The dance moms cast had 2 reunions this week! Nia, Brooke, Chloe Lukasiak, Paige, Kendall and the moms all went to Maddie & Mackenzie's house to celebrate Paige's birthday. The next day, Brooke, Paige, Kendall met up with Kalani and Jojo and the moms to film the dance moms reunion coming in 2024. However, Kendall shaded Maddie and Mackenzie for not being there and caused quite a lot of drama. What do you guys think?

Not at all surprised by Kendall. She’s always been the “mean girl” on the team and has thrown shade at so many other people that appeared on the show. Sad that she can’t respect Maddie and McKenzie not wanting to relive that trauma. Jill enables it too🙄

if they don't want to relive what they went through that's their choice. everyone handles trauma differently and if they feel it's best for them not to relive dance moms then they can do that. leave them alone and let them live their lives. kendall needs to get a grip and mind her own business.

I don't think it's Maddie and Kenzie thinking that they're too good for the show anymore. I can completely understand not wanting to go back to something that was so toxic. The girls probably already suffered from post-traumatic stress and anxiety disorders from what happened. Going back and reopening those old wounds wouldn't do either of them any good.
It's over they're healing from it. If they don't want to be there respect that decision.
Their choice for sure. I think a private get together, just the girls, might have been nice. Not everyone was at Paige's B-Day party -- and there may have been private reasons for that, too. Maybe Jojo had work and wanted to make the Official reunion and declined. But gossip like this site start drama because they DO NOT have the real inside reasons. They like the "drama" to increase traffic to their site. These girls will work it out, their fine without the publics advice or negative comments. Someone gossiped to Melissa and now she appears to be upset with Kendall. UGH.

I’m not surprised that Kendall liked a shading comment. She was known for being rude never liked her or Jill on dance moms. But please don't go hate on maddie some of y’all don't know what's going on in her head she didn't attend oh well 🤷🏽♀️
Honestly I never really liked Jill on dance moms but I genuinely thought Kendall was a good kid. Idk tbh.

@@Alivzxs Agreed. I always just remembered that they were going through a lot and that can form jealousy at times but shes,what 22?? I'm not 100% sure but I knoe shes an adult and its damn well time she acts like one. Maddie and Kenzie may have been favorited but that creates a lot of stress, Maddie always thought she had to be perfect and that caused a lot of trauma for her. Kendall is in the wrong here.
They showed up for Paige birthday, some people don't want to relive past trauma. That was a platform used by the Ziegler's they don't need it anymore. Its not about thinking you're too good they've moved on to bigger and better things. Sucks for others who didnt or couldn't do the same. Now who's the next MADDIE!!! 😂 PERIOD

I wouldn't be surprised if Kendall harbours some jealousy towards Maddie. Objectively, Maddie was always a better dancer than Kendall was on the show (yes, even her turns were better than Kendall's) and Maddie is still doing much better for herself outside of the show now, since she's had more opportunities in the entertainment industry.
With all that aside, I'm glad they still showed up for Paige's birthday celebration. Despite what Abby and the show did to them they still value all their friendships with the other girls, and that's great to see.

honestly ion think maddie ,kenzie, and nia think theyre too good for meeting up w the girls, i think they j dont wanna relive their past trauma. like dance moms was so traumatic for all three of them bc maddie was always pressured to be the best, kenzie was pressured to be like maddie, and nia was always the underdog. They all showed up for paige's bday and thats good enough,, we shouldnt be hating on them for their choices of not reliving past trauma. kendall on the other hand needs to grow up and stop shading everyone for the purpose of drama.

My opinion: they were advised it wasn't good for their brands to go back to being associated with reality TV. Maddie has a new movie coming out and Kenzie is trying to become a mainstream artist. Do i agree with their thought process/decision? No. Kenzies YT videos are down because she doesn't have as strong of a following. But it's not my decision.
That's true and it makes sense, they are trying to have a serious career in the industry, being associated with a tacky little reality show is not what they want people to know.

