Russia doesn't need to use such outdated weapons, they're already using far more advanced DEW EMF Radiation weapons causing everyone in the west to get cancer in the next few years from underground bunkers in the west, and are preparing their next bio weapon a long side some cyber attacks. Having experience working inside a nuclear plant, I will give this tip. Pick up handy wipes, which are made with polyester threads or other polyester cloth or material. Wipe yourself down with them. Polyester absorbs, energy particles. You do not wet them just wipe yourself with them. Every time I went in and out with my tools, they would wipe my tools down with dry hand wipes, then put my tools inside a particle counter, which look like a microwave if they set off the machine, they would wipe them down again. Then my tools were safe to remove.
that’s called surface contamination. surface contamination is only present when working with tools / on equipment that has been in a radioactive flux. the surface contamination is spread from the materials to the tools when exerting force on materials that have been exposed. think of radioactive rust / dust coming off with a wipe. this will not work if you are exposed to the flux itself (the blast) TLDR; you can’t wipe away radioactivity. you’re just wiping off the radioactive dust and making the tool clean.
@@slvr_srfr I know it doesn't do it all, but it is a cheap/quick first step if you don't have a shower handy. I worked at a plant in winter on a job, and had on a polyester winter cap to keep my head warm. It absorbed enough I had to leave it as contaminated.
I don't have any plans to survive a nuclear war. When the bombs fall I'll just stand outside, crack open a cold one, listen to my favorite song and watch as I'm being pulverized by the beautiful glow of the explosion. I'm only "prepping" for catastrophies, not armageddon.
My city in Northern California is home to one of the major Air Bases on the West Coast. In other words, we are a level one nuclear target. Most Americans will only get about a 25 minute warning. The United States and Russia will each get hit with about 1000 warheads each. Both countries will be turned into firery hellscapes, 150 billion tons of smoke will block out the sun for 7-10 years. If one does have the misfortune of surviving, photosynthesis on earth will stop, no crops, no food. Lets not forget that in just 35 minutes most of humanity will perish, the world hit the rewind button from 2024 back to the Stone Age, no power, no lights, no cars, no modern medicine, no fresh water by turning on the tap, it will be the end of modern civilization. It's human nature to want to survive I appreciate your optimistic spirit Kris but I hope I'm vaporized in an instant. I am just trying to illustrate how mad the idea of nuclear war is. I am angry at how the lives nearly 8 billion people are in the hands of only a few individuals.
I totally agree with you! The best preparation for dealing with a nuclear disaster is to eliminate the possibility of its occurrence. Nothing less and nothing more!
A nuclear strikes indicate that a country has no others mean of retaliation. .its simply an act of cowardice by thinking to wipeout all by pressing a button ..do you think this a real fight..I mean a military power has got no meaning at all..no point of joining the army when there is something or someone capable of destroying you with just a button away.😅
Talk about man made global warming or now “climate change” in 30 mins. The greenies need to be more vocal about stoping nuclear war vs. sea level rise or CO2
There are no shelters in our area that we can find so we will just have to do the best we can at home with what we have. I’m 71 and wife is 72, so if it is our time to meet the Lord, then may it be according to His will.
I know what can we do bigger powers at play here so just pray my man and I'll see ya in heaven... Evil is running this country at this point the everyday Joe's can't do anything to stop this madness
It's not like these conversations are new. We've been having them since the creation of nuclear weapons. They really aren't worth worrying about, because even if you survive an all out war, you likely don't want to be alive to witness the aftermath.
I'm a 57 yr old disabled widow. Im only afraid for my 2 adult children and my 20 yr old grandson. They still have their lives to live. I've lost 2 husbands, raised my children and grandson, and now I just want to live the last of my days out in peace. I don't know how much time I have left with the emphysema, bad liver, diabetes, osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease has attacked every joint in my body even my spine. It has left me with Spinal Stenosis ( narrowing of the spinal canal , resulting in compressed nerve, I also have spondylolisthesis ( collapsed vertebrae which are compressing nerves. I also have peripheral neuropathy in my lower extremities. My days are full of fighting steady severe pain. So, you see, im not really afraid of dying at this point. I've been preparing myself for it and I am so tired of dealing with the debilitating pain.
