Sergio Perez's new deal means Red Bull has passed over Carlos Sainz, leaving him to consider midfield alternatives for his post-Ferrari career - with a decision expected to be made soon. But has it already been leaked where Sainz' future lays?
Since learning that he would lose his Ferrari seat to Lewis Hamilton at the end of 2024, Sainz has been waiting to see whether the wild driver market would shift in his favour, particularly at Red Bull, given reports of a probable Max Verstappen exit and a recent drop in Perez's form.

It wasn’t down to Hamilton. Ferrari have been desperate to get Hamilton for several years to help mentor the team back to championship winning ways. Hamilton has been resisting them for some time because of his loyalty to Mercedes and good friend Toto. However this year they finally made an offer Hamilton was just unable to refuse, and Sainz’s contract was due to expire. I am a staunch Sainz fan myself and initially expected him to go straight to Mercedes, but something has changed that, but I don’t know what….
I will never get used with Sainz in a Williams.

Dumping Sainz for Hamilton was a bonehead move for Ferrari. Hamilton is still in good physical shape, but he's getting old by F1 standards. Hamilton was quite public about how Mercedes ignored his advice against pursuing the zero sidepod design, which may have permanently dulled his edge. Can Ferrari sharpen him up again? At his age, it's a gamble.
Perez is a good racer and doesn't really challenge Verstappen where is the likes of Sainz would challenge Verstappen Red Bull don't want that.
Sainz should go to Audi. He can make real impact in a new team that will be looking to make huge strides in performance. They need a driver that has experience in top level cars.

going to Williams is not a bad move ,he already drive for a top team, he just need to get a racing seat he will be fine and racing hard ,the door will open again,,and I think it will be Mercedes,...KIMI and CARLOS FUTURE MERCEDES TEAM MATE..
