@@goku546686 I have no idea, the weapon description just say that: "Ion Pulse armaments use magnetic acceleration to launch ionised shards of super-heated plasma. As with most Boron armaments, such projectiles are more effective in depleting shields than damaging hulls of unshielded targets. Nevertheless, this weapon system, developed by Eleius Astrosecurity, excels at its intended purpose of intercepting fighters. As such Ion Pulse Turrets and Railguns are widely used on Boron military ships, and are known to clear a safe passage through enemy formations."
@@ragnos28 Just found this video. But i do like that initial shock to the ships when hit. I bet it's not suppose to happen.... And to be honest if i was on the receiving end i'd get frustrated fast. lol
For me the beta is still a beta, ship dance, autopilot does strange stuff, „fly to” is not precise and the boost is too op. However the changes are quite fun and introduce different playstyles and punish less for yolo actions
As long as I will still have viable means to perform fleet battles using AI controlled assets. That is why I wait for Beta 3, when the "freezing" of ships is supposed to be fixed.
@ i see that many xenon ships while being attacked by boron weaponry start to spin crazily and technically they freeze so maybe it is coherent with oos
@@Miszkaaaaa I don't think that behavior translate in OOS. And about the spinning effect...unfortunately, the devs caught wind of it and will most likely remove it. 🙁 Its a shame, I really wanted fishies supremacy.😋
Depends what you are looking for. If you look for pretty visuals, X4 is not it. X4 is a very niche space sim. Were I think it excels, compared to other games in the genre, is fleet combat, carrier based fleet combat to be exact. Commanding hundreds of ships, and being able to zoom to the point that you get to see the pilot in the cockpit of one of them. In short, if this is something that you would want to experience: ruclips.net/video/v7lGbYcB4gg/видео.html , then go for it. If not, other space sims would more suited for your taste.
?? It's not star citizen by any means but it's still graphically amazing for a space game. You must not play many space games if this doesn't clear your standards since the majority look much worse than x4 does now.
Top quality and good delivery as usual. Egosoft delivers. It has the vibe and theme of a classical space game.
Excellent work.
Beautiful game, thanks for sharing!
funny snipe gun is always fun
I like the spinning effect it has on targets, don't know if it was there before or is something from beta.🤔
@@ragnos28 no idea but i know they have some sort of slow effect
@ragnos28 is it me or the 2nd to last shot disable the kaak ship? It went spiraling out of control for a little.

@ they will remove it? It was sooo cool that I could stun most of the ships… fish supremacy forever
I would really like to play the game but the game engine looks like it was released in 2004 and i just can't bare to look at it...