I mentioned WWIII 4 years ago to coworkers. They looked at me like I had 3 heads and were so concerned that I was notified from management not to scare my fellow workers with such talk. Now it a main focus of concern on social media. God help us to endure what is not far into our future. The information you are sharing was common knowledge in the 1960’s and when I served in the military during the 1970-80’s. That is no longer the norm. The plan is to greatly decrease the world population. Expect it and prepare accordingly.
Bioweapons would be “better” for this end, as it doesn’t contaminate the environment and resources for this supposed Illuminati 😅 nuclear war for the purpose of de-populating the world with the intent of rebuilding after is a goofy idea
Tsk, my comment got deleted or I can’t see it . But what I stated on bioweapons being much better suited for a solution to this type of conspiracy still stands
Good points to remember. We used to get public service messages on TV with a lot of this information during the Cold War, but somehow people decided it was so important anymore. As long as there are nuclear weapons, we all need to know this stuff.
A few points I would pushback on. Fallout radiation follows the 7-10 rule. If fallout peaks in 1 hour, 7 hours later, the radiation is down to 10%. After 7*7 hours or 49 hours, the radiation is down to 1%. After 7x7x7 hours or 2 weeks, it is down to 0.1%. Kris said in the video that 99% reduction takes 2 weeks. The fallout radiation is carried by small particles of debris the size of table salt or fine sand. If that is on your person or on your canned food, simply wipe it off as you would dirt. The fallout does not contaminate the food inside the can. Similarly, if your HVAC system and windows are good enough to keep dust out, then fallout won't get in either. The gamma radiation from particles outside will still get through your walls but the particles themselves won't get in and that gives you protection via distance. The three mainstays of fallout protection are time, distance and shielding. Shielding is a whole different subject, but basically the more mass you have between you and the fallout, the better. You can get a dose reduction of 99% (Protection Factor of 100) with 2 feet of concrete or 3 feet of packed earth. I believe that 29 inches of sand will also give a PF of 100. That is why underground is the best place as it has concrete and packed earth all around. The biggest source of radiation may be from above. For example, in my basement, the closest outside surface would be my front porch. Any fallout on there will radiate through whatever thickness of concrete and dirt are above the roof of my basement which is probably less than 8 inches in thickness. A good source for information is Nuclear War Survival Skills by Cresson Kearny. There are free versions available online.
@@chesslover8829 According to Washington State Dept of Health Fact Sheet 320-056 it is much more. "Depending upon their initial energy, gamma rays can travel tens or hundreds of feet in air.". However, my reference doesn't list how much it is attenuated by that distance. I can't find how much air is needed to attenuate gammas by 50%.
@Metalheaddoc You raise a very good point. My sources say two feet of concrete, three feet of packed earth, or ten feet of air will attenuate gamma radiation from fallout. However, according to the America Nuclear Society (ANS), 13.8 feet of water, 6.6 feet of concrete, or 1.3 feet of lead is needed. Very few structures in America provide that much protection, especially a single family home, even if it has a basement. If the ANS is correct, why even bother to prep. It would be both difficult and expensive to construct a concrete fallout shelter with 6.6-foot walls and ceilings. Therefore, anyone in the fallout path will perish unless they have an elaborate fallout shelter. How depressing.
@chesslover8829 Sadly even the people with adequate shelter probably won’t make it beyond 150 days due to starvation. Or exposure to cold, the temperature on the deck will be below freezing for 18 months.
I recently signed up for a CERT course up here in Northern California. CERT stands for Community Emergency Response Team. I’m excited for my first class this week!
That sounds Awesome. I'm in Southern California and constantly giving tips to neighbors and tenants. I'm thinking of doing a plan ahead or what if meeting. Good luck to you
@@lisalee2885 I definitely think you should do that! Do you have a ham radio? I have a baofeng. They’re inexpensive. I also got my radio operator license online for $40. I’m part of a small community of radio operators. We do weekly check ins, and emergency alert tests. It’s call Cobb Alert Network. Maybe you can see if there’s something similar in your area to join! It’s good to stay connected to like-minded people in your community via radio. 🤗💜💜💜
I walked away from CERT and the Red Cross. If the first lesson is not about preps and making sure your family is secure, re evaluate their charter. If your family is not secure, you won’t be showing up for any volunteer duty.
