    Homemade Teriyaki Sauce Recipe
    Ingredients:
    1 cup shoyu amzn.to/2QglpWo
    2/3 cup mirin amzn.to/2CRcqI4
    2/3 cup sake
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    Directions:
    Set a pot over medium-high heat.
    Add shoyu, mirin, sake, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
    Heat until sugar dissolves and sauce just begins to thicken, about 15-20 minutes.
    Remove from heat and allow to cool before pouring into your storage container of choice. ENJOY!

    Do I add the garlic and/or ginger before boiling down? Also how long does this last in the fridge?

      You can add ginger or garlic when you cook. Just toss it in with the meat or whatever your making along with the sauce. It'll keep in the fridge for a few months if no aromatics have been added.

    Oh... I'm going to try brown sugar too and perhaps throw in pineapples. Love this recipe 😋!
