@@vj.joseph It's interesting, I read that some INFP's actually become INFJ's in older age, as they mature, especially if they are inclined toward the spiritual.
But INFPs and INFJs have none of the same cognitive functions. They may act alike but they have entirely different thought processes. For example INFPs are way less aware about the line between peer and good friend, they absorb more information without actually fully computing it, and they don’t really take control often even when they think they should. INFJs will take in less info but will take it all into account when making a decision, they will have many casual friends and know the exact ranking of their friend groups, and they are fine with taking control and never want to give it up. Also unhealthy INFPs will usually subscribe to the strategy of a pick-me victim while unhealthy INFJs will subscribe to the strategy of narcissistic gaslighter. All in all INFJs are more socially competent and decisive while INFPs are more open ended when it comes to relationships and choices. INFPs are a choose your own adventure in the moment while INFJs are a let’s plan the next year or so ahead. That’s what I’ve seen at least.

It's never too late. Math isn't hard you were likely just taught it poorly. It's just a system of rules and basic functions. All you need to master it is to be willing and believe it's possible. The first mistake people make is saying they are bad at math, everything that happens next is just a byproduct of that being used as an excuse.

I often wonder, as I once did for the enneagram, if I watched videos, of each and every type, would I not, honestly, find something that resonated with me? Or because my mind works in the way it does, I could always call upon some instance or event or happenstance where I could say, ‘yes, I identify with that personality’ That all said, what if personality tests like this are only for stupid people, that don’t know how to see through it, and then identify themselves as ‘this’ or ‘that’s depending on what seems good to them?
I also thought of this before, what if we are being manipulated into acting this way ,by constantly feeding us things that trigger us,they then shut down these thoughts that we have by saying " 'this type' likes to over think" to make us feel we are overthinking something and forcefully shutdown😢
It could be that only stupid people believe personality types exist or perhaps it could be that people without sufficient self awareness struggle to draw parallels in the data. I, myself, and skeptical of personality types, however I am also able to express appreciation for the concepts the research has presented and have witnessed value in first hand experiences in it's application.
Of all the MBTI types, the INFP seems to be the most self loathing of all. Why do you hate yourselves so much? Lowest income type. Highest likelihood of suicide. Why?
What that person said, but also the depth of emotional connection. We can see everything through the lens of *feel* and it's often overwhelming. Lets be honest, there's a lot of pain and sorrow in the world, as well as beauty; as those who wish to build bridges with others and heal the pain, but recognizing that we CANT POSSIBLY .... it's just a recipe for concentrated grief.
Unfortunately, due to being an idealist, they project such high standard on themselves… which can take a huge toll on their mental capacity, worried if they’ve done things right, if they’ve been the best version they believe in they should be…and when they realise they can’t meet that expectation, they face huge disappointment with themselves, and their belief and value system gets challenged.
