    Believe it or not, but anchors generally work better under water.

      Catch Fishing Australia he is pulling the anchor chain at quite a low angle. The fact is it failed in hard compacted sand bottom. I think you do not understand anchor tests. Anchor tests are not meant to mimic perfect anchoring technique and bottoms. In perfect conditions and technique even all of the worst anchors would perform perfectly. You have clearly missed the point...

    So, don’t try and anchor on sand above the high water mark. Back in the real world, how about on liquified sand under water? I have one of these and my experience is that it is very good. I’m sure there are better but mine has always set and re-set when the tide turns.

      Good to hear I’m interested in buying INOX Delta 30kg for my 9m (30feet) sailboat to be sure :-)
