    Welcome to Bedrock Guide Season 3! This series is here to walk you through the game of Minecraft that exists on PC, Mobile devices (some still call MCPE), Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch. In this series it is my goal to help you make the most of your world, starting with the most basic of things in the game, through understanding redstone, game mechanics, and how to build/design your own farms!
    If you enjoy the series, you can show it by hitting the like button, and commenting on every episode! I will often ask you to give your tips, tricks, and advice in the comments, and I will frequently either use them myself in future episodes, or even display your comment in an episode as a tip of the day!

    Very nice, I need to redo my Guardian farm for that exact reason you mentioned, all those damn fish back up the entire hopper system. Plus once you have 12 double chests full of the crystal things to make the Lights, the rest can be lava'd. Also need to toss an Auto Crafter into the mix. Then I can just go and pick up the final blocks I want. Can't wait to see all the farm updates that come when the Auto Crafter drops in 1.21.

    I'm glad you went over the filter again, you made me realise where I messed up with my item filters thanks.

    Awesome setup. I need to redo the guardian farm storage on Eternia, and I may take this design into consideration for sure!

    I've done something similar with aligning items for my gold farm on BMC - and it uses hopper minecarts so it's super fast to pick up items - generally only need 1 slice per drop. Be cool to see something like that on your channel.
    Anyway this was cool to see and agree on seeing the pipes of items! You gotta be able to see all that profit pouring in!!

    Your set-up is incredible and awesome. I would love to do something like this, but I don't know what all I would need it for.

      My best luck si to do the red stone first then make it look good. Just remember y your building it most of my farms are cool but only a few are needed I love this channel because he explains how it works making it easy to change things

      Use them to power all your other crazy ideas. You need a TON of wheat, to make Hay Bales, to make a MASSIVE Hay Bale Barn to house your horses. Then you need carrots and gold farm to create golden carrots, cause you NEED to breed the fastest and highest jumping horse to fill a stable full of them. Beets... cause you need bonemeal, no one wants beets...

    Awesome as Always! Just a question, is there any lag efficient way for that little trick to get the item flowing in one side but being able to flow through the hopper by the other side or is it the only way

    When you put in the ceiling you should put observers and lamps so add things go through the system you get flashing lights everywhere. If something clogs just look for the area with no lights.

    Water sream is my favorite way to transport items. :)
    By the way, it is possible to have the water on the same side as the redstone, because comparator can read thourgh solide blocks, including ice.

    • @Prowl8413
      @Prowl8413  3 месяца назад

      True! But then all the redstone is 1 block thicker.

    I am looking to construct a very similar system and have a reasonable start on the dig/setup with multiple streams merging together throughout the build ... Curious as to the water/hopper setup --- so many other setups I've seen ( and expected to build) have the water running directly over the top hopper with it directed to the comparator and then down etc. etc. ... It looks as if your redstone is slightly different as well but should still be protected/blocked from the glass... Any explanation or advise?

    If you wanted to do a super cheaper way could you fill every slot in the chest with 1 item say carrots for the carrot part and then potentially you wouldn’t need all the red stone behind the hoppers?

  • @johncannon5788

    Why did you pick that particular item filter? I have been using one with the torch after the repeater and right next to the hopper. Wondering if the set up you used has advantages?

    Also I have a way to build a sub to Prowl diamond farm you basically make a lightning farm to spawn skeleton horses then you you wait for a diamond skeleton to spawn you kill it and it will drop it’s diamond helmet so you put it in a furnace smelting it into a diamond then drop it on a anvil naming it sub to Prowl

    How do you keep your transportation and sorting system from breaking when you're far enough away for the chunk to un-load? If the farm is automated and there's always stuff moving in the system, and you move far enough away from the system for the chunk to un-load, doesn't it "break" the system? I've had that issue with mine, where the water unloads and the the whole system gets messed up.

    Hey I wanna ask something
    In Java addition as low you go the more mobs spawn that's why all the Java players build all mob farm lower in a perimeter. Does this thing also happen in Bedrock addition that as low you make your mob farm the higher mobs will spawn? If yes does this thing work in all dimansion?
    And can we make a mob switch is end dimansion ?

    • @Prowl8413
      @Prowl8413  3 месяца назад

      Bedrock checks for spawning spaces from the top down actually, BUT, the way that Bedrock then applies those spawns doesn't actually give a benefit for the farm being made higher and higher. What it does mean though is in multi-layer mob farms, the higher up layers will be spawned on more frequently.

    Just wondering why you have to have the items flowing half on hoppers and half still in the water? Can't you just send the streams over the hoppers?

    • @Prowl8413
      @Prowl8413  3 месяца назад

      Ive seen many instances where the items will dip down into the hoppers and get stuck there.

    Aw man... I like your videos and I sometimes learn something, which is sooo cool, but in this one, ya kinda made me cringe a little. I seen that only a few different item types needed sorting and you had huge spaces between your storage areas and I was like...no...don't tell me he's going to make a bunch of sorters... I skipped ahead and ouch. Since ya have just a few items to sort, and chests in sections...ya know, you could have 1 central sorter for each section of the room, and that'd give you more space for storage since you don't need all that redstone. Spitting with a dropper with a comparitor and your observers facing each other to spit them out has another advantage. You can run the water streams directly over the hoppers so that even if your production gets out of control, guess what? Who cares? It just goes to the next hopper, and since we expanded your storage capacity....hey... Then do whatever you want for overflow, and yeah. I think that'd really be a better solution. :) I come in peace...I promise! LOL Just being honest. Love your videos. :)

      @user-ss6ww1hz1h 3 месяца назад +2

      Also, measuring your water streams to 5 blocks instead of 7 moves things around a lil faster and that'll help process the items a lil faster too... I hate giving criticism...you make awesome stuff.

    • @ChadSharply
      @ChadSharply 3 месяца назад +2

      Good critiques, but I think the point of this video is more how to move items when to make a system work, rather than how to build the most efficient storage system. Often times I’m building a system limited by aesthetic choices I’ve made or previous elements built that I don’t want to move and this video gives some good techniques for shuttling things around in those types of spaces.

    • @user-ss6ww1hz1h
      @user-ss6ww1hz1h 3 месяца назад +3

      @@ChadSharply Oh yeah, wasn't saying it's a bad video. Looks great...just...he was talking about how he needed a storage system that could keep up, and the extra sorters are just going to take up more time, and it could be quicker and more efficient with less resources. I'm constantly trying to improve my builds and I like criticism. My first reaction will be to cuss for a while, but then I'll go through the arduous task of disassembling whatever piece of the farm I'm going to improve upon, make mistakes with spawning, or I'll break something or a creeper will "help" me disassemble portions of it...I don't always use my Creeper Pack to protect against Creepers breaking blocks...but yeah, I put myself in his place. I'd love to hear from me if I was him...cause I think the ideas I was talking about will probably spark his imagination and he'll make it better than probably I would. LOL But yeah, nothing but positivity from me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just know I'd wanna hear some criticism about my builds and different options. I love it...after I get done cussing. LMAO

    You could have used a glass block over the comparator and run the water over the hoppers.

    • @Prowl8413
      @Prowl8413  3 месяца назад +2

      Doing that can cause issues with items sinking down into hoppers and getting stuck then despawning
