I’ve been lucky enough to own a couple of these wallets. I had an older folding phone wallet, but it didn’t hold up very well. The magnet ended up falling out of the leather. I liked it while I had it, but it left a little to be desired. The slim wallet is amazing. I’ve been using the same one for more than five years and it still looks and feels amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something small.
Nice! The Note Sleeve is still my favorite :) I have the blue one from Abt 2019 till now... has abit of nice patina :) I did look at the card sleeve too cus I have a thing for minimalism... but I hate to fold the cash so yea Note Sleeve all the way ... the only one that I would buy that is similar or same is the Harber London wallet
Thanks for pointing out the bill holders. Spend a lot of time in Vietnam and Thailand and being able to quickly access and put away cash is a must for me.
I’ve been eyeing the slim sleeve but now that I’ve seen this video, it just looks “cheap.” I know it’s designed to be thin and minimal but it just doesn’t look durable for its price.
I wish belroy made phone cases as protective as mous, I love their style but I have had one mous case since 4 years and it’s holding up great so I have no reason to change 😂 if they made a protective one I will probably consider it
I don’t use an AirTag but Ekster, Axwell, and Bellroy all have AirTag compatible wallets, and they are brands I trust. I recommend taking a look there :)
Good reviews, but with the phone case combined wallets, there's little need to carry cards around with you if you have a Google wallet, Apple or Samsung pay!! Most of these cards can be stored electronically on your phone 📱. As long as your power 🔋 stays on.
Kids who carry no cash can only go so far in this world. Out of the West many countries prefer cash and many of their businesses don't take cards. I guess if you're sticking to NA/Europe and some larger cities in other areas it works, but if you plan on hitting up Asia, the Caribbean, SA, Africa, etc you better have a wallet that can carry some cash. I'd probably take the hide and seek for most situations as cash is king even in this age. $100 goes farther than "I have a card" with most locals. For situations where I'm traveling with little cash then the Note Sleeve or Card Sleeve could be an option. Just personally I don't travel too often to places that only accept cards. Even some of my local restaurants are cash only in the States. Costs a business money to accept your credit card. If only the Mod wallets weren't iPhone specific nor do they still make anything for Note 20 Ultra. Tend to buy a high end phone and keep it 3-4 years before replacing and the idea of a one carry wallet/phone combo for concerts/sporting events would be great.
None, poor quality. All those money and they use NYLON as material for the inside? Premium leather? Bellroy can’t even identify the source of leather. Not to mention patina is also not impressive. 3 year warranty also explains that.
Hound valley goods, Lesbianedc, Rustic heirloom leather, Open sea leather, redeemed creations, Saddleback leather and Jekyll & Hyde are all great. Don't get me wrong Bellroy makes some cool looking stuff but for that kind of money I expect a company to stand behind there products longer than 3 years.

I always think of 007 when I look for what is best for me. functionality and elegance are the values!
dudeee same here, normally I look for functionality and my latest acquisition has it, I'm fascinated
ohhh sweet brother, what's his name?
Yess dude, it's called vionentus vn100 super minimalist with airtag slot and everything is just like a james bond movie
Good movies by Daniel Craig
95% chance this thread is all bots but I’ll keep it for the algo juice

love the Slim, such a great EDC wallet. Great to hear from you JC!

I like the Harber London wallet a lot
Thanks for pointing out the bill holders. Spend a lot of time in Vietnam and Thailand and being able to quickly access and put away cash is a must for me.
My pleasure! I spend a ton of time in Vietnam as well - love it there
I love the note sleeve. Its so soft and smells amazing. I look like a weirdo sniffing it so often.
nothing weird about it, they are weird for not sniffing it
i like when you say a different number than what is shown on the screen :D
My specialty

Totally get what you are saying, but looks can be deceiving. I’ve used it on and off for three years now - still works brilliantly
I’ve had a slim sleeve for 9 years now. Use it every day and it’s in amazing condition. Not a stitch dropped.
How to take care of these wallet? By using a mink oil or using beeswax?
Never used either so not sure. I’d recommend asking Bellroy customer support. Be sure to let us know what they say!
I wish belroy made phone cases as protective as mous, I love their style but I have had one mous case since 4 years and it’s holding up great so I have no reason to change 😂 if they made a protective one I will probably consider it
just curious though - how do you know their cases aren't as protective?
This looks so cool. I have Bellroy wallet for 1 year. Anyway, it would be a shame not to try Uniqtouch wallet lol
I'll be sure to check it out!
Aaron, I'd love some advice/video on what you feel are the best minimal wallets that utilize AirTags.
I don’t use an AirTag but Ekster, Axwell, and Bellroy all have AirTag compatible wallets, and they are brands I trust. I recommend taking a look there :)
手机壳钱包好实用,我已经很久没见过现金了基本都是手机支付。Mod Phone Case用来放卡太方便了
Agreed!
Which one is your favorite between the note sleeve and the hide and sick?
Note bc it’s thinner
I'm really curious about their Apex wallet and passport holder. 🤔
me too! Hope to review them soon
I like the idea of cash in a phone case in case you lose your wallet.
its a nice insurance plan for sure. I always put an emergency $100 bill in the back of my phone case, even if I'm not using a phone/wallet combo
I’ve got much bigger problems if I lose my wallet than access to cash 😅
I would hardly care about the cash if I lost my wallet. It's mostly the docs / cards 😅
I saw that at 1:20 😂
Oh yea, I’m a butter fingers lol
@@Nomads.Nation great video!
Can I get a free speed mini wallet for my birthday?
hopefully!
@@Nomads.Nation If you could help..
1:20 you totally dropped the wallet there and you surely thought nobody would notice 🤣
Yup I’m a clumsy dude lol
I feel that the phone wallets have had its day, now that you can use the phone itself for contactless credit card payments
100% agree, times change fast
Nice watch
Cheers!

100% agreed, this is the direction I'm starting to lean towards. Although it's nice to also be able to carry your license and a backup card in case
Designed in Australia BUT made in India!
correct!

true story lol

Their warranty is def a source of frustration in the community
Sorry but a 3 year warranty on a leather product is crap! For the money there a lot of small companies making much better products.
good to know! any suggestions in particular?

@@jefftimmerman8192 can't argue with that logic - and thanks for the recommendations
Terrible customer support
Thanks for the heads up, although I will say I’ve never heard that before
What's this "dad esque" bullshit in every one of your videos? it makes no sense, a nice leather wallet doesnt mean it's a "dad wallet" lol.
preach brother preach
Ridiculously overpriced
def not cheap, but I'm not sure about overpriced
