There's a lot of them. Ronald Hutchins did a book documenting the rise of witchcraft (the total lack of historical grounding to their claims), but the hard turn to the left they took. The thing people need to come to grips with is that these people have been recruited into our government, no questions asked. They are hard core socialists, and their purpose is to take everything to the left. They have access to all our secret counter-terrorim technology, which they are trained to deploy. There's so much more, of course. We need to pray and seek God's protection, and the exposure of anything being done in secret in the name of 'social justice."

As a child I loved Harry Potter and honestly I didn’t have any lure to witchcraft because of that. It’s not really about the magic at all. I was way more influenced in my fascination with witchcraft during my teens by feminism.

When you read or watch testimonies from people who have come out of the New Age, they warn against all of this. I have watch videos where people were saying they were so shocked at some of the things they have found in the church. Yoga, crystals, essential oils, aroma therapy, astrology, ‘angel’ cards, etc. it has infiltrated everywhere. While they say some of these things aren’t bad on their own, like herbs for medicine, it is the power people give them. It is the New Age mindset.

Astrology is fun and extremely important indeed! What people don't realize oftentimes is the fact that there's 13 signs and not 12. It comes down to the details of my birth. There's twelve signs for each month. If i'm born in a particular month, i am of that sign. These are the twelve signs of Death. Then there's the sign of Life, number 13. If i am born from above, i am of that sign - the sign of Christ. That sign will give me life instead of death coming from the other twelve signs. The sign of Christ will cancel out and triumph over every other sign.
It is also important to get fresh news about my sign every day. If my sign is one of the twelve, i need to read my daily horoscopes, to minister death to myself. If my sign is number thirteen, the sign of Christ, i need to read my Bible daily, to minister life to myself.
Astrology is also important in relationships. I need to marry someone, whose sign is compatible with my sign. If my sign is Christ, i am not compatible with the other twelve signs. I need to marry someone with the sign of Christ.

I fell into this before Christ made his way into my life. It's a weird start but for me it began when I got help for depression and anxiety, when I went into hospital there were therapeutic practices that my gut told me were a bit strange but innocent enough, I even said to another girl in my group doesn't this seem a bit "hocus pocus" like focusing on manifesting through "journaling", yoga, energy channeling through identifying where the feelings were blocked. This was at a Presbyterian hospital! It was the gateway for me coupled with having had anti Christian professors in college at the time. I fell hard into this stuff and it led to some weird happenings within my spirit and my own home (shadow figures, orbs, sleep paralysis) but all of these things I took great comfort in. It wasn't until I had my son that I realized God's true love for me and I accepted Jesus into my heart the day he was born. I haven't had shadows or sleep paralysis or much depression/anxiety since accepting Christ. It took me about two years to cleanse my space of all the new age items such as tarot cards, Everytime I went to do it I couldn't get rid of them. When I actually threw them away my hands felt like they were burning. These things are real and dangerous and Christ is the only way out of the darkness. God blessed me with my son so that I could see his light.

Serenana32 There is no such thing as “Christian Witches”. These are people who want to use The Occult; yet still wants to hold on to their Christian background or faith. They have been deceived into believing that as long as they contribute their “gifts” to God and Jesus they are somehow “different from typical witches who use The Occult for their gifts”. These are demons posing as messengers from God or Jesus. That they have been sent to aid the person. IT IS A LIE.... Jesus does not participate in witchcraft!! He absolutely would not condone his followers using things that his father specifically told humans to stay away from. It’s this type of vanity and pride that led to Adam and Eve’s fall. IF you are practicing witchcraft and you think Jesus is living inside you? You are being manipulated by Satan and his demons! I urge you to turn back and ask Jesus to rid your life of this influence NOW! I will pray for your soul.

There is a movie called "The Witches" with Cher. They "manifested" a man in their life (Jack Nicholson) and he turned out to be the devil who learned all that he could about them and then used it later against them to hurt them. What a lesson a missed in that film. I got EVERYTHING I MANIFESTED...and lost it just as fast. Hoodoo was my specialty because it uses the Bible to "cast spells." I was so deceived. I just knew that I needed things (house, money, job) and didn't believe that God loved me enough to give me what I wanted. So I decided to not bother God and get things on my own. One day, I just got so tired of all of the things I had to do. Jesus is easier...

