I fell like ridge is honestly the easiest part of the entire run unless you get pandemonium, the monsters do come often but 90% of the rooms are massive so you can stall them multiple times to figure out the layout and leave as fast as possible (while hoping you don’t get pandemonium)
You can just wait in the side room from the first card swipe door. Pand only spawns once in The Ridge. Once you survive a spawn of him, just be careful on where you hide. All anglers approach from the right side in split rooms. Every 30 - 48 seconds, an angler will spawn. Play it safe and time them as they pass you. Once you hit 25 seconds, return back to your original hiding spot. Consistently explore a room until you find a safe space or are willing to explore the next room. If you get a room with eyefestation, you can use his light to illuminate the room. Just stand by the doorway and use the beams of light he projects to see through the darkness. Carry medkits with you to insure you can heal yourself from inevitably losing health to squids while frantically searching a room. But most importantly, understand that RNG is king in lockerless runs. If you have bad room generation, you won’t win. If you mess up, don’t be worried. It’s much easier getting to The Ridge in a lockerless run than it is surviving The Ridge.
i beat lockerless a couple of days ago on my 5th ever attempt, probably the luckiest person ever to get lockerless lol (i got pande twice tho so idk how lucky i was)
6:35 anyone know why anglers go down the stairs in this room instead of progressing thru the main rooms?? ive died there once because i thought it was safe, but then angler went right for me and it was a total jumpscare lol

Honestly lockerless took me 3 hours to get, when i got it, i had around 60-70 deaths. Not gonna lie, i got insanely lucky, especially at the ridge (panda spawned once and not in the ridge). I nearly died like 3-6 times, those were really close calls and i got extremely lucky with the room spawn. It took me 3 hours from the moment when i started first time trying to do it (it took about 15-25 tried, i was restarting at first angler a lot)
What I would recommend is that you need to wait for pandemonium in the ridge on the first safe spot until he spawns, it helped get it on the first try lol.

Pandemonium only appears after floor 25 or 20 and only appears once, that’s all I know

he’s usually guaranteed at least once a run, but i’ve sometimes had instances where he did not appear whatsoever, even ridge. sorta rare i guess
