    Great video, and great video quality also! Just finished shovelling 5” of snow from the driveway and back deck here in Kingston Ontario Canada. Oh well, I’ll just have to ride vicariously through you.

    Happy New Year. Definately No walk of shame there, that was a perfectly orchestrated Ghostie up that hill 😅. Some great tracks there. Thanks for the video. Cheers. 💪

    You guys always look like you're having fun, the weather looks great, we have been enjoying a mild winter in the PNW around sea level for an extended woods riding season.

      Indeed, the Gopro super wide angle view flattens everything. I've taken quite a few people out for rides for the first time, who have watched my videos and they've been very surprised at the terrain! LOL

    What camera and mount are you using. They are working great.

      The camera is a GoPro Hero 11 mounted on my helmet under the visor. Mount is the same as shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/DHk75INq3Rg/видео.htmlsi=JzE7-8wKO9jsXZ32

    Quick question, how does the bike run now that you’ve converted to premix? Does the mapping of the engine need to be changed as well or will it run just fine how it is? Asking just because I’m wondering if the ECU is set up differently than the XC bikes since it came with oil injection

      After watching Tokyo Off-road's (Mark) video I made the change on my 2024 300 XCW and the bike runs exactly like it did before I converted it to premix. No worries about an oil pump going out, etc. now.

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  6 месяцев назад +2

      My bike is running well on premix. I'm still using the stock EXC/XC-W ECU tune. If anything I think its running better than when it had oil injection. I use 60:1 premix (high octane pump gasoline and Motorex Crosspower 2T) which compared to using oil injection will result in a mixture which is 1.6% leaner. My bike still feels like it's a little on the rich side so I don't have any concerns. Regarding a comparison to the XC, the ECU, cylinder porting, head and flywheel are all different. I have no hesitation in recommending switching the premix on a 2024 EXC/XC-W. For me it's one less thing to worry about...

    Will you guys rent a bike and some gear? I am going to be there next month and I am trying to find a spot to rent a bike and some gear but I am having a hard time. Hit me up, I will be around Tokyo/Chiba.

    How’s the 2023 versus 2024???

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  6 месяцев назад +1

      The 2023 300 EXC/XC-W was TPI, the 2024 300 EXC /XC-W is TBI. The engine feels quite different, especially the low rpm torque (TBI lugs very well, TPI not so much). Also the suspension has changed significantly. The 2023 was open cartridge fork, 2024 closed chamber. The 2024 stock suspension works well, 2023 not so much. I prefer the 2024 TBI...

      Hi there! Yes, Last year the Japan hard enduro series was called GNET. From 2024 the name and organization team has changed to Cross Mission. Race details of the 2024 Japan hard enduro season can be found here: ren-x-mission.com/post-categories/cross-mission-%E3%83%8F%E3%83%BC%E3%83%89%E3%82%A8%E3%83%B3%E3%83%87%E3%83%A5%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AD
      I have entered the March 10 race at the Kegon course (located about one hour from Tokyo).

      @TokyoOffroad Great 👍
      5 of our crew are so much interested in joining this race this March.
      Is there any service provider which rents KTM, HUSQ or GASGAS and helps us to register the race?

    • @bradspm9at
      @bradspm9at 6 месяцев назад

      Had some friends from HK who rented bikes. Have sent them a message asking where from. If you contact Ren Ishidoya from Cross Mission he may know someone. You could also bring your own bikes on the ferry from Busan to Fukuoka and do the race at Hiroshima later around late October. Phil.

      Maybe I need to contact Ren first if they have available 🤔

      @@charlesinvan7275 - Yes, reach out to Ren Ishidoya (Ren Ishidoya on FaceBook) for sure. He is the organizer of the race and may be able to introduce you to someone who can rent bikes.
