    Yeah...I have no idea how the frozen fighters made it through internal testing. I submitted a bug report, so hopefully it'll get fixed.

      And fighters also get stuck when being ordered to dock, move to position? ok...dock? nope: ruclips.net/video/D5BSMRp2Nfw/видео.html. Also submited a bug report, recieve a report number, so I guess they are working on it.

      ​​@@ragnos28to be fair right before tinelines fighters did this for me and would break the carrier ship making it spiral out of control. Instead of docking or sitting f still the fighters though just tubelling through the hull of my carrier will result in a "dock"

      Just been in game, xenon are invading and my fighters get stuck in flight.
      So, my options are either to stay out of the game, so I don't incur losses, or uninstall beta.🤨

    I will be happy if they just add a proper retreat button.. Tried of telling them to go to the station to regroup since we are going to lose the battle or the losses would be too great; they start going to the station until they get hit once and charge back in.. x.x
    Also yes carriers got hit hard during this beta. Hope it gets fixed soon.

    maybe just have the new flight model only for when the player controlls the ship, for immersion

    Have you done a lot of XL and L ship flying or branched out to the M and S classes as well? I am super excited for this beta and potential game play changes it has.

      The boost separated from shields for capitals is a get out of jail free card for when you get hit with graviton turret fire. Is just unfortunate that our destroyers under AI control are not capable of executing such maneuver, and they will still die if they enter graviton turret range.

      Yes, sometimes the small fry don't want to "play" with my Raptor, flak turrets have a short range, so my L beams, with their larger range and instant hit, aggro the hostile fighters, so they come to "play" in the range of my flak. 🤓

    lol this just popped into my youtube sidebar. but an egosoft game that's buggy? that's like calling water wet lol.
    i've tried X4 a few times but each and every time i rapidly run into either immersion or gamebreaking bugs less than an hour in. they're completely incapable of delivering a polished product. it's been this way since X2

      To be fair, it is a beta and with this version they try to change the entire flight model.
      But 7.1 is pretty solid, and about the one thing that still bother me is the performance of destroyers wings/fleets vs capitals, for everything else, I've found in game solutions, that is why my steam say that I have 5.111 hours of vanilla gameplay.🤓

      @@ragnos28 always it runs perfect at 80 fps for me but soon as u get to late game its a slide show. i have a brand new 2000 pound pc and tht struggles late game. they have 2 major issue sin x4, performance and poor AI those 2 things make this amazing game unplayable for many.

      CPU: Intel Core i7 @ 3.20GHz
      GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB DDR5
      RAM: 32 GB Dual-Channel 2666MHz DDR4
      Hard drive SSD Kingston 950 GB
      that are about the recommended spec. Fun fact, I had the steam recommended specs on a screen and the order page for my PC on the other, when choosing the specs, when I bought it. 😋
      and my favorite past time in X4 is to have a Raptor with 98 M flak, launch its 100 Chimera, to deal with 100 or more xenon fighters, in low attention. 😉
      It is true that I've never measured my fps. 😋