Seriously, I think people really need to calm down and stop overestimating things. Kendall didn't "shade Maddie" she simply liked a comment. Nobody knows with what intention she did that. Obviously the girls were all together the day before so they are apparently good enough friends to be in the same room together. Maybe Kendall just thought it was a funny comment without meaning anything by it or without even thinking about what people might make out of her liking it. We don't even know if the person who wrote the comment meant it in a mean way, they might have just been joking. Also, Kenzie didn't respond to Kendall or the comment like the title suggests, she responded to the question of why they are not in the reunion. But I get it, when it comes to famous people the audience wants drama around every corner, that's the reason reality shows like Dance Moms exist and are successfull anyway.

It’s their choice what they want to do. And I’m kind of happy they’ve made it.
Too many of the cast members talk about how it was the worst years of their life, and it ruined them. But they go running back as soon as they get the opportunity. I understand that Abby was a big factor, but production is the same. The same producers that encouraged and allowed abby to behave that way. The same production team that blackmailed the moms into verbally abusing kids. The same company that had the cast sign 6 year contracts that they claim to have struggled to break.
I think what’s really happening is that these girls became adults, and realised that picking a more quiet life as teens, made them irrelevant on social media. So now they’re desperately trying with tiktok and podcasts to make themselves known again (so they don’t run out of money). Which is fine I respect the hustle. I also think some other cast member/s are very naive and forgiving. I don’t think they see the danger in what they’re doing, and genuinely believe it will be different this time (it might be, but it’s still a risk).
Kenzie peaked after the show, so if she wanted to go back to her peak popularity she wouldn’t need dance moms. I think she’s waiting for her big break through into the music industry, and it’ll come. Anatomy was close, but it wasn’t quite enough.
I think maddies trying to live the life of an a-lister, she just isn’t quite there. She needs a main role in a hit movie, which I think she’s working on achieving. A reunion won’t help her at all because it’s casting directors she needs to impress not fans.
Nia is incredibly smart, calculated and forward thinking. Her choosing not to get involved says a lot. Especially when considering that she has a great relationship with pretty much all the cast members, if it was just to meet old friends and share happy memories she would 100% go.

I have been watching this show since the very beginning, and I guess Abby's right everyone is replaceable because I completely forgot that Brooke and Paige even existed... I almost forgot Chloe too. Nia Maddie Kenzie and Kendall are my solid go to girls. I was happy with Jojo and kalani but they'll always be Abby Lee's ultimate dance competition contestants to me

Anybody else not surprised that Kendall is still that that mean girl and kind of the Regina George all I'm saying is Kendall looks like one of those girls no one should trust and like to play the victim and also I don't really think some of the girls on the actual original team really like Kendall to be honest cuz I think a lot of them are just trying to play face and politic just because they may have to work with one another. Without any further explanation, it does look like Maddie and McKenzie feel they are above this now . When Jo Jo, who is more successful than both of them goes along, it makes Maddie and McKenzie look even worse. Humility is a very attractive quality. Makes me think of Meghan Markle social climbing and dumping her friends when she feels they are now beneath her. And then I just dont feel that I like them anymore. However, I guess its not fair to jump to conclusions without getting Maddie and McKenzie's explanation.
Let’s be real for a second, I know it’s mainly Abby’s fault, but Maddie, Mackenzie, & Melissa were the root of the drama. Not so much Maddie & Mackenzie, but Abby & Melissa’s relationship made life difficult for those girls. Now, did they get a lot out of it? Sure, but look what it cost them? I don’t know why any of them would want to go back and relive that nonsense. Sure a few of the girls and moms are, maybe, attention whores, and doing it for their brand. But I wouldn’t want to go back, and reopen old wounds. Sometimes, it’s better off letting sleeping dogs lie.
I know they were kids but the only thing i agree with Abby is that Maddie really doesn't have a lot to complain about yes she had to deal with pressure being Abby's favorite but compared to the others at least she had Abby supporting and lifting her up inside of trying to break her like she did with Paige, Chloe, and Nia. And now finding out from Abby that she learned the group dance before everyone else really makes me not feel sorry for her. Kenzie and Nia i can see why they don't want to be apart of it, but i wish Nia would make an appearance.
You don't understand the pressure that Maddie as an 8 year old was under. Abby tried to take everything away from her, like her friends. Abby only cared about her being first and that constant pressure is torture.
So are we forgetting that Abby: sexually assaulted Maddie, body shamed her stomach, made fun of her teeth, said her acting is bad, manipulated her by yelling at her to be the best, gaslighting into turning on her mom by “crying” in front of her, the lost can go on
