    You're gonna be choking the hell out of that new beautiful 363 engine with that Cobra intake.... 😢 You went all out on everything. To keep the Cobra intake is insane

      @@doublerrated6735 the cobra intake has been both ported and Extrude Honed. It’s arguably the best flowing Cobra intake I’ve ever seen. I have several other choke points that I’m trying to find the limits of, but the intake is not one of them.

    Congrats on the motor,looks amazing. It's exactly what I need but just can't afford that nice of a build yet. Hopefully someday and hopefully my stock block will live a while. What is your opinion on whp and stock block?? Where will it split??whp??

      Thanks. As far as a stock block surviving... it truly is a roll of the dice passing 500hp. Some are lucky and can eek a bit more out of theirs but you're just playing with matches at that point IMO. By the way, I turn 50 this year. It's taken me this long to be able to afford something like this. I'm definitely not well-off, especially working out of a two car garage. Builds take time. This started out as just a shortblock. Then since there was so much of a delay getting parts, it slowly led to me getting more money then adding parts from ZSR to make it a long block.

    I was going to ask if that was a fordstrokers engine before I saw your description. I considered zsr engines but the costs are so damn expensive.

      What I wanted for my turbo application just changed the build so much that regular components was just not going to work. When you step away from the mainstream the costs just start to get a bit out of control.

    Hope you aren't using that cobra intake? You definitely need a better flowing one like the rpm2 or systemax.

    • @Mike-FoxsAbroad
      @Mike-FoxsAbroad  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, the Cobra intake will be going on. It has been Extrude Honed. The car has already been 130mph in the 1/4 mile on the stock bottom end. If I feel it's causing me a severe restriction I can easily swap it out in the future. External engine parts are easy to replace. Getting this 363 in the car is important so I don't need to worry about the internals anymore.

      Sounds good. I like the video on you three when all were st the track together. I'd like to see more of that.

      @@RJ-zf7fw Us too. It's not like the USA where the track is easy to get to, cheap and is not very crowded on test and tune days. Going to the track is a commitment. We hope to make it at least three times this year, possibly four.

    Comp cams can cut you a custom cam and they aren’t an old a hole like the other guy. Only $40 more? Yea right
