David Klingler from Uni of Houston. Had one of the best collegiate seasons of all time. A video on his career/fall off would be very interesting since it’s something that hasn’t really been covered on RUclips.
I was at Alabama State when they played Concordia. I was surprised to see him there. I remember him being in the top 5 players in his recruiting class. He was clearly the best player on the field.
❤ Fred Rouse is doing very good, I see him daily that's my favorite cuzn and he did have his time he can't not change it, also he still can play in the field also teaches his little cuzn to play and he still have that run
God bless you and your family. This is how we’re supposed to have the best interest of our family and love them. We need that more than any other race.
Noel Devine would be a good story too. His high school highlight tape is top 3-5 you’ll ever see. He was pretty good in college but didn’t do anything in the pros. He’s from prime times home town and i think they have a relationship too
My first time seeing a player being featured from Tallahassee on your channel.. Now you have to do a story of Tarry Givens from Tallahassee (Godby Highschool) 6’4 190 ran a 4.2 40 and played at University of Alabama 2001-04 FASCINATING and CERTAINLY a story to be covering.. strap on yours seatbelt (No,take it off) this one is going to take for a surprising ride!! Keep Up The Great Work Matt 👑✅
A video on the Calapari era of UK, focusing specifically on the career length of players who were drafted. I think the numbers may be surprisingly low.
Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, SGA, John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, Eric Bledsoe, Julius Randle, among many others. Yall just saying anything to hate on calapari since this last tournament. Yeah hes had alot of 5stars-even top 10 recruits- who didnt live up to their expectations but you cant expect EVERY single player hes had to live up to their hype. What he has done at UK is crazy idk if it'll ever be replicated or anyone even on his level.
@@bradd2400 I'm a Kentucky Fan you dunce, don't get so butthurt over a comment that is not about you. It's actually sad. We are allowed to evaluate someone's career, especially when the main goal of that career was said to put young men in the NBA. Didn't mention the harrison twins I see.
I think he was in the AFL2 circuit for a bit. I thought I saw him in Spokane when they had a team in the league. I worked with the team on a lot of projects, and was a season tix holder. If I come across any old programs I'll look for him in them.
I know you usually do videos of single players but would be cool if you did something like a decades compilation and showing some of the most dominant and influential people of college football/sports in general with each decade. Just thinking about all the cool and wild players in the 80’s gets me excited😂 Bo Jackson, The Boz, Prime Time, the list could go on and on and that’s just one generation which could be just one video. Something to think about. Nothing wrong with what you’ve got going so keep doing you just throwing it out there.
Man I remember this guy great work Matt … and I also remember another FSU 5 star Matthew Thomas he was one of my favorite players I hoped Saban got him but he went to FSU 🤷🏽♂️
Man I remember he tried to go to the pros straight outta high school. He said he would’ve been a 3rd round pick easily. Me and my dad still chuckle about that to this day. Love the confidence in him tho.
Fred was the first national recruit I ever followed. I was younger but yeah you couldn't tell me he wasn't the next great WR. It's a shame he couldn't pull it together. I'm making this comment before watching the video so maybe you touch on it but I really hope he pulled his stuff together.
Great but sad story of what could have been! Would really like to know what he’s up to now! It’s very rare that anyone that was as high profile as he was completely disappears from all social media platforms for the last 10 years! If anyone knows an update please tell me! I hope it’s not a bad ending
AH, Freddie Rouse! Talk about a guy who threw away a NFL fortune. Moving from Florida to Texas would have been the best thing for him. But you can't fix stupid!
Fred was the Truth when I was in high school back in 2005. I had an opportunity to play with the guy at Concordia-Selma back in 2010-2011. I was a second team freshman on defense. Before I transferred out of Selma
Hey Matt, got an athlete for you when you get to looking for material....RICKY Williams. He had and has an interesting story that yhe younger gen may need to hear. GREAT JOB as always!!! GL from Huntsville.
Did the story of Nate Craig Meyers I went to high school with him he was regarded as the number one wide receiver in 2016. I graduated the year ahead of him. Can you do a story and I never knew what happened after I left high school I join the military always wondered what happened to him
I was in his freshmen class at FSU. Guy was a prick on many levels back then. Treated people like shit around campus and in the locker room… also professors. What a waste of
I think, whenever you’re on the top of the world like this. Not making it to the top is completely embarrassing. You don’t to be seen by anybody in real life, let alone online.
I don't know if I hate to say it but if they would've had NIL or some form of profit sharing from football program or wherever they would've delegated the $ from
The Alabama cream pies. Bros gona be crying a lot this season. Sagan retired and it was like his dog died. It’s gonna be way more tears from this nerd this season. Them cream pies are getting smashed multiple times this year. 8-4.
I knew Coach Wilson at Lincoln highschool & played for him for a season. Huge prick but was a winner at times. I was at FSU when Rouse first got on campus. We were all pumped for him to break out. Then he gets kicked off the team and gets caught breaking into a former teammates apartment by (& yeah actually) leaving his FSU recievers gloves with his initials and number on them at the crime scene 🤔.
Why do you all think this story is so common among so-called black student athletes? What factors typically lead up to it and how should blacks be viewed and treated due to this?
“This is all the way back in 2005-2006”… damn man, hurts every time
Fred Rouse was my teammate at Florida State. My freshman year we used to hang out a lot. He had great talent.
I grew up watching Fred Rouse in high school. He was the best player in our city
David Klingler from Uni of Houston. Had one of the best collegiate seasons of all time. A video on his career/fall off would be very interesting since it’s something that hasn’t really been covered on RUclips.

Please do a vid on what happened to Kelly Bryant, haven’t seen anything about him since he left Clemson
yes I remember him
He played at Mizzou
Noel Devine would be a good story too. His high school highlight tape is top 3-5 you’ll ever see. He was pretty good in college but didn’t do anything in the pros. He’s from prime times home town and i think they have a relationship too
Devine went to the same high school as Dieon. North Fort Myers. There is not an great story behind Devine and Prime

Don Rogers. The Len Bias of football.

The greatest receiver I ever seen
Fred is great guy. A real legend on and off the field. Taught me a lot!

Yes the Clausen Brothers
Major Harris was a good dual threat before his time

No it wouldn't. He clearly was a bust. It happens more than one thinks about 5 star players out of high school

Hey Matt, got an athlete for you when you get to looking for material....RICKY Williams. He had and has an interesting story that yhe younger gen may need to hear. GREAT JOB as always!!! GL from Huntsville.
Bro... You should definitely do a video on Mitch Mustain. He had a 91 grade. Ranked 12th out of the ESPN Top 150. AND he was the #2 QB in the nation.

Waiting the day you make the great 5 start cornerback that got one to many chances...
He definitely tossed the ball in the air at about 5 yard line on that pick six.
I don't know if I hate to say it but if they would've had NIL or some form of profit sharing from football program or wherever they would've delegated the $ from

D’Wan Mathis former georgia 5 star QB
