching the current Kingsmow video again
Looking back at my past posts and the contributors' replies, I felt like I wanted to tell them.
Sorry for the rambling and long sentences*

@@ClickSpringReview @Click Spring thank you for noticing my comment. Have you ever experienced a turtle or a monster bracelet? This sounds exactly the same.
First, although the links are solid, they are very rigid. They don't flow like a curtain, but like a metal chain on the wrist. I don't mean just how it wraps around your wrist, but also how it moves side to side. It's not comfortable, which I'm fine with, but not due this price. For example, zodiac watches make so much better bracelets for under $200 quartz watches, I think they should provide this level of quality.
Second, the end link on this should be 22mm, when you have a big watch case, and a tiny bracelet, the watch looks so much bigger, and looks clumsy on a strap or a NATO, do you put it back on the bracelet, which isn't comfortable.
Third, the clasp extension is pressed metal, I needn't anything else, which is again ok, if you are trying to present a vintage look, this isn't the case here, especially the milled clasp makes it even more out of place. And the lock for the clasp, usually tend to be shaky and flimsy, I think it's functional, but it's very thin, I never put my watches through enough, maybe someone else can comment on that.
Fourth, the the bracelet never matches the watch case color never, expect in Seiko pvd watches with a slight tinge.
So it's a watch that looks it's best on a bracelet, that is different in color, shaky and uncomfortable

I see where your coming from about the size of the bracelet but maybe they want to head of the watch to stand out after all it is known as the Sumo
I do find many Seiko’s are let down by there bracelets GS include and this is why companies like StrapCode do so well
