Top End Assembly On The 2.3 Turbo Thunderbird Engine

After getting the head assembled I finally can make a bunch of progress on assembling the top end of the engine. I get pretty far into it but I started identifying areas of concern that will need to be addressed. These are the sort of things that need to get figured out as the more non-original (high performance) parts that are used, the more things need to be altered to accommodate them.

That plate is the timing belt guide,there’s one on top behind the cam gear and one on the crank gear on the front

Hey dude do have the specs for the head am also putting my engine back together had the head ported I might put some arp studs but I still using the stock bolts because arp studs have come in mail yet

Its an He351. The header is from a guy named Randy Heinlein

Installing that oil drain hose is gonna be fun, also what Holset is that hx35?

I have no idea. But after doing a search on HX35 it sure kinda looks like that's what it is.

The engine is in the car, but my buddy has yet to get it running. Motivation through a UK winter is very low. I expect him to start making some progress soon as it's starting to warm up a bit.