As a Christian, I'm glad Hawkins said what he did. It's true, and Christians have been saying it for years. Eugenics theoretically would work. The only thing keeping us from a nightmare dystopia is the concept of objective morality. An individual human life has more value than a cow or a rose or anything else in the universe, but only IF there is a form of value beyond personal feeling and amoral matter. Millions of people in the West now believe that objective morality does not exist. Even this latest experiment with woke PC culture is society trying to form its own kind of "morality" based on postmodern non-theistic thinking, because humans are moral creatures and will try to fill the void left behind when traditional values are removed. So far it's given us the morally righteous and logically excellent culture in which one's age determines if being killed is murder or just another day at the office, and gender is both sacred and non-existent. God can't walk on water, but my male neighbor can make himself become a woman by fiat. Legitimate democratic government is "literal" dictatorship, but we should totally give government what little sovereignty we have left.
Allison is also right. The reason people from all sides react strongly to the idea of eugenics is, and is *only* , because they are emotionally invested. "Eugenics is bad because *my* neighbor is autistic, or because *I* am a minority. But what if the same people had no skin in the game? Or what if the specific category to be "therapeutically neutralized" was one they had no special feelings for? What percentage of those negative responses would vanish? 10%?...20%...who knows? Then there is only the cold, practical logic of scientific materialism, and history has taught us that logic has absolutely 0 problem with eugenics.
That's why we need more than a weird and unstable combination of feelings and scientific materialism. We NEED objective morality.

They never went out of their way to do anything remotely related to it, not even playing with an ouija board, but they were still visited by and saw the dead. From people's relatives trying to give a message through them or just those who know they could see them. They hate it but it just won't stop. I wonder why that sort of stuff happens.

Some of the practices that you see in this new age and new wave come from the core of other cultures and other beliefs not just witchcraft, please be respectful of that. I realize that the core of this was criticizing the trend of witchcraft, but a sense of hate towards other religions and practices (this could just be cultural/ non western) was an underlying tone in the whole video. Please look beyond the trends and research the core of these beliefs before making a general declaration that everything non-Christian is inherently bad or even satanic. You don’t have to adopt or even accept these other beliefs, but I’d assume that you would appreciate at least respect towards your religion from someone else, it’s only right to give that sense of respect back. Not that you’re not allowed to disagree, or be skeptical of them, just respect people’s differences. We all live and were raised differently with different cultures, that’s going to reflect how we view the world and religion or our practices. It’s just something worth being mindful about. Much love, and thank you for your perspective.

Good msg except about essential oils. There IS healing properties in essential oils. It's the same reason you use eucalyptus for cleaning, it's not just because it "smells" nice, it's because it's proven to be anti-bacterial, meaning kills bacteria. You want the same properties in your medicine if you're fighting a bacterial infection. Most allopathic medicine originated with plants and herbs. Each to their own, but we choose to medicate our children with essential oils instead of Panadol or Tylenol. Doesn't make mum's like us witches, we still know who the true God is and who THE healer is. We still pray over our children for healing and thankful for their health. Each Christian should learn to discernment on these things and not throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. X

Hey Simone. I was into the new age/occult until God convicted me of what I was doing. We humans can be deceived so easily, and because of the sinful nature, we at more susceptible to influences that are not Christian because satan has blinded our minds. While I was in it, it seemed that everything was grandiose, like I had special abilities. everything really was about me and what I could do, I felt sort of high all the time. also the use of drugs isn't good for the brain. It felt like that spiritual need could be met if I kept attaining more information and growing, so you dig deeper into the practices. I felt we were all moving towards higher consciousness and one world everything. A few years ago, I was reading something about Jesus and it was like the scales fell from my eyes. God convicted me of my sin, I didn't realize witchcraft and stuff was a sin. Anywho, I threw out all my stuff, and decided to follow Christ. Now, I am a completely different person. Still a sinful human, but forgiven. all this Glory to God. He saved me, I don't deserve it, but my life is more, rich now. I still struggle and sin, because the flesh is weak. i am growing, sanctification is lifelong :)But my only hope is in Jesus, what He did on the cross for me. It's been so hard to work through a lot since I was saved, unlearning sinful habits and thoughts, but God has kept me this far. I dunno if what I says answers your question.

That was a WONDERFUL podcast, Allie! You thought maybe you should have just done the second part, but I really appreciate that you did the part about eugenics, too. As a person with, certainly by now, irreversible brain damage, who cannot even safely carry children in my womb because of the medication I have to take, I truly appreciate your recognition and telling others that we ALL have great worth because we are made in the image of The Almighty. But I have to admit that I am still for the death penalty, because there are those who sell their souls to the devil, and there are those who may or may not have been born with the ability to develop a conscience, who intentionally hurt our brothers and sisters in the human family for the specific purpose of forwarding their selfish agendas. I will also note here that not all sociopaths and psychopaths kill people. (That is part of the legal definitions, but not part of the clinical definitions. For example, #OprahWinfrey is a clinical sociopath, or maybe a clinical psychopath. Either way, she does not have the ability to feel remorse.)

I’ve always been curious if it is biblical or right to search out help for illness: is it wrong to seek out answers from the medical profession, while praying to God? I know myself and my colleagues pray often for guidance help from our Lord to heal and give hope and show compassion to our patients. God is our guiding light. Hope Allie agrees!

