Check out for air leaks, on exhaust where it goes to cylinder, and also from rubber seals at intake. Put bike running on idle and spray flammable gas on gaskets on intake, if revs go up you have leak, on the exhaust , just check it is fully torqued and gasket is good.
Thanks for posting this video, I was about to buy the slip on (actually 2 of them) that you showed being discolored. Found an alternative, real carbon fiber in dimensions that work. God bless you.
The discoloration is normal because it is cheap vinyl and not even near being good carbon vinyl. But speaking from experience, the real carbon fibre ones no issues until you try to mess with it.
1hp less then a real akrapovic? or stock? cause depends on the bikes akrapovic fake ones makes less power.. on my 450cc quad the oem pipe gave me 134kmh and the akra that the owner put on it when i bought it it only went up to 122kmh and LOUD AF lucky it was done good so i simply swapped stock one back on, on my hyosung 450 quad that was pretty loud already way better sound then the fake akra... worst part is my mate sold it and 1 year later i saw the back for sale again the dude who got it PUT A fake akra povic on it again... WTF loved his ad it said goes to 120kmh yes you clown put the stock exhaust on it and it will go faster... i dont know why people want to put the fake akra on every thing when the stock exhaust already was a free flow and loud AF but nope gotta put a stupid akra on, i do it also on quad but those who have OEM catalyc heavy crap exhaust for emissions overal it just depends what bike what CC and how its made, some will gain power from a cheap akra povic some will lose power at top.

people look at a exhaust and say "it looks really good it must be good" but forget about all the specs an exhaust has to have on the interior to be a good exhaust, some of these exhausts from china might look good but they might as well be a tin can in terms of being a good exhaust, they also don't have in mind these shitty universal exhausts are not goof for your bike, buy an exhaust made for your bike, cause the mm of the inner part of the exhaust affect how your engine works in terms of compression and air exhaustion flow, so forget about saying "hey does the same as a yoshimura but a lot cheaper" the more expensive ones are more expensive for a reason, you pay what you get
Don't forget that all major exhaust manufacturers, including yoshi and akra, they too only have like a couple of different exhausts in specs and just adapt the linkpipe. They just dont make any muffler specific per bike. The manifolds, they do, howerver.

For $40 you can just buy 5 of them and swap them out when it changes color. Someone did a dyno comparison and the fake one only made 1 hp less

Those discoloured sections are hot spots. Exhausts made with inferior parts could catch fire or just burn through onto your bike.

The only issue with eBay exhausts is the chinese don't test for exhaust backpressure. Backpressure can cause landing rings or worse, spin a bearing.
