    My Lil' Review.
GRC Circuit is broke in (now @ 2k kms) a/w PPF & Mud Flaps installed - time to get rowdy🤡
Bought the car as a utilitatian daily (cuz U gotta p/u beer). & have some fun on back roads (gravel & snow covered surfaces et al)
I was on a well graveled road with plenty of banked 90 degree turns. They would have been a slam dunk drifting with any RWD vehicle - muscle memory would have kicked in. Heck even with my Fiesta ST (after 10 years of ownership) I could drifted those corner at speed, under relative control.
BUT the AWD on the GR is a totally different dynamic for me. I did manage to slide around the corners but my inputs were pretty wooden & uncertain. With the extra forward moving traction it will take a bit to get a feel for that aspect.
Good fun though & much it's better than expected.
At 100 mph it feels just as planted as my 911's were (if memory serves) ie Walk in the park. (really)👍
At 125 mph it is fine but you have to pay more attention than @ 00!
Now that I am actually "driving" this beast - A trip to the mountains will be inevitable.

Haha you’re hilarious! I have watched a gazillion GR Corolla RUclips videos and just when I think I have overdosed on GR Corolla videos and start getting bored you turn it up several notches! With some powerfully expressive words that I haven’t heard anyone use yet on the GR Corolla and you drive the point through quite succinctly! That was short and thoroughly enjoyable. Very true on the shifter, I struggled with the feel initially but now getting the hang of it, it’s a very mechanical feel but you express it better 😂. I’m off to see your full review …..

In terms of the price would you say this is the best bang for your buck for performance?

I gotta be honest, its a totally different car and on paper more expensive, but Ford Mustang GTs are starting to pile up on dealer lots. GR Corollas are still pretty scarce, at least where I am in SoCal. Toyota dealers are not afraid to mark cars up, and I imagine you could get a pretty favorable discount on a Mustang GT right now. If the prices were the same, I'd have to give the nod to the 480 horsepower V8 Ford, and that's the one I'd have in my driveway for the money. They are very different cars though, so YMMV.

That is a good point. Those mustangs are everywhere. I think the only time a the GRC will out perform it is in daily usability and traction because of the awd (assuming theyd be fitted with comparable tires).

How did you get this car to test drive? My dealer won't even let me sit in one. Such SOBs.Its a Corolla not a 1937 Bugatti Atlantic.

    Great stuff man.
Hate the infotainment screens on these cars where they stick up there like that.
    It's lazy imo.
