    Can the pimp adj the IAC signal via computer graph/screen? Great overhead eng bay camera shots📽️

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  2 месяца назад +2

      Using Tuner Studio The Pimp has an "Autotune" procedure for cold/Hot starts that can affect tuning for the IAC, and as well you can also manipulate the IAC settings manually in Tuner studio if desired.

    Waiting on head studs for mine...

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  2 года назад +2

      Good Luck!! I ordered mine in January, and they are still not here. Talked to Bo @ BoPort Racing and he said stock bolts can hold up to 20 psi, so Smokey has Mahle stock head bolts for now. Turbo Rustang has ARP Head Studs, ARP does not know when they will have re-stock.

    • @expels
      @expels 2 года назад +2

      @@builtbybo22 So I hear...supposedly they have been delivering shipments of them. I don't see what the hold up is. They've been backlogged since last September. They were supposed to have them done every month leading up to now. Rumors they may be delayed until August. We'll see.

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  2 года назад +2

      I talked to ARP in person in June, and they said they were back ordered on the material as well as the Dies for our thread pitch. They mentioned possibly August but prob longer. I'm trying to be Hopeful though!! LOL

    Hey Bo, Awesome video. Im currently building a 2.3 turbo for my 96 ford ranger. After looking up the Pimpx on stinger performance website it shows the pimpx is for 83-95 rangers. Would this still work on a 96 or would i have to find something else? Im completely lost when it comes to wiring.

      Hello, it’s best to contact Shannon @ Stinger Performance and ask for his assistance as he is the guru. Good luck on your build, it will be a fun package.

    Did you have to use any turbo coupe wiring or was it plug and Play with the stock mustang 2.3 N/A wiring?

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  2 года назад +2

      Stock Mustang wiring is used with the PIMPX (S) ECM, No Turbo Coupe wiring or Re-pinning is needed. It's a great setup!!

    What size intercooler piping did you use? Pump gas? Still using the distributor?

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  2 года назад +2

      2.5” intercooler piping on both cars, Running 16lbs boost on pump gas with this car, it has DIS & no problems. Running 27lbs boost with distributor on blue Turbo Rustang car on pump gas with Pro Meth setup coming in at about 12lbs with full spray by 25lbs and no issues.

    for the price of these things, they should be the ones installing the jumpers. jfc, for that much they should install the thing in your car themselves lmfao

    • @builtbybo22
      @builtbybo22  3 месяца назад +2

      I agree they are pricey, But other stand alone setups are more money, and don't retain factory wiring. The jumpers are left up to the user to install so it can be setup in the specific way of the build. Although it may seem overwhelming at first, It does get easier with a little playing.