@@OvcharkaShepherdThis right here. But to be fair, CERT is more of a FEMA PR stunt rather than an important element of the ICS. If your CERT gets activated, you probably live in a town, suburb or small city with limited resources. If you get activated in a major city - SHTF and it’s a desperate attempt for help - a situation that most CERT members aren’t trained for anyway. CERT is a social club with a first aid and teamwork component and don’t assume you’ll become highly trained like some Tom Clancy Division agent 😂
Sadly, we SHOULD be panicking! This video is full of misinformation. DELUSIONAL. There is no surviving a full scale nuke attack! Do your research....I'm sorry, but when or IF it happens, we are talking about THOUSANDS of nuclear bombs being launched. I am reading comments and can't believe people actually think that they can just "wait out" the bad stuff. It's just too much to explain...all i can say is research what happened to the people of Japan when we nuked them....then multiply that by hundreds of thousands worse......the Earth will be ruined and there IS NO "SAFETY" after a nuclear war. I don't think anyone understands that this is NOT like a regular war. There is no hiding from it. Let's just hope we never find out what happens. I'm sorry to be all doom, but it's just the truth. Yes what he says makes sense...in a "NORMAL" war...but not a full scale nuclear war.
Those "what to do" scenarios always assume you're awake and fully aware of your surroundings at the time of the blast. You might as well be asleep or sitting in a toilet at this time and have no chance to react in any way
You'd know. Even if launched from a stealth sub we could detect an Incoming missile with at least 15 minutes notice. Those stealth missiles are tactical nukes that are basically only a threat if you're coastal, if you're inland and not right beside a power station you'll have plenty of time to react.
Thanks Chris for another well find out video and you’re calm voice of reason. I would love to see you make a video fold out kit most of us commute to work. If we have only minutes, I can find a sturdy building. A kit in the trunk of the car would be helpful. I was thinking about one of the 5 gallon bucket with a toilet lid filled with what you need to give yourself a shower, extra bucket, liners, and toiletries. In a second kit in a tote with wheels and a handle. Add food water. Extra clothing, 3M Tyvek suits, gas masks, one of your ammo can faraday cages with lanterns, flashlights, radios, power banks, a folding solar panel, an IFAK, and water filters. You do such a great job on your DIY videos! Thanks again to you and your staff for doing such great videos!
That's what I'm saying who wants to live after one goes off. Evil will be everywhere and who wants to fight for every drank of water and food. No I'm good I'll just check out and go on.
In fact Yellowstone mega explosiosn might be worse than nuclear war (depends to which extent), i see documentary say it would produce years of nuclear winter producing massive starving reducing population by 99%. If all nukes of the world are launched would probably produce same with radiations zones...i just jope if some nukes were to be send it would stop pretty fast because one side lost by prefer back up and surrender or the two sidesdecide stop because they lost too much.
I will say this much; when it comes to missiles heading to America the focus on inaccurate foreign missiles is to ramp up their EMP effects. Other countries know how sensitive our infrastructure is & simply turning off the power effects everything.
An EMP, I think, is the most probable of all nuclear scenarios. An enemy will most likely be focused on exploiting our natural resources, and low level nuclear detonations will render those resources useless.
Hi Kris- Thanks for talking about this difficult subject. We make what Preps in order to holdout in such an environment. However; it may not be possible or even worth it depending on how close to the fallout you’re at. Now in my early 60’s, I still have hope ( Thanks to You & a couple of others on You Tube)- but, I feel my best efforts are to teach younger people the skills I learned & to pass on Hope to them. Thanks again for your kind,& calm words. ☮️&🌱
Lets add rogue superintelligent AI or such AI controlled by a few bad actors and population collapse due to declining birth rates. The birth rate scenario is very similar to the frog and the boiling water analogy which btw isnt really true. A frog will try to jump out when temps get uncomfortable. We cant jump out in a population collapse however.
