      As an INFP-T alike I don't think life was meant to be difficult for us, I just know that given our outstanding unique ability to, almost shape shift emotionally while being somewhat authentic we, develop a mental consciousness at a supremely early stage of our life, for me it was age 12 at middle school. But the people around us (especially of leadership in a general matter) is hellbent on holding us down due, to their misconstrued notion that we are premature at the same level as the rest I think that is were our burn out starts from, we are actually very social creatures us INFP's our major obstacle is having to compete, especially with all the misconception people fantasize about us, due to our unconventional nature in other to feed the human nature of superiourity complex in them, and have them believe they have us figured out. It's the misconceptions that, hurt me, specifically, and a lack of patience, and conversation to compose the truth.

      I was an INFP-T when younger but as you get older, you learn to use your strengts... And it get better and better! A few key steps (which are also useful in a workplace)
      Learn to say no
      Use your broad knowledge in many topics to be the most interesting person in the room to build up connections with ppl
      Build relationships with the "good" people
      Join brainstorming sessions - this is where you can thrive!
      "Heal" other ppl but not by giving up who you are
      Have at least one creative "output"
      And just keep searching! The world is full of wondere, don't get stuck on negativity...

      Valuing yourself is the hard bit for us.
      But if you have a family member or anyone that sees something special in you, my internal dialogue is:
      This amazing person saw so much potential in me, I will try and strive to reach my fullest potential and make them proud,and prove they were right for believing in me!
      -This usually hypes me up to work harder and really make the better choices that comes from the heart. Once it comes from the heart, everything is easy.

      @@alinamazhar9234 I see a little bit of stress (forcing yourself to do something you don't "feel like doing" but "needs to be done") is a good thing.
      Even if it is something slightly out of your comfort zone. Because once you complete it, you can be proud that you have stepped out of your comfort zone and accomplished something.
      And that "out of the comfort zone" becomes part of your comfort zone. You grow as a person and you obtain skills and knowledge.
      I'm sorry to hear that you don't have motivation. Just remember there are people that care about you more than you think, that believe in you. And if it isn't too much for you, try and grow yourself to your fullest potential step by step.

      "Wrong tests results"
      No, some people aren't relying on tests to figure themselves out. There are professionals who specialize in the functions, or you could investigate yourself.
      Honestly, if you want to figure out what type you are; research the cognitive functions (Jungian's type indicator!)

      But INFPs and INFJs have none of the same cognitive functions. They may act alike but they have entirely different thought processes. For example INFPs are way less aware about the line between peer and good friend, they absorb more information without actually fully computing it, and they don’t really take control often even when they think they should. INFJs will take in less info but will take it all into account when making a decision, they will have many casual friends and know the exact ranking of their friend groups, and they are fine with taking control and never want to give it up. Also unhealthy INFPs will usually subscribe to the strategy of a pick-me victim while unhealthy INFJs will subscribe to the strategy of narcissistic gaslighter.
      All in all INFJs are more socially competent and decisive while INFPs are more open ended when it comes to relationships and choices. INFPs are a choose your own adventure in the moment while INFJs are a let’s plan the next year or so ahead. That’s what I’ve seen at least.

    • @eluvi1583
      @eluvi1583 21 час назад

      @@flobelacqua8460 Not true. Your cognitive functions don't change as you grow.

    A ver, hay mucha gente que no se identifica con todo, y eso es normal, yo también soy INFP, pero eso no significa que seré igual que a otros INFP, ni que encajaré a la perfección en el estereotipo, el MBTI por lo que he investigado no es 100% exacto, y se basa más en las elecciones que haces, prefieres ser más emocional o más pensativo la mayoría del tiempo? Eres más intuitivo o más sensorial? Son esa clase de cosas las que te definen dentro de un tipo, pero es más como un espectro que algo concreto, así que si, está bien que no te identifiques con todo, porque todos tenemos nuestra propia forma de ser y de pensar, así seamos muy similares a otros de nuestro mismo tipo, por eso no todos son muy adaptables, o no todos los INFP necesariamente crean algo, a veces son mejores analizando y disfrutando de la profundidad de las cosas, a veces son más sociables y no tan tímidos a pesar de ser introvertidos, y hay veces que son mejores o peores escuchando.

The first mistake people make is saying they are bad at math, everything that happens next is just a byproduct of that being used as an excuse.

    I often wonder, as I once did for the enneagram, if I watched videos, of each and every type, would I not, honestly, find something that resonated with me? Or because my mind works in the way it does, I could always call upon some instance or event or happenstance where I could say, ‘yes, I identify with that personality’
    That all said, what if personality tests like this are only for stupid people, that don’t know how to see through it, and then identify themselves as ‘this’ or ‘that’s depending on what seems good to them?

    • @randianyp2838
      @randianyp2838 8 месяцев назад

      I also thought of this before,what if we are being manipulated into acting this way ,by constantly feeding us things that trigger us,they then shut down these thoughts that we have by saying
      " 'this type' likes to over think" to make us feel we are overthinking something and forcefully shutdown😢

    • @jhemp
      @jhemp Месяц назад +1

      It could be that only stupid people believe personality types exist or perhaps it could be that people without sufficient self awareness struggle to draw parallels in the data. I, myself, and skeptical of personality types, however I am also able to express appreciation for the concepts the research has presented and have witnessed value in first hand experiences in it's application.
