This will stop the hood scoop seal from completely sealing and causes a restriction
The seal is thick enough to where it doesn’t. Hard to prove it causes a restriction without a dyno sheet. The car’s running fine.

New new this was an issue. Not sure what you are using the car for. But are you going to add a oil and/or CVT cooler. Have been reading that can overheat if you push it in overlanding in hot/high elevation or towing at it's max.
So far, the car is used only for daily driving to work and back. Definitely have considered the transmission cooler regardless of towing or not as the car will benefit from it.

Definitely a valid concern. I’d recommend putting some microfiber cloths around the area to catch the screws in case they do fall.
