  • No pressure washer? No worries! You can still get great results from a garden hose foam cannon! In this video I compare both foam cannons side by side. My preference is still the origional pressure washer foam cannon, however you can still get great results for a fraction of the price of an entire pressure washer set up.

Since the whole point of doing this is to loosen the dirt clinging to the paint so you can rinse it off then use a MF cloth/mitt to gently remove the remaining dirt, it would seem the foam produced by the garden hose set would be sufficient. Thanks for the demo.

For years i used the buckets too filled up with car soapy water and used a microfiber car mit or one with a pole whatever ya decide, then rinse . I did it as basically as a summer time career and use people's water and water hose . For a few years i used that viking soap nozzle and it work . Not alot of soap that's why i still used that bucket with it . Everything came out great. Its just whatever you prefer to do . Everyone works differently. Just at home cleaners or detailer..

    Just wondering...
    1. What is your garden hose size (1/2", 5/8", 3/4"), and water pressure from the tap?
    2. Is it possible to use the pressure washer canon with a garden hose (by using an adaptor)?
    3. Also, the difference between the foam outputs for each cannon, might be due to the orifice/hole size and the internal mesh foam maker on the pressure washer cannon.

Hello! I like to use the particular foam cannon on the highest setting to get the most foam, the other person might have had a different foam cannon with different types of settings or they just have a different preference on how much foam they want. In the end, buy a foam cannon and splay with the different settings with different amounts of soap in the container and find out what you like best, there’s really no right or wrong, just more so personal preference. I hope this helps!

And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
