I love this scene, sad as it is. You can see the pain it is putting both Daenerys and Jorah through. I've said this before, but this is the first time someone has bluntly said everything - whilst Jorah is no longer working against Daenerys and has fallen in love with her, he did not trust things to go well if he told her the whole truth. There's the guilt and hurt on Jorah's face as he hears everything he's done with no stopping, and the anger and hurt on Daenerys' - her most trusted advisor didn't trust her. He's chucked out of one of the first cities she independently took, with him at her side.
Life: the Ser Jorah Mormont way; *A chronological summary* - - War...zoned by the Greyjoy Rebellion. - Knightzoned by King Robert (lol that is a horrible word, but still, the proudest day of his life, for his valiant efforts in battle) - Husbandzoned by marrying a beautiful, yet highly strung and snobby new wife expecting a lot more wealth from her Hightower backgrounds, greedily costing Jorah everything of the comparatively little he had, and never being grateful. - Reluctant-slaver-zoned; to keep paying for his wife's luxuries and expensive living. - Enemy-of-the-Realm-zoned mostly by Lord Eddard Stark when his slaver activities became apparent; wife leaves him shortly. - No-son-of-mine-zoned by his dad Jeor 'fookin' Mormont. - Lone-ranger zoned by life in general, wandering Essos, a wandering Mormont bear so far from kin, hearth and home. - annnd then we reach the years where he is famously *friend zoned* by the apparent, true love of his life Daenerys. - Moreover being enemy zoned by her, and now being 'um well I dunno zoned' after Season 5. Oh and lets not forget, greyscale-zoned...probably on a fast track to 'plague ridden painful death zoned'. This poor, wounded bear. All he wants is the sweet honey... **Daenerys cough**
Juyeong Park Hugs to you. I'm feeling the same way. Let's vote for Sansa. She deserves a good man....if there's a miracle cure for him of course. He is ovedue for some good magic and high time he started hatching Mormonts. I hardly think it would dismay him if the firstborn looks like a Bolton. Let Tyrion and Varys try knocking sense into Dany for awhile. Jorah would make a good Warden of the North and could still support the throne from there. I have this planned. :D
@@valkyriesardo278 it pains me how every single tiny little fan theory is absolutely 100% better than what we got, Jorah and Sansa would have been great and wholesome after her hell in the books
I honestly don't understand Jorah's spite towards Tyrion. Jorah was the one who captured him and exposed him to lot's of dangerous situations with his foolishness. Despite all of that Tyrion vows for Jorah's loyalty towards Daenerys and probably saved his head during this scene. And by doing so he didn't only save Jorah but indirectly he saved Daenerys as well.
I can't feel that bad for him. Everyone who cries about him being "friendzoned" when he betrayed her. Yes, he feels horrible for it--but she doesn't know that and she can't trust that he wouldn't betray her again.
well of course she knows that, if she's got half a brain, and of course she can trust that a man in love will be far more loyal than before he was in love.
@@waldoman7I don’t disagree with this, but just because he’s changed doesn’t make her owe him anything. She doesn’t have to forgive him for that betrayal. It cost her the love of her life and their child.
are you saying he betrayed her because she’s saying it or you’re actually not very smart and cannot he BETRAYED "THE USURPER" for her?? Because she’s obviously too stupid and blood boiled to see it…why can’t you?
@@mindfulbees6638??? Are you guys okay?🤣 Jorah didn’t cost her anything in fact, she owes him her life. She would be dead in some Dothraki camp after being raped by 40k men if it wasn’t for Jorah. You think drogo’s death was on him?did you watch the show? If anything it was on HER since the fight started because of HER deciding to make new laws, which led to her husband being poisoned by the witch. Also not only do Targaryen have miscarriages all the time, the witch (who again only has access to forgo because she was injured) had the baby sacrificed or whatever…Jorah had nothing to do with any inconvenience she went through, only the positive. And as the ungrateful little brat she always was, she was never thankful.
@@youngerudit2524 You miss the very important fact that, if he hadn't been reporting on her to the spies, that man wouldn't have tried to poison her in the market, thus Drogo wouldn't have been so quick to declare war on Westeros etc.
It makes a lot more sense in the books. SPOILERS (assuming I remember correctly): After the Greyjoy rebellion, there was a tourney held at Lannisport. Jorah took part in the jousting while wearing the favor of Lynesse Hightower around his arm, and after he won against Jaime Lannister, he crowned Lynesse as his queen and love and beauty (similar to the concept of the rose Rhaegar gave to Lyanna because she was so beautiful). Jorah pleaded for her hand in marriage, and he got it. They moved back north to Bear Island, but Lynesse was sad. Bear island was lacking many of the comforts of the south. Jorah began to hire some of the best cooks and singers and such as he could find, and bought her lots of nice jewelry. However, the Mormonts weren't a wealthy family. All of this pretty much left his house bankrupt, but Jorah still wanted to make his wife happy. Rather than give a some criminals over to the Nights Watch, Jorah decided to sell them into slavery so he could make his wife happy. When Ned Stark found out, Jorah and Lynesse fled to Essos. This left them in an even worse financial situation, and Lynesse was unwilling to part with the Jewelry she had kept. Lynesse left Jorah to become one of some rich dude's mistresses, and Jorah was alone. When Dany asked Jorah what Lynesse looked like, Jorah said that she looked like Dany.
Emilia Clarke's acting got much better around here. She conveyed both suppressed anger and disappointment in three words at "Yes. Many opportunities."
The character is getting older, so it makes sense that she would act with more complex emotions
She’s not my type, but that being said she’s definitely WRONG for this role
Jorah's acting is underrated as fuck here. The literal amount of fervent lament on his face is INTENSE.
yeah it's just you who noticed

Tyrion: you should get back at his betrayal by having sex with me
Tyrion spoke vwey well here
At 1:22 , is he crying? He's frickin' crying! Just take him back Dany, he loves. Why you do this to him Khaleesi? WHHHYYYYY??
Because he betrayed her? Sold information to Robert and endangered her life?
Watching this scene after asking one of my closest friends, who I am also somewhat of an advisor to, to be my girlfriend and getting turned down
This man is just constantly friendzoned to the point where it's hilarious! Jorah needs to stop trying!

I want to know what the music to this is called
Be an original score composed for it. Find out the season and episode and Google score for it
