    1984 USO. Super Saturday Navratilova def Evert-Lloyd 4-6, 6-4, 6-4... Please view that match. Never had New York cheered so LOUDLY for Chris Evert. Such a suspenseful 😮match

    I admire King so much . When Chrissy came along all of the women resented the fact she got all of the attention . King still winning slam events told them to pipe down and be grateful because Chris was putting money in their pockets . The tennis boom happened because Chris drew the crowd to tennis .

      Only when they were old and injured. Even then it was 9-9 with Martina and 7-6 with Chris. Graf would be a footnote if Seles wasn’t stabbed

      Graf got lucky with Monica Sele's retiring for 2.5 years after this stabbing at her peak. She wouldn't have won as many slams if Seles wasn't stabbed.

      Nope- different era different time . When Graf was number one Martina was old . The Graf of 88 would’ve lost to the Martina of 84,85. Martina’s serve was unreturnable then

    Watched until she had to go there, “gender equality”. Turned it off right then.