Good advice. I would note that sealed cans, bottles, mylar pouches, etc. would have contents that would be safe....but you need to ensure the outside is clean too. You might want to cover your garden beds with tented tarps so you have a less polluted area for growing food.
If the nukes start popping off, the only thing you can do is pray. Mainly since no one in their right mind would want to start a nuclear war. That means the person doing so is insane, stupid, or both, and you will have no clue as to their "rational" on targeting. So pray, hug your loved ones, and get ready for the aftermath if you survive the initial. Also, for clarification, you should be praying that the boom is either very close, or very far away. That middle ground will suck.
You are wrong. If NATO goes into Ukraine and then into Russia, Russia knows it will lose. To them, if they are going to be destroyed, so be it. They have said it many many times.
@@MakeYouFeelBetterNow And that makes Russia (and NATO for pushing it) insane AND stupid, so my point stands. I did say that "no one in their right mind" wants to start a nuclear war. That does not include most government bodies.
@@MakeYouFeelBetterNowWhy would NATO need to go into Ukraine? Ukraine isn't a member of NATO. They aren't our responsibility. If anyone starts a nuclear war, it'll be the US. We're the only ones to ever actually use a nuke. Turn off the Main Stream Media. It hasn't served you very well.
@@MakeYouFeelBetterNowYes they have set that policy, but NATO has never won a war and now have depleted their weapons and economy to the point that coupd not win.
@@ryimscaith1593You need to Blame the USA. We are the one building military bases around, we used Ukraine to try and weaken Russia, and We are the one who is broken every treaty every agreement and every nuclear contract with the Russia.
You can prepare for this and you can survive an event. Start today if you haven’t already. If you are ready just double check your preps and maybe rotate your water supplies if you have in the last 6 months. Stay Calm and Prep On!
Exactly. I would rather have preps then to survive and not have preps. Everything we have is what we would eat...no prep kits. Lots of can food, can veggies, can can can 😂 got plastic and tape, candles etc...just do the best we can. Trust God 🙏🤍🙏🤍🙏
@@silencedogood9747 Guess he's waited a while to show me any miracles. I'm a little over half your age, but I've seen enough to know there's no one up there making sure we're okay.
I get that...but honestly a trip to the grocery store or dollar tree will do. Buy all can foods you eat. Hearty can soups, tuna, PBJ, water and pet food. Candles, batteries. If you have gas stove and power goes out just turn your stove top burner on and light it...cook away 👍 Have matches 😂😂
@@lisalee2885 thank you! Going to run tomorrow to the grocery store and buy as much can food as I can afford for surviving 6 months. Would that be enough?
@@sailorman8590 I would buy what you like to eat in can foods. I buy Progresso soups because they are hearty with chicken or beef and veggies in them. I also look online at grocery store ads near me so I can get sale items. Most stores have clearance..those are great. You can also freeze things. I also tell people to go to food pantries and free food distributions. Whatever works for you 👍🙏🤍🙏
If a nuclear war begins, the only thing "to do" is prepare to meet your creator. Because whether sooner or a little later, this life here is finished. For everyone.
All humans and wildlife will cease to exist in north America, northern Asia and Europe becoming a wasteland. South America, Africa and Australia NZ may survive but starve and reduce population. Middle east will starve. Post nuclear will induce anti-civilization warfare, and death may come to those who get caught in it.
I think you hit the nail on the head, when you said, " It will be epic." I know you were only talking about the EMP, but that's a good adjective to describe a nuclear strike.
I will be listening to this video again. Thank you! I'm the only one that seems to be moved by this. I pray that this doesn't happen but being prepared can mean a lot.
This was a very informative video, and while I like to be prepared, as maybe one of those times, it’s just easier to die. You literally have minutes to spare, and depending on where you are, you may just be out of luck. If you’re in the country you’ll probably make do even if there’s a fall out. But if you’re in a major city, it’ll be hard to recognize anything, let alone to survive, unless you’re just lucky and right next to a parking garage or a mall. Scary times.
@@TimothyBunting1988 A movie from the 50's staring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardener called "On The Beach' about a nuclear war was pretty good. Ultimately, all humans died.
