      No mouthful is still frenzel but instead of pulling air from the lungs each time to equalize you store it in the mouth. Really only required below 40 m.

    We’ve gotta start getting to deeper depths over here. Our max spearing depth is at 85ft current, but we have some amazing spots right at 100ft that we’re dying to hit. Love the video man! I see the tank is still there! You got plans for it?

    • @RyanMyersExpeditions
      @RyanMyersExpeditions  4 года назад +1

      Once you can hunt that 80-100 foot range sooo much good stuff opens up around the world. Not usually any super benefit to going much deeper but that section is super productive. Also super dangerous. Push it slowly with good people and good conditions.

    • @sinkphasefreediving8351
      @sinkphasefreediving8351 4 года назад +2

      Ryan Myers definitely! We’re consistently hitting coops at 85ft right now, pulling trigger and 25in plus mangrove snapper off them. But, our group also had its first SHB trying to get a mangrove out of one of those coops, so we’ve become very safety conscious. The guy that blacked out had only hit 66ft, and never went any deeper. He decided to help us try to get that mangrove out and hit 85ft laying on the coop trying to work the fish out for 15 seconds.... needless to say, his body was not ready for that jump in depth 😅

    164 ft on scuba. How long was your decompression?

      Holding my breath no tank no decompression.

      Nothing I used to do standard air with 80 cu ft tanks to 325 ft commercial diving on hawaii island hawaii. Bottom time 25 minutes ledge stop at 100 ft on the way up and then up into the boat. Spent 14 days starting at 292 ft sea water decompression chamber at queens medical center after being bent and airlifted to Oahu. All verifiable.

      @@RyanMyersExpeditions you said you and a buddy with scuba went back and tried to find your gear but didn't find it. On scuba @ 130 ft you have a bottom time of like 6 min . more than that and you have to decompress.

      Ahh gotcha not sure I followed an instructor and just did whatever he said as I’m not really qualified to go that deep. It was super short though only a few minutes looking for the gear and then back up.

      @@VirgilHiggins-ju9ey I used to dive with crazy guys like you...lol they would go down to 300 ft looking for shells. First decompression stop was at 60 ft. Glad you made it through without any problems. I never dove Hawaii but I did dive in the Philippines. 500 hours underwater time. PADI certified divemaster.

    This inspired me. I wanted the bottom of my bathtub like a reef and stayed under for 8 seconds. Like a bull ride. It was epic
