I hear your brother controlled environment is everything these days about 20 years ago I lived in Kansas City Missouri 5 minutes from the Kansas City international raceway I used to take my Oldsmobile with a 403 four barrel out there every Friday night to the fun drags cuz you can pay $10 and burn rubber all night long and never get a ticket since then kcir is no longer open due to some ignorant neighbors who decided to purchase land right close to the drag strip and then complain because it was too loud even though the good people that run that drag strip never violated the 10:00 noise ordinance always had it shut down and everybody out by 10:00 at night now that's some pretty Petty hoo ha there the drag strip was there long before those people ever bought that property and it's just not right that they ran them out like that not to mention a eliminated the only place that the kids could go to drag race and not get in trouble that's just sad
There are some gassers here. But tubbed out, weld wheel equipped cars are NOT gassers. Neither are Ford Pintos and 69 Mustangs. Gasser racing was dead by then. Unless the term Gasser is being used as a description of more modern cars.
The term " gasser" just means they ran on gasoline instead of methanol or nitro methane but you're right it looks like they are jacking anything up putting a beam axle under it and calling it a gasser all big fun though
a lot of these old cars look like cartoon wacky racers with Dick Dastardly and Muttley behind the wheel @6:05 is an example. realy cool car. The back looks somewhat like the old swedish Volvo, but what make / model is it? Notice the wheeliebar, even got air tires on it?
Gassers Forever !!!
Your Texas Dept. of Education phrase of the day: Family orienated

Holy skid marks Batman, not another 1/8 mile track. POOP !
Great action and camera work - thanks for showing the times.
Love the gasser, love you guys running, here in UK we only got one full time strip ☹️
When are they going to come to Virginia
Building model cars where it can start
Thanks for posting this good camera work
Poor sound
I have seen a Green 69 Valiant on your track March 16, 2019. I would like to get in touch with the owner of that car, please.
Do they still consider 1/8 mile tracks a good sense of racing times? I’d rather see 1/4 mile races..
Really
Love the gassers .

Kind of ironic that the thing come to mind, my mind at least is the candy apple red Maalco Gasser '69 Mach 1 fastback of Ohio George Montgomery.
