I think this may be one of Judith's finest solo performances from the 90's...so poignant, so moving...

Does anyone know all the lyrics? My hearing isn't what it was and I'd love to know all the words. Absolutely beautiful ❤

She has a wonderful voice and the sense to sing great songs instead of trying to compose her own songs.

I like hearing both. She does have some beautiful original work that I cherish.

She has composed a number of great songs. I believe this was written by Tom Pringfield,,bless him.

You're absolutely right and one of my favourites is ''It's Hard to Leave'' (1994). When she sings it in this video, there is wonderful radiance that seems to emanate from deep within. She is a precious soul.

Common thread here......Originally sung in 1968 by Jose Feliciano and produced by Tom Springfield, the third Seeker.

Tom Springfield was the 5th Seeker...silly me!

Bruce Woodley saidTom Springfield actually offered this song to the Seekers first but Judith Durham turned it down as she didn’t like songs with titles in foreign languages.

"Judith Durham and The Seekers?" - Nah. I'll stick with Athol Guy, Keith Potger and Bruce Woodley and the woman that sang with them for a bit. (Until she felt she was a "star")

You mean she didn’t know what the odds were against her when she quit the Seekers.
