I don't know why so many people had a problem with disco. This tune is fire. I would love to go out dancing to this type of music.
Keep your self happy
It got cleverly rebranded in hip-hop with a slightly different sound, and now it's topping charts.
Loved it as a kid in the 70s.
I totally agree!
@@lashid4u371 This particular song is a disco tune. I'd say the majority of their catalog falls in the funk/soul/r&b genres.
👇🏾People who listening to this in 2024
My favorite song of theirs “Aint nothing wrong” !!
Me in Tampa Bay FL, l❤ it
@@taylorl7368 frl this my jam I was born 2011

I'm listening in 2024 from Seminary Mississippi ❤
No joke, the 70s just had another aura about it. The music, vibes, fashion, etc. Anyways, this song never fails to put me in a good mood especially after a bad day!
My favourite decade is the 80's
Not really, the 70s had disco and he was a biggie. But compared to this new century he was a "god" he msic was good
It's called cocaine.
My favourite decade is the 70s Im from Mexico and It was the best time in my life. I love the 70s
@@terryg995 Fun fact: KC wasn't entirely pleased with the disco label since his music was essentially R&B.
This video should be preserved as a cultural heritage item.
I LOVE THIS MUSIC! DIDN'T MATTER IF YOU WERE BLACK OR WHITE! THIS WAS GREAT MUSIC!!! I MISS THOSE DAYS!!!!!!
The spirit of Disco needs to come back Now. This is the medicine the world so desperately needs.
I’ve been saying the same thing for while, I am actually looking for locations ......
That would be great but how are ya gonna do it when you don't exist, Rollo? ;)
Agree
Yes!!!
Nobody now comes close to the bands or the fun the 70's were !
With 5 mumber 1 hits and countless number of other great songs, it's hard to believe that Kc & the Sunshine band is not in the hall of fame
That is very true! Somebody should ask that to board of directors. 👍🏼
Look at the smile on everyone’s faces enjoying playing this song together.
It's an energy I would really love to see again. Why ever did these simple love songs fall so easily out of line, they're all about cheating and bad stuff now it seems
@@randompog8493: Well said - THANK YOU!!!
This is one of THE great songs of the 70s
And so was, "I'm your Boogie Man!"
KC and the Sunshine Band had the 70s and 80s, BY THE HORNS.
They owned it.
His music has some magic in it. Every time one of his tunes comes up people get happy and start to smile. Not a lot of songs have that ability to do that to people.
There's no other band who transmits more happiness and joy of life than this one.
Subscribed.
They all look like they are honestly having a great time! Naturally fun and happy. I miss those days.
@@drk9011YES!!!
I disliked most of disco; but these guys were just fun music. How could anyone dislike them is beyond me.
Isn't it magical when just hearing a song can instantly open a floodgate of wonderful memories from an earlier time?
In my case, my brother played disco, pop in the 80s and I listen to it as a kid. He has good taste. Time for some Evelyene Champain.
KC and the Sunshine Boat. Grade six year end camp circa 1977
Look at How Happy ppl were in the 70's.... *I miss those days~!*
(sigh)
They had so many great songs, it's unbelievable.
This guy was so smart. He worked in a record store and when people came in and asked the name of the song and hummed a few bars they might be able to find it. So you will notice in every song he repeats the title 10000 times. Brilliant. 100 million records sold. Genius
Disco was great
My 4 year old whos a non verbal austic boy LOVES your music ive never seen him move like this😂😂 this music relaxes him and he has learned every instrument ❤
KC and the Sunshine Band always puts me in a good mood. Love everything about this band.
I feel the same way! 😊
Thank you KC and Band for making my youth a pleasant one! TIMELESS!!! 😘
That horn section is so energetic
At the height of disco, these guys literally defined the genre.
Truth 🤙
Crossover Kings! We loved KC&SB!❤
Kc marcou época com ritmo e embalo unicamente inconfundível . Até hoje traz alegria contagiante em nossos corações ......Suas letras são simples o suficiente, para que junto com a melodia, provoque sentimentos maravilhosos em nossas mentes
@@ClaudioReisLabrea-me1xj english you foreigner, this is america!

I don't care what other people say disco forever❤. I love KC and the Sunshine band and The Commodores all that stuff
Right on! One of my favorites..the
world needs this music more than ever!❤❤❤
I was 7 when this song came out. My oldest sister was 23 and I remember that I would dance with her while she was getting ready to go out dancing with her friends, or on a date..... Seems like it was just yesterday......love you Ruby 😘
Nice memories huh they were amazing
Eu estou aqui em pleno 2024, curtindo este clássico!😍❤
I love those background singers and they way they're groovin' ❤🔥
Such an underrated artist. The groves, horns and hit songs. Should be in RRHOF. Go KC.
You need to look up the word underrated. And stop using words you don’t know the meaning of. They were one of the biggest acts of the 70’s.
@@user-lo9cp2kr7s”Underrated” has become such a buzzword and is used incorrectly 90% of the time. Almost every single video of any artist has comments calling them “underrated” regardless of their achievements or accolades. 😆
Happy 73rd Birthday Harry Wayne Casey!(Born January 31, 1951)😃🥳🎂🎉🎊🎈🎁🍾🥂👍👏🙌
Wow I can't believe it
Born in ‘51 as was I. He’s a bit more talented, though…
Just a bunch of people having fun. Those were the days...
