Wow I learned something major by watching this. You can take a screenshot with the pencil. I take a lot of screenshots and I didn't know that until right now. I just tried it. Yeah it works. Awesome. That way of doing it is A LOT easing than the old way. Thanks for making the video.
@@cheryleatheoriginal3019 well since the time I watched this video that method is my main way to take screenshots now. I use it ALL the time. You put your pencil at the bottom left corner of the screen and you drag the pencil diagonally towards the middle of the screen. It takes a little practice to get a feel for how it works.
Here I thought my surface pro 6 was gonna be able to do this . IT LAGS WHEN I HAVE TWO APPLICATION OPEN and sometimes it crashes. Smh should’ve bought the iPad

My computer is broken during COVID so it’s taking a really long time to get fixed (which I totally understand!) but I’ve been very reliant on my iPad for my work and everything else. I can’t use many full/main Adobe products obviously, but besides that I can do basically everything. I am very glad I have this!!!!

Oh wow I've got the MX Master 3 mouse I use for my IMAC 27 which has a button to switch to toggle between 3 different systems. This video just made me realize I could connect it up and can now switch back an forth between my ipad and desktop with a click of a button! Superrrrrrrrr cool... thanks!!
@8:26 if you have “Attention aware features” enabled under Face ID, I think the iPad will avoid dimming or locking if it detects your attention. Seems like that would allow you to read without worrying about the iPad locking on you, right? It’s a good idea to leave auto lock enabled for added security, for times that you don’t have the cover on. Let me know if I’m wrong on that.

Hi! I'm a teacher and I just got my iPad Pro 11'! I had an iPad Air 3 but this is on a whole new level. However, I have a doubt regarding the apps I usually used on my android tablet, namely office apps, like word, excel and powerpoint. On my android, I just downloaded them from the play store and they work just fine just with me logging in my hotmail account; but I downloaded these from the Appstore and I can't edit files. Isn't there a free version of this for the iPad? I use them a lot in school. Thanks for all the tips!

I’m dumb, I didn’t know I could add an alternate face to the Face ID on my phone. I just set it up so that it would recognize me when I yawn now 😄😄 (getting the iPad pro once my apple pen comes in)
Lily B I use mine for uni study and I’m in love only way to do school work in my opinion. So light compared to my MacBook Pro I barely use it now and I love hand writing notes without having 6 notebooks. Never had a problem with it my school offers Microsoft accounts for students that you can log into so you can use excel and word or outlook and OneNote (where I take all my notes and they transfer to anything when I log in to the account) on it. My teachers all comment on me using an iPad and are so surprised by it I always let them try it out and they love it!

Man… I almost decided against buyin the 2020 12.9 pro, but man am I ever glad I did. Found one for 700$ with the magic keyboard case. This IS a laptop, so much so that it now feels weird to use outside of this case. Never slows down, better battery life than I’ve ever had in one of my laptops there is nothing it can’t do as far as what I need at home and at work. Also being able to connect a controller to it and game while in bed is a wicked bonus

This is something you have to worry about with all technology. Technology always is advancing, but it doesn’t make whatever you own any worse. If you’re happy with this iPad now, it will stay the same and get even better with updates. Apple wouldn’t support their iPads and Macs for 6+ years if they didn’t expect people to keep them for that long!

Really usefull video! I've just turned Mac and bought a iMac and a new 12.7 2020 iPad pro to go with it. The problem is that you get no manual or anything useful with it, and if you're not used to Apple stuff, you're missing out on so many things. (Gone are the days of the Commadore 64 and it's 3 tonne manual!!) Thankfully, I found you,which is just what I needed. Many thanks.

You forgot swipe typing while the keyboard is small - I use that quite a bit when I need to type quickly without my external keyboard.

Never slows down, better battery life than I’ve ever had in one of my laptops there is nothing it can’t do as far as what I need at home and at work.
Also being able to connect a controller to it and game while in bed is a wicked bonus

This is something you have to worry about with all technology. Technology always is advancing, but it doesn’t make whatever you own any worse. If you’re happy with this iPad now, it will stay the same and get even better with updates. Apple wouldn’t support their iPads and Macs for 6+ years if they didn’t expect people to keep them for that long!

Really usefull video! I've just turned Mac and bought a iMac and a new 12.7 2020 iPad pro to go with it. The problem is that you get no manual or anything useful with it, and if you're not used to Apple stuff, you're missing out on so many things. (Gone are the days of the Commadore 64 and it's 3 tonne manual!!) Thankfully, I found you,which is just what I needed. Many thanks.
