One example is it can cause emotional damage because sex is meant to unite two people and so it creates a strong bond and when people break up after having sex, it can be a lot more upsetting than for people who break up and never had sex. Waiting until marriage can save women from a lot of problems, like emotional damage, staying in a bad relationship too long because they feel attached from creating that intimacy with someone, pregnancy when the people are not ready, sometimes abortion because of those pregnancies, STDs, etc. I also would like to add that I'm specifically talking about women in this, but I think it is equally as important for men to wait until marriage too. You should read about how purity culture is dangerous & harms people. A lot of them show the same symptoms as those who have been diagnosed with PTSD. Not to mention it is literally used to keep women ignorant & inexperienced so they don’t know what to do in situations they may not be comfortable with.

It also can be hypocritical. Women have as much right to have multiple partners as men do. Women enjoy sex as much as men.
Your “purity “ is not a measure of your worth as a person. There is nothing wrong w having multiple partners as long as you are safe, you are not hurting anyone & you are not damaging someone else’s relationship.