I believe that there is the curse of sin and our fallen nature that can bring about certain troubles and that to want healing isn’t unnatural. I just wonder where the line is drawn as far as when it becomes an issue for the believer? Like idolizing cures and utilizing methods that seem ungodly. I don’t know. Maybe like secular counseling? Drug dependency? Giving power to drugs and healing? It makes me think of people who went into temples of gods to receive healing through ungodly ways like being touched by snakes.. etc. where is this line drawn? (If indeed there is a line)

  • @barn_program

As a disabled non-believer, I would say that you can acknowledge the following: that the existence of all humans is important and their value inherent without having that idea coming from a moral compass from a divine being. This can come from the place of recognising that life is a joyous thing from a phenomenological perspective, and that where people experience suffering this is often the result of societal shortcomings that impact a person's access to joy. For example, the lack of access for disabled people to many public/social/community spaces is bound to inhibit the joy you experience. The undue stress that many people face generally can be seen as result of the working world we have created, and the dependence on capital simply to live. In addition many disabled people are the furthest away from basic material needs, because their labour value is considered lower (whether or not that is in part because of lack of accessibility in the workplace is another question we should ask there). In my own case I will never be able to work full-time hours because of my health - does that mean I should always have a low-income, else rely on other people's charity to meet my basic needs (if they even decide they wish to give it to me)?
From a survival perspective there are many things that intuitively seem wrong to us because they do not advantage us. Humans thrive on community and gain an advantage from the method of working together, rather than the individualistic survival-of-the-fittest model, the latter of which which would be a hardcore reading of evolution and is not, as far as I'm aware, what many scientists working in evolutionary biology today would claim. In many ways this looks to me like it is part of what has made us develop in certain ways that other species haven't.
I think often the reading people have of survival-of-the-fittest is suited to their own ideologies. For people who have (subconscious/hidden) distain for disabled people, the idea of a scientific basis for excluding or even eradicating them is appealing. I also believe that many scientists studying human biology and its historical origins, especially Darwin, had their own latent biases and prejudices which they have used their findings to reinforce. This kind of science emerged at a time when phrenology was still a legitimate science in the Western world and many were keen to use scientific findings to back up racist and (dis)ableist views.
The question I would pose to you @alliebethstuckey is this: you can be a believer in Christ and against eugenics, in fact this seems to be a logical extension of this kind of faith. I am non-partisan politically and also not from the US, but what seems clear to me is that Conservative governments in various countries have denied opportunities, access and basic material resources for disabled people. In my own country, comprehensive independent research from the UN ascertained that our government had committed 'grave and systemic violations of disabled people's human rights'. This included upholding policy that denied sufficient financial support for disabled people, and that over 100,000 deaths of disabled people were linked directly to this policy.
I don't see how this governmental framework aligns with a Christian worldview, and would wish to know what any Conservative Christian who sees value in disabled people thinks about this. Rejecting eugenics in the way Dawkins talks about it is important, but denying disabled people these things once they are living in the world is also wrong and any society should seek to address this.

Aww! Allie is so cute! She doesn't know what astral projection is. What a witchcraft noob!
Sorry, I couldn't help it. AP is a part of that New Age crap in which your "astral body" can be sent out of your regular physical body and allow you to travel around and be "present" in other locations. It's basically crystal-hugger-speak for what the old witch-hunters thought witches did with brooms. It's also known to us non-witchy-types as "imagination."

Yes, except the imagination part. We are aware of the four dimensions we exist in, but there is evidence that there are many more. Those who engage in high levels of witchcraft have experienced other dimensions, including being able to travel on the astral plane. I have heard testimonies of former high level satanists who would astral project to curse churches and believers around the world. It sounds far fetched to us who have never experienced it, but there is a whole lot that goes on around us that we do not perceive.

      @@danielleia ,
The "experience" of "others" is not "evidence." Not good evidence anyway. Even if they were experiencing something real as opposed to psychological manifestations, that does not mean that the interpretation that witchcraft gives those experiences is accurate. Well-meaning physicians in the past were able to find and use a few really useful remedies, but that doesn't provide evidence that the theories they proposed such as humor-balancing or animal magnetism were in any way accurate discriptions of reality. In fact, they harmed at least as often as they helped. So...
      A) You don't really have "evidence" of the reality of such phenomena, and
      B) Even if you did, there is no reason to believe that what was experienced matches the magiko-new age explanations of what astral projection supposedly is.

Yes it takes alot of faith to believe the way atheist do. If u look at space most of what they call facts are all based on theory which is not facts. Theories can be wrong but facts don't change. Scientists have been trying to take basic elements and make a cell for 50 years and can't do it. The cell needs enzymes that are more complex then the cell to build the cell. So yeah it takes more faith to believe in evolution then it does to believe in God.

Is a great video that explains the complexity of the cell and how science can't reproduce it.

I find it interesting because our parents actually raised us never watching Harry Potter because we’re christians, but by the time the Harry Potter series was starting my oldest sister had already moved out of the house. She’s always been weird though. Claims that she can see dead people, and said she was 4-5 years old when she first encountered an entity... Now, being a witch is literally her mode of income and her appearance on social media is extremely important to her, and I’ve more than once have antagonize her views on FB. She seriously views herself as this “holier than thou” person, yet she casts spells and probably sold her soul to the devil... literally lmao Me and her are on totally opposite ends of ideology. I pray for her.
