Specs don't mean much nowadays compared to real world use apart from games (which I don't on phone). So for me the advantages of having the best camera on any phone (mkbhd blind camera test top 3 winners were pixels), as well as clean and smooth software with getting first android updates heavily outweigh any downsides it may have. And I haven't seen any performance issues on my 7 pro so I'm very happy

Despite having a power hungry chipset Vivo has done great job at 2nd place. Vivo and OnePlus have the bigger capacity battery 🔋 but still for me Vivo would be my choice because of it's unmatched camera performance.
thankfully I live in UK and can use the call assist features on Pixel 7 pro as well as pixel exclusive features. As MKBHD said, we as way past the age of benchmarks, hell even the 8a runs smoother and opens apps quicker than Oneplus Open (many videos comparing speeds). I love pixels camera out of all phones and i think its worth it at least in UK. Idk about india since I dont live there
In India, the Ambient temperature remains on Average around 31⁰C throughout the year and Pixels heat like hell. Pixels have no cooling solution like Vapour Chamber other than Graphite sheets.

Try to do these tests with all your social media and banking apps on the phone and with mobile data turned on I think that will give a more accurate insight into battery life