Brad and Nate talk about this subject quite regularly.. you get a level of normalcy with it… when Chris starts on the subject it’s time to start listening and taking notice 🫡🫡
Its worth poiting out (at least here in the UK) that faraday bags, radiation detetectors and NBC suits are surprisingly cheap and available. CBRN gas masks less so
If you want a free shelter, I'd recommend watching English/UK urban explorer RUclips channels to find a suitable concrete tomb near you 🙂It's surprising how many there are to choose from.
I grew up on an air force base in the mid 60s to the mid 70s. My mom, rest her soul, always used to say she wanted to be at ground zero. She did not want to live in a world destroyed by nuclear war. She wanted to not even know it was happening.
Very cool. I tend to stay positive and I am doing the best and pray. I do try to offer up tips to others who feel confused on how to even start. Really in one day they could pull a lot together. 🙏🤍🙏
Not you, or any other crazy doomsday prepper are prepared for anything, even if you survive the aftermath. Sure, you can live in a remote area and think you're safe, but that's exactly where the survivors are going.
How so. They'll be destruction all around you. Land will be contaminated, climate will change (no sunlight) no medical care, no transportation, thousands dead in the street.
My understanding is that you are in a high rise that is still standing you should locate to the 10th floor or higher and shelter in hallways away from windows..
8:00 is Really good advice for all of us. No matter what close and lock wondows. Plastic and tape over them and seal around doors and cover A/C. Its best to have preps. Better to survive with preps then Not. Good video
Ah Chris, you freak me out. I always appreciate your willingness to assist others, however. You are an admirable person. Have a great day, and thanks 🎖️
Great channel, been watching for quite some time under a different account. Don't be scared get prepared. Keep up the great work you do. Cheers and God Bless.
I used to work in a chemical plant, in the event of exposure, the safety training protocol was to wash the exposed area with cold water for at least ten minutes, cold water closes the pores and slows absorption. As part of our decontamination process following cleanups after spills or major invasive work on equipment or pipelines we would have to use the safety showers to decontaminate our PPE before doffining and disposal, these showers deluged the user with freezing cold water from a 12 inch diameter shower head covered in quarter inch holes. It made the ice bucket challenge look like a gentle summer rain shower.
I'd advise to cover raised beds with water proof materials to protect from fall out and a supply of liquid fertilisers. Get as many vegetable seeds too.
This guy's out of his mind. There isn't going to be fresh running water after a nuclear blast, no one will get the chance to scrub down, the nearest subway to me is in London, and they will all be packed as people try to shield themselves from the blast, and these places are not fall out proof. I expect to die quickly.
I remember the ‘fallout shelters’ as I was a kid in the 60s. We had one in the elementary school in my neighborhood, and teachers taught us to look for the shelter signs…we got tours of the shelter. Cots piled up, barrels of potable water, boxes of food. At some point (70s? 80s?) the shelters were taken out of use and emptied of supples. Should we reinstate the network of shelters?
Jeez, the EMP is the least of my issues. Surviving a nuclear blast, I rely on my old Military Training. Lay down towards the blast, Prepare for the for the inverse shock wave. After that, have a protective suit, and get home. Your suit needs to be disposable. When you get home, remove suit, and go inside and shower. Fallout is Radioactive Dirt thrown into the air. Know the wind patterns of wind conditions of your area. If you live the opposite of wind conditions, you are safer. if you need to travel into the wind, Good Luck. If you live or work in the blast Zone. . . . Well, Dueling Banjoes are the least o your problems!
I seen 2 sets of those line about a month ago. I took a pic. At 5pm PHX Az suburbs. One set was east and another west. Each looking like a starburst coming from opposite horizons. It was creepy.
After conversing with a soldier friend of ours in the UK, my fiancé and I are not surprised this is happening. Apparently, our friend was being called back into service and by his apprehension in his voice of what has been told to him, it seems we’re likely than not to enter WWIII of some capacity. He reckons it’s only a few months if that. I will say take everything I say with a grain of salt since things can change on the flip of a coin.
