WHEW! It's almost over! On day 27 I entertain a special guest and make one of the best campfire desserts ever.... SKILLET APPLE CRISP! Who knew you could do apple crisp on a campfire? It turned out wonderful and I really enjoyed the time spent with my hubby!

Brooke, I first discovered you on RUclips while looking at all kinds of different bush craft videos and I just have to say that I genuinely appreciate your channel. You are so upbeat and have a positive outlook on things and I agree with the philosophy of shutting down technology, turning off the TV and getting outside and into nature. Golly, I enjoyed hubby joining you! Was super excited anticipating who your guest was going to be. Silly me... but I teared up hearing his voice- knew immediately who it was. No, he wasn’t scary, ha. Just happy for you. Relationships are so cockeyed important and meant to be thru thick and thin. I can say that after 51 years and counting. Thank you for all of your hard work this past month. And the apple crisps looked tasty too! Seems you have a pretty good start on that campfire cookbook :)
