just picked up an 09 Fz1 out of Massachusetts. It also is made into a naked version. And it also has very similar dent on the right upper gas tank as yours. must be a common crash point on these and the reason why they get made into naked versions L O L
Ain’t nothing against what you did there. It’s a good and inexpensive slip on project. But I’ve been reading and watching other exhaust videos and most are saying all you have to do is disconnect exup cables . I will go back and rewatch. Maybe I got that wrong, I want to make sure I got the process correct for when I do this this coming spring.
@Vic Soboleski I just got rid of the cables, just didn't want them on the bike anymore. Both ways work. The bike wasn't crashed unfortunately it fell over on the trailer home :(
@@MoswenMedia oh yeah I meant take off cables and no connector pipe …but I was wrong ….the guy “buel ….” Something (can’t recall buell what ) put a pipe and slip on , he also drilled the honeycomb cat in pipe before the the attachment pipe and pulled out all that mesh-like stuff … I imagine that’s not too legal but def would help in the hp department …I imagine you’d need to get the ecu updated to really increase power after that but I don’t know . Yeah my 09 looks like it was a either very very slow speed lay down or it fell and slightly scraped in that same spot ….I’d add a pic if it’s possible ..?.? I don’t even know lol
@Vic Soboleski You don't have to delete the cat (honeycomb mesh), its not a huge difference. I did it, and it wasn't noticeable in noise or power, just shoots bigger flames now. I would absolutely suggest getting it flashed by Ivan tho, transformed the bike.
Gotta love those pops and crackles

Hey man what year model is this? Wondering where you got the front light and turn signals from
2007. No idea, bought the bike that way.
