I took the cap off and drilled four holes ground out the outside of the main pipe that comes through the cover stuck a Sawzall down in it and cut it off and then cleaned up the edges so there's a giant hole, spray painted it so it looks clean underneath, put the cap back on.... done... thank you Ronaldo I appreciate your comment on this so I could spin my own ideas on it :-)
Same thing, is to simply remove the muffler and get a coffman or gp shorty pipe. This will lean the bike quite a bit but you will be cool if you do not exceed 220 degrees F.
Heyyy so I'm trying this on my fz8. was it easy for you to get through the inner metal? I can cut through the outer metal easy, but the inside is hard as F*c&
Well i dont have this can anymore but it doesnt really get to its value. Delkevic 14inch can is thebcheapest and gruntier exhaust you can have on the fz1... Its also pretty lite. Not to expensive either.
Why there is no smoke coming out and where is that high pitch engine sound of FZ1 gone? Also wheel is not spinning while accelerating. Are you full of bullshit?
Retronaut ... no I'm not bs... here ... if you got smoke coming out of your exhaust...maybe there is something wrong with your engine... I will make another video.. just for you of bike running and will put it in gear .. so you can see spinning wheel as you wish...
I used your idea but in a simpler way, I removed the lid and made two holes and got the same result. Thanks for the video.
Can you send a picture where you made the holes
Jacob John
Yes. Me send me your e-mail. My: elias.ronaldo@gmail.com
Ronaldo Elias Hi Ronaldo. can you send me the pictures as well?
Ronaldo Elias Hi Ronaldo, I tried what you suggested. But making the holes alone made no difference.
Hi, could you send me my photos too? mariant1507@gmail.com Thank you

Do we need re-map after modified like this bro ?
what a sound difference. that now sounds awsome!
Did you put the exhaust cables back on? When riding bike does it backfire any when letting off gas?
Just curious.
Yeah, it backfires alot
thanks, I drilled my end cap several times with 1 inch bit. It sounds real good with no backfire. Ran the rpms up let off sounds good.
yeah I did exactly what this guy did, but I ended up just buying a Yoshi, its like 20 pounds lighter for sure!

Just trash that heavy thing and buy a danmoto for 200 bucks.
