But did some great diving and fishing back in the day.
Stag horn coral was everywhere just below the surface.
    Boat traffic knocked them down.

Heya Aaron, long time viewer but likely my first post. Just wanna say huge cudos for always braining and bleeding fish and the respect you show the prey in general. Like with the lobster and school master in this video. On that note, gotta love how we can reload polespears easily:).
As for the braining and bleeding, you may - dependant on species in your hood - want to add quick gutting, too. I once had a nice chat with a Japanese marine biologist who explained to me that if a fish has parasites in the gut, they will migrate to the flesh once they sense their host is dead. Might take a while, a few hours perhaps, but if you gut them before, there's very little risk of having parasites in the meat.
Cheers again and keep being a hippie:)

Since I have followed him I got my breath hold from (static) 45 seconds max to over 2:30. Plus these two channels offer something different from one another thus making both content still worth viewing. So come here if you want to see some in action stuff and head go Gerts if you want to see some technical out of water stuff.

Love it. Welcome to The Bahamas. So much to see. As big as Florida though mostly under water. Would love to show you around.
Don't mess with the lobster habitats! Bahamian fishermen think they own them. Completely wrong from a legal perspective but try telling them that! Just a word to the wise.
You must come to the National Exuma Land and Sea Park. It is astonishing what a "stitch in time" will do. You can't spearfish but seeing Lobster sunbathing and an 80 pound Black Grouper ("Blackfin Rockfish") hunting with a reef shark in 15 feet of water is pretty cool. And then of course there are the cuts on either end of the park boundaries. Wax Cay Cut and Conch Cut.
