When he said he looked back up at the Building and seen his brothers looking back down at him out the window, I got goosebumps. He saved their life
Extremely Intelligent and Brave young man.
Not so sure about the saving life thing. Seems they were in no physical danger. As for him being intelligent, it took him around 17-18 years to figure out he does not need to be in a box while other people move around freely outside. That does not sound very Intelligent to me. I am sure if the father was more resourceful he could have kept them there until his death.

So unless you go through it yourself you unfortunately are not going to understand the fear and guts it takes to get away from someone who kept you isolated. Shyness is something you're born with
@Jonathan Rodriguez no you're born introverted, atleast I was. I was shy my whole life till about 23-24, has nothing to do with experiences really. In fact experiences make you less shy and just more realistic
@Jonathan Rodriguez that's good. Problem that go from shy to social are usually the most effective communicators because they've experienced the whole spectrum. Being too talkative is annoying, being to quiet is weird. You wanna be somewhere in the middle lol

It would mostly be fear. If you watch another documentary or a movie like "Room", you might understand a bit better.
They were taught to live like this from birth. Maybe they grew up believing there was something wrong with them or the outside world. Maybe one tried to escape before and they were severely beaten.
It's kind of like asking "why didn't she leave?" when a woman is in a domestic violence situation. They are brainwashed into thinking staying is the right thing to do, that nobody but the person trapping them cares about them etc.

"There's no way my father would be able to recognize me."
Reporter "Rrright...."
They literally all seem like awesome well rounded guys, god bless them
It's amazing to see boys locked up in a house for a lot of their lives turn out to be such sweet gentlemen.
I would imagine that they would want to emulate the characters they liked in movies. Yes they are very sweet boys.
so much for violent movies and games turning kids into monsters. Looks like too much soda is the real culprit
It really says something about American style movies. While violence is always shown, its very rarely the side most people empathize with, or the violence is justified and done for a greater good.
☝ especially when you look at their favourite films
They were taught by their parents
I hate how he said “That might sound pathetic to some people”. No it’s called being an actor. It’s not pathetic. Much respect growing from nothing but to watching movies. Movies/films can be a savior.
i hope they become actors . Definitely talented
This is both awesome and really sad at the same time. I grew up in a very strict Christian household, I was homeschooled and didn’t really have connections with the outside world. I can’t help but empathize. The creativity they’ve harnessed is great but this is actually child abuse and it’s so difficult to incorporate yourself into society after living such a hindered life. The fact that he found being in a psych ward a positive experience simply because he had social interaction opportunities for the first time ever…
Wildest thing is..... These kids are this awesome thanks to their obviously very disturbed dad, that forged an amazing bond with their mom.
Would love to hear the father's story and what caused him to do this to his family.😕
They have been quarantining for 14 years and y’all complaining about 5 month
THIS!!! so true !
Yeah cause it’s cancer
Because most people have jobs
They had a choice to leave anytime while we have to stay for our safety while many places are close
@@drewrichdz6940 cancer? are you like 9? cancer is serious but it's covid 19 were stuck in our houses for
I feel like if the dad never wanted his kids to leave he should have introduced them to video games
Quick-Sword Ilena Its also sad that maybe they won't even get to go to a con that has the actual ACTORS FROM THEIR FAVORITE MOVIES! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
Quick-Sword Ilena
mostly just world of warcraft...
or minecraft
Fernando Heredia this
And they say "TV fries your brain"... they are articulate and seem to have a surprisingly positive attitude.
These boys are just incredible ❤
ok... so the video’s just going to glide over the fact that these people were locked into their apartment?!
Looking at positive things.
They have a future in front of them
@skorn Yes. Like prisoners. Sh+t happen. They may be grateful still being alive.
I found this doc beautiful by skipping on ''waste'' time, not interesting stuff as a sick deviant dad. Not giving him any interest, contrary to those who are fascinated by murderers or make easy publicity to terrorists.
Shut up the news already covered that this video is a closer look at how the brothers managed to survive mentally through the tragedy imagine talking to a disaster survivor only about the disaster? They have personality they want to show the world that idiots
They did another video on them that talked about it
They weren't locked in at all. Just didnt leave
Little do they know cosplaying is actually a thing.
what is cosplaying? please
@@royferguson3909 costume play, basically dressing up as characters in shows, movies, and video games
Yeah they would be incredible film critiques
@@royferguson3909 are y living in a cavreree
😭😭😭u freak You
This is adorable and sad and worrying and...ugh. So many emotions all at the same time.
I swear I was just recently thinking about this….I watched this awhile back and boom it’s on my feed again crazy….10 mil views damn!
I wonder what caused their father to become so paranoid about the outside world that he'd keep his family imprisoned in their own apartment their entire lives.
Lol quite alot really.
I have that same problem as the dad, probably got social phobia. Its not the the extreme but I would never really leave my house unless I really need to leave.
sad anime backstory
i would be paranoid too but you need to let your kids grow up its not too uncommon for parent to not understand the difference between protecting your kids and suffocating them
This is how u make social OutKast an complete weirdos iam sure these kids have some very bad underlining problems
These guys should become actors
they have a movie
b3 it's a documentary, not a movie.
Or something in film. They could be directors, producers, writers, editors, etc... maybe something positive could come from their dark childhood.
the one needs to be a prop artist, he did all that with nothing, imagine what he could do with professional equipment
Yeah, they're so dedicated to their art.
These are the type of people you want to be friends with. They are such positive friendly and sociable people for what they endured. It’s absolutely amazing
Would love to see a movie about these boys, they are incredible
I met Mukunda in NYC. Really nice guy, seemed a bit embarrassed to be recognized haha.
That's cool. Hope he is doing well. How did you meet him?
John Cluphf he probably met him in the streets when mukunda went to the grocery store
I'd be a fan
I would love to see them make a movie out of their story, I'd watch it man.
what if i told you, THAT THEY DID.
i found it a couple of days ago after I made this comment, it looks really cool.
What’s the title of their movie? And where can I find it?
Citlalli AguiIar its called the Wolfpack
So would they...
That kind of dedication is truly inspiring.
Why isn't anyone talking about the psycho father that locked them up for 14 years? Did everyone just ignore that part?
