Great videos...I'm thoroughly enjoying them. You can see the Crowfoot Glacier right at minute 7:54; it's in the extreme upper left hand corner, with two "toes" of the "crow's foot" extending to the right along ledges from the small main glacier. The third "toe" originally was the lowest of the toes, but has now melted so you can only see a stub. What looks like the majority of snow to the right is actually seasonal snow, and not a glacier, as that snow melts each summer. PS: I think a trip across the Trans Canada Highway would be fantastic--I'd envy anyone who could drive the entire length.

That’s great, thanks. We thought the snow was probably covering it. Such a beautiful drive!

wow this is so cool we did this Ice parkway 15 years ago, Bow lake I slipt into trying to get a photo, no ice but perfect reflection. Lake Peyto was so blue and no ice... We didn't see any bears which was on the list... Loved watching this video.

We would have loved to have seen the blue water, but apparently there would be hundreds of people there when the ice melts. Maybe next time!

Well… bears anyway. I could bear-ly make it through the whole thing! 😂

That black bear was looking for handouts. Probably has been fed by other people and now loosing its fear in favor of food. A shame really. Your videos are great! Icefields are my favorite road in all Canada. Have cycled it 4 times. Continue to enjoy. Sensory overload. I pedalled New Zealand in 2005-06, extremely fascinating land and people I met.

I had a feeling someone had just fed that bear for it to be sitting on the side of the road. Sad, for sure. Wow, that would be an amazing cycle ride on that road!

@@NomadLifeKiwi That ride (the 2nd one) started at the Prince Rupert Ferry in BC through Georgetown to Jasper then South on the Icefields to Montana and beyond to Maine. The bear count from Prince Rupert to Jasper was 31 and I slept in the woods for 3 nights on that route( younger days for sure.) BC and Alberta were the gems of the trip. Peyto lake is a Bahamas Turquoise blue that is totally amazing when there is no ice. FYI when I was riding in NZ. Kiwi English was foreign to me! I had to mime bad hearing and asked people to repeat slowly! It worked so on your videos I play at half speed and Jo comes in very clear to these old ear! She would be excellent doing tv and radio commercials! Tke Care, Safe Travels...
