- Transgender transition is now forbidden in Russia on the legislative level. As well as human rights organisations, which care about LGBT people's rights are declared 'extremists.' The infringement of rights and building of a police state never seems to end in the modern-day federation. As well as what they did before in the USSR.

It would have been very useful for Russia if their invasion had fostered some sort of nationalist extremist opposition in Ukraine. Opposing extremists benefit from the same polarising acts. Even as they scream hatred at each other, they form a symbiosis, collaborating to polarise a moderate population into two shitpiles of extremism.
The fact that Ukraine’s mission is not simply the eradication of russcists, but is more profoundly about rejecting what Russia stands for and embracing EU membership, not only protects Ukraine from becoming like what they oppose. It may end up reinvigorating western democracy.

Multiple psychiatric and psychological studies have shown that those who hate gay people are usually ashamed of their own latent homosexuality, and that the constant concerning themselves with the sexual preferences of others is a reaction to this. Basically, homophobes are closet gays. I always tell them it is ok to be gay, but generally they don’t like it. Their feelings are confusing, I suppose.