This is an incredibly positive outlook - not to take away from the great content etc. I feel that everything will just breakdown and whilst there are things in this video that I would do, I still ask myself, if it will be a world where I would want to survive
Chris, normally your reasoned, dispassionate, logical dissertations are your strength. You are devoid of the hyperbole and hysteria that are the trademark of many preparedness channels, especially those emanating from Canada. However, this subject does not lend itself to your usual lecture style. When I first saw the title, I asked myself “why”? I think perhaps R.E.M. had it right. I’ll prepare for various calamities but when it comes to nuclear war, “…I feel fine”.
Six months to two years of disorder too much for you? Your ancestors spent a billion years clawing their way to the top of the food chain. What a shame they've produced such a soft coward.
My mother was a typical civilian in Italy WWII. They ate their pets first during their starvation. Then people. War is uglier than one could imagine. My mom was 13 when WWII broke out. Grandma got shot and killed in a German sweep. Wrong place at wrong time. A German soldier was killed over the night and they rounded up 10 innocent people and executed them from a public market. That was their penalty.
Yeah, it's a thing. Salt the nuke with certain elements with long half-lives and you'd have to be in a bunker for something like 100 years before the radiation levels fell low enough for people to survive outside for even brief periods.
Those bombs start falling, i'm gonna hold my hands out and try to catch one...prepping to survive the aftermath doesn't sound like a winner...winner of what...?
If you do survive and no preps...OUCH. Remember ya never know where or what area is affected. Maybe your area will be fine or just get fall out. But stores are out of question...just saying. 🙏🤍🙏
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” ~ Psalm 91
QUESTION I am not sure what to do with the vegetables in my garden ? They will be radiated ! You say to plant some sunflowers but is that enought to take out the radiations that are in the earth and permet us to replant again the next year ? Thank you so so mutch for all the work you do to bring us ths real and good informations. Also thanks to all your team 😊❤
Firstly I hope the likelihood of war is very low and you can enjoy your garden as it is for many years to come. However in the event of nuclear war the extent of fallout and radionuclide uptake is impossible to predict, it would need to be measured after the fact. If there were significant contamination then it is my understanding that the topsoil would need to be removed.
After watching the movie Threads about living through nuclear war, I gotta say my will to want to survive that is pretty much zilch. The world will be a hellscape
The sickest part is my Grandma and 9 others each were nailed to pallets and floated from the Rialto bridge in Venice and some were shot and some weren't and floated out to sea to die.
Can't figure out why the German people fell for Hitler. My family on Dad's side saw the trend towards hate & dictatorship, converted to Episcopalian & emigrated well before the war. Now some here are ramping up hatred. Stay Safe & try to Be Kind, y'all. Sooner or later we will all have to answer for our actions- & in-actions! 🍀🙏🇺🇲

Thanks
that’s called surface contamination. surface contamination is only present when working with tools / on equipment that has been in a radioactive flux. the surface contamination is spread from the materials to the tools when exerting force on materials that have been exposed. think of radioactive rust / dust coming off with a wipe.
this will not work if you are exposed to the flux itself (the blast)
TLDR; you can’t wipe away radioactivity. you’re just wiping off the radioactive dust and making the tool clean.
@@slvr_srfrI guess it’s better than not doing anything at all. 🤷🏻♀️
@@slvr_srfr I know it doesn't do it all, but it is a cheap/quick first step if you don't have a shower handy. I worked at a plant in winter on a job, and had on a polyester winter cap to keep my head warm. It absorbed enough I had to leave it as contaminated.
I think it's a Good Tip...I have several packages already 👍

Good points to remember.
We used to get public service messages on TV with a lot of this information during the Cold War, but somehow people decided it was so important anymore.
As long as there are nuclear weapons, we all need to know this stuff.
Ultimately, humans can't survive. You're just prolonging the inevitable.
Ten feet of air will attenuate gamma radiation. That's how far one must be from the walls of their home if no other shielding is present.
EXCELLENT book recommendation
@chesslover8829
Sadly even the people with adequate shelter probably won’t make it beyond 150 days due to starvation. Or exposure to cold, the temperature on the deck will be below freezing for 18 months.

Other countries know how sensitive our infrastructure is & simply turning off the power effects everything.
i wouldnt call "foreign ICBMs" inaccurate ... and when it comes to nuke even 100meter accuracy is good enough to destroy predetermined target.
