- MOORESVILLE MAYHEM OFFICIAL EVENT ADD:
The only SEGA event on tour with it’s own name, MOORESVILLE MAYHEM!!!! The local traditional car club, the Junk Yard Saints properly gave the event a name in 2018 and it has stuck! The Saints roll deep with classics and traditional hot rods, so make sure you come be a part of the largest car coral on the SEGA tour.
We certainly welcome NAPA to Mooresville this year! There is no better fit with the SEGA than our local NAPA stores, and we’re proud to have them as our event sponsor.
The historic Mooresville Dragway is settled deep in the heart of “Race City USA” Mooresville, NC. A city rich in NASCAR history and technology. Pick up a local tour map of race shops, and enjoy a complete gear head weekend!
The second annual Mooresville Mayhem is right around the corner! If you were there last year, then you know what a special event this was, and 2019 will be bigger and better! Expect to see the SEGA Stars in record numbers of A,B,&C/Gas... Also Super Stock and A/FX competition! So, bring a friend, bring the family, bring your car club!!! MOORESVILLE MAYHEM 2019 is sure to pack the house on August 17 at Mooresville Dragway!!! - Развлечения
Nothing like seeing a Rambler win !!
I love it.
Old school gassers, the ultimate cool. Just wish we could hear some winning times. Love the 3rd gear wheelies.
Us too!
Re Tim Hall taking the Trophy in his C/Gas Rambler, Thank YOU for remembering to mention his missing two races because of his committment to either the Reserves or his States National Guard. We certainly know of those committments to America's Freedom via our Reserves and National Guard, FREEDOM AIN'T FREE folks, it just ain't. GOD Bless and Keep SAFE America's Military.
Start with a prayer and end with one... safe and great race! WillyB
Thank y’all for bringing us the most exciting racing there is. Take care and God Bless
I love how you made the comment how the old timers called NAPA N.A.P.A. That's how my grandfather and great grandfather said it !
Thank you for sharing this great race. I appreciate the interviews being reduced down to where you have it. Perfection.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!! AWESOME VIDEO!!!!! I LOVE MY HOT ROD FAMILY!!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!
Well Quain, you're a man of your word..! You told me the coverage of the racing would improve. Boy did it. Video, Audio, and Content were 100% better. One little aside. The finish line camera was not aligned exactly with the track finish line. It was also to close (or zoomed in too much) to make Finish Line camera shots as informative and exciting as they can be..!!! Oh Yea........GREAT RACE...!!!
Thanks Brian and I think it will get better with time.
Love it been jonesin. Kids chose beach over gassers that weekend

If you guys got together with Funny Car Chaos that would be an absolutely amazing
Rob we don't do tag along shows but your right it would be a great show with the two together. Their Funny Car show is pretty good.
@@SoutheastGassersAssociation Thanks for the reply . I think y'all's show is fantastic . I've been through the shredder last few years , still got 2 more surgeries to go . My bucket list is to ride a motorcycle to every SEGA event in a season (God willing).
@@shatteredone6127 That would be really cool to make every race on a Motorcycle, nobody has done that as far as I know.
I'm saying this as a southerner myself (Virginia), it kills me that southerners pronounce Willy's as Willis.
LOL I'll get him to work on that.
Gene Fulton?
Gene builds several of the engines in the SEGA.
@@SoutheastGassersAssociation , What happened to the car he built for competition?
@@MudtoyTT it didn't work out as he planned.
Any "JUST RACIN'" videos without all the talkin'? It's understandable to announce all the drivers and such, but I like to just watch and listen to the cars run. Thanks.
Yea we have some but they never get enough views to bother posting them. I'll dig up some and post a link to them. t's hard to get people into the videos if they don't know whats going on.
Below is a link to one with no talking, this guy has tons of video with no talking. A lot of Southeast Gassers there you will have to dig through to find the ones on the gassers. Also notice less than 400 views on most of the ones with no sound almost 30,000 views on the video here with the announcer being heard.

@@SoutheastGassersAssociation Thank you very much! I built my own Gasser last year (1962 Rambler Classic) but I can't run with you guys because it has a 400th automatic in it. I know you folks have strict rules about that but I got invited to run with the Straight Axle Mafia in Kentucky. Nice group of guys there too.
@@ragincajun2263 yes most of them are very nice guys and if you don't mind breakout racing it's a good place to race. I have several friends that run with that group.
~Quain Stott~
@@SoutheastGassersAssociation well my friend, that's the only kind of racing I've ever done. All we have locally within a reasonable driving distance is a very old 1/8 mile drag strip. Raced there on and off since 1982. I'm 56 and it's been there as long as I can remember. I know you know this but bracket racing is for poor boys like me. I wish I could afford to run heads up 1/4 mile racing. Anyways, thanks again for the video. Loved it!