Just b4 the whole AIDS, opioides & Trump thing.
You're looking backwards in time. Time is an illusion. Find happiness from within. good l==ckkkkkkk
Let's not forget the cocaine!
Trump? The least of anyone's problems. Replace Donald Trump on your list with big mainstream media. There's one of today's culprits.
Amen Scott! Not like today, some groups of people always looking for faults, looking for things to be offended by, looking to be a victim, doing identity politics and political correctness and virtue signalling. They just can't be real, can't relax and enjoy. Ugh.
Fantastic! 💖
This was roller skating music!!
Back when times were much simpler.
Always LOVED this group, even as a kid in the 1970s! 👍
FABULOUS!!!
Disco is so cheery in this dark world we are now in.These songs come from gentler times.
Look at us now. 70’s and 80’s not so bad after all!
Millennials and GenZ'ers watch this and can't understand it. It's too happy and sounds too good for them to comprehend.
I am a millennial but I did grow up listening to this type of music, my parents raised me well
Just found this, is this what pop sounded like before the corporatization of music? It’s amazing
Some music is made to listen to, KC's and his Sunshine band was made to watch.
this song is great
KC's Music, he made back in the 70's....WAS THAT FEEL GOOD MUSIC.
Tails with no shirts, AWSOME!!!!
The horns though.....😎👌❤️
Many people need this love and attitude
I remember my Mom literally playing this song on a 8 track in her 72 Charger when I was like 7 😃
Handsome KC!!!
He certainly holds to his convictions of making happy music.Wants everyone to have a good time
Great to see black and white singers together and produce awesome music.
Back in the 70s it was the norm
That was very common.
Prince and the Revolution
This band is so darn infectious, I can’t stop dancing to this song, every one of their songs was a huge hit! Whew, what’s not to LOVE!! 🎉🎉🎉
I Remember When this came out in 1977, and i was 16 years old and had just gotten my drivers license. That was a very special time in my life. And Watching The 1st. season of Three's Company. Still to this day my favorite 1970s and 1980s sitcom.
Keep it coming love was one of my favorites for dancing on a disco. There were some songs that I liked and I remember as fun and happy for dancing. 😅
Grew up in the 70's with KC's music.
I had a flat tire, had my morning paper stolen, my wife filed for divorce and this song came on the radio! And guess what..I sang along!!! Beautiful song from KC!
Hang in there
That right! Keep that indomitable spirit!
Priceless!!!
Music has always been there for me and it will lift you up and take you to a better place!
MJR how many people are there in this group, still? Are they still rolling.?
K.C., is the favourite dancing song group for me.....!!! Love he/ the this famous group until know ( I'm 65 years old....) and K.C. is my music youth... Thank's forever and a day!!!!! Love you and your amazing music forever!!!!!!! Thank's for ever and eternity........😁👍👍👍👍👍
The 70's were the BEST. I was just a kid but man were we happy! And the music was soooo good.
If I owned a music channel on TV I'd have been playin' all this 24/7 for the rest of my days.
Very few bands ever had as much SOUL as KC and the Sunshine band.
Love KC and The Sunshine Band....Love all their tunes...Brings back good memories....♥️
Debbie this band great for NYC
The seventies best time of my life
Lord, I miss this kind of music!
What an awesome song. Makes me smile and drift back to the Disco era. Magical for sure.
So handsome and such talent!
Disco made everybody happy and want to get up and dance, and we did! I wish I can say that for today’s music, which seems to make young people angry and isolated. I’m glad I was alive to enjoy it when it was all brand new to us😊
Yes!!!
Imagine taking time to trash another generation's music while extolling the togetherness of your own music
Disco was too positive so the industry killed it off.
20 years later you had depressive violent stuiff like
grunge and gangster rap ..
Disco was hated, too gay, too black, too joyful.
Cheers Mario it was no doubt the best time to be a young one, fond memories. I really feel for the young kids today.
they truly live up to their band name. sunshine and rainbows all around!
I loved this Diso classic when I was a kid. But im sure Contact came out in 78 or 79.
KC known he was one good looking man❤😍
That big smile
This brings back so many good memories!!❤❤❤❤ Oh to be young again!!!
Listening to KC brings back so many good memories!
KC and the sunshine band my favorite from the 70's
The horns make this band!!
And the are crazy in this video!
If you are under 50 and do not really remember the 70s... This is about as 70s as it gets.
How great it was. We were immortal.
If you are under 50nand are curious about the 70's or any decade of music, I urge you to study. You won't be disappointed.
The 70s was the best decade . This music was my childhood
I totally embraced the disco scene back in the 70s. Hated to see it end
I feel as though I have severely missed out on a real high point in music and culture😢😂 The 70s looks like a whole vibe❤
Love that brass section! Memories
My dad was a man of the 70's im 30 this is love and fire!
This song is pure joy. If U can sit still through this, check your pulse.
Right?
Amen.. those are the people you purposely avoid
This is when music was music!!!
💃🏻🕺🏻💕
Funny. It hits me as extremely nostalgic and blue. I know its a dancing song, but It really makes me feel sad. I guess it reminds me that I lost the love of my life and I wish I could say keep it coming, love to him once again.
I love it!💪😎👍🎸
One of my favorite ❤❤❤
THIS IS REAL MUSIC.
CLASSIC FOREVER.
FANTASTIC SINGER.