They can do both
An EMP, I think, is the most probable of all nuclear scenarios. An enemy will most likely be focused on exploiting our natural resources, and low level nuclear detonations will render those resources useless.
Hi Kris- Thanks for talking about this difficult subject. We make what Preps in order to holdout in such an environment. Shower with cold water; hot water speeds up chemical reactions. Heat is a catalyst.
Cots piled up, barrels of potable water, boxes of food. At some point (70s? 80s?) the shelters were taken out of use and emptied of supples. Should we reinstate the network of shelters?
in other words .... we're screwed. >>> Pray and repent for your sins because you will meet your maker real soon
Even a brick building will protect from radiation
This video was so helpful. I cannot emphasize that enough. Thank you. Please do more videos on this subject.
I have had a recurring nightmare since I was a teenager of waking up and looking east (live in Colorado) and seeing dozens of arcing smoke trails.
the question is not how to survive the blast but how, and if you want to , survive the aftermath.
Three signs:
Sign number one: "B"
Sign number two: "OOOOO"
SIGN NUMBER THREE: "mmm"
Plan B is not an option
2025
Bye, bye, bye.
I certianly hope it doesn't happen, but sadly, it is looking more and more likely.
The movie *Threads* is a great watch!
But not to be taken as a documentary.
If you plastic seal yourself in a room for 2 weeks... what will stop you from suffocating?
I seen 2 sets of those line about a month ago. I took a pic. At 5pm PHX Az suburbs. One set was east and another west. Each looking like a starburst coming from opposite horizons. It was creepy.
from tucson az i seem them alot
Fantastic information everyone needs to hear ty.
I learned a couple new things! Thank you Kris.
I will say take everything I say with a grain of salt since things can change on the flip of a coin.
how many more months do you think before something mad escalates? and are you for real when you said that things can change in a matter of a minute?
Much appreciated info...thank you and stay alert
Unless they use cobalt nukes, in which case 20 years worth of food and water in a deep bunker isn't going to be nearly enough.
Wth!?
Yeah, it's a thing. Salt the nuke with certain elements with long half-lives and you'd have to be in a bunker for something like 100 years before the radiation levels fell low enough for people to survive outside for even brief periods.
Thanks CP
Thank you, Kris. Very important info to get out to everyone.
My son and his family lived about 15 miles from Vanderburg Military base. From 2017 to 2020. I was a nervous wreck while they lived there.
First three signs of a nuclear detonation are loud noise, high winds, and extreme heat. Gets bad after that.
City prepping dropping this ? Weird and a bit nerve racking, good luck out there lads.
Thank you for sharing this vital information about nuclear fallout and how to be ready for it.
This is my biggest concern as I have no where near me with a proper shelter
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
~ Psalm 91
It'd be great if there were links to budget friendly gear for this type of scenario.
3 months ASSUMES there will be enough help left to come.
How are you going to shower if the power grid is down?
Gravity feed where I am or residual pressure in the pipes after pumping stations are knocked out. Fill your buckets with drinking water first!
I saw this coming in 2016
True
Psychic or gut feeling?
Listen don't be scared get prepared.
Would have loved if you ended the video saying the “ good news is that I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance 😂”
After watching the movie Threads about living through nuclear war, I gotta say my will to want to survive that is pretty much zilch. The world will be a hellscape
It's wartime propaganda, not a documentary.
Good luck with these ideas
Very insightful video, lets all hope it is not applicable in our lifetimes ✌️
Sadly it will be a reality very soon. Thank God I won’t be here when it happens. HARPAZO
@@OSAS726 it's all speculation, the same scenario that went on during the cold War, I'm not saying it isn't gonna happen but it's not set in stone.
@@alphamoose4385 I could agree with that statement. Anything could happen to change that.
Another interesting and informative video, would it be possible to do a cyber warfare video and how to prepare, greetings from England UK
The sickest part is my Grandma and 9 others each were nailed to pallets and floated from the Rialto bridge in Venice and some were shot and some weren't and floated out to sea to die.
Why?
@@DogBeast221 Germans leader at that time.
That was the penalty for killing a German soldier in occupied country.
Americans don't realize that could happen here. "We know our 'rights '!"
