Craft blades and hobby knives are a brilliant way of cutting sellotape without damaging the box. Failing that, scissors are a relatively recent invention that might help. :D

I like the Astra Militarum… but I have no interest in building my own army because the $$$ and time and effort involved in creating a 2000 point army is too daunting. Also, I just got into the Leagues of Votann, so that’s my focus.
The only thing I’m interested in from AM is getting some of their tanks for my Genestealers army.
Regardless, the new AM Cadia army box looks cool. Great unboxing video! Thx

Wait what the genders fight separate now that's news to me it used to be mixed
I’m new to 40k but after looking at all the races forces factions etc. The Imperial Guard are for me. I really want to get a super heavy tank. Should I get a Shadowsword or a Baneblade? Any pointers?
You can build either with the same box, so I'd recommend looking up a guide to magnetize and swap between them. It's not the easiest though.

I really hate theyre trying to force 28mms on some random units. It offers no real advantage over 25's and Im just gonna build them with 25s so they match the rest of my army. Thankfully the sentinels stayed on 60mms

The only beef I have with this box is that it's yet another Cadian box.... Cadia got blasted to smithereens and yet they still release new Cadian models instead of releasing other regiments....
The Cadian kit is the "standard" kit throughout the Imperium. Call them what you want.

It seems like they’ve done what they did with the space marines, becoming incredibly lax with the painting and collecting rules. Which I’m not a fan of, I like my insignias and armour regimented!
