Behind his often jovial facade is a killer, this guy is extremely cerebral! I believe he has what it takes to bring scuderia Ferrari to the very top of Motorsport
Same here…I’m a McLaren/Williams fan but I’m someone who hates Ferrari (not the people who work for the team or the factory I hasten to add, just the brand) but I actually miss not seeing them fighting at the front for wins…this year and hopefully the years to come mean we as fans get to see Ferrari back at the front fighting with all the other front runners. Interestingly they won in Monaco and just won Le Mans so clearly in motorsport they having a long awaited resurgence.
Great leader ! haven't had this much confidence in Ferrari since the Arrivabene days(who was wrongfully sacked) Fred has made a huge impact in just one and a half year , Ferrari have drastically improved operationally under him and make less mistake , can't imagine what Ferrari will look like under him after 2 , 3 years cause it's looking good so far
I see Fred....I see Lollypop man 😂. All jokes aside, it might be a good thing that he doesn't speak Italian fluently because sometimes it's better to not know what the Italian press is all about. Helpt Jean Todt , surely it will help Fred.
The only other non-Italian to run Ferrari? Another Frenchman, Jean Todt. He didn't do too badly, did he? Vasseur has the resources he needs at Ferrari; it's keeping upper management interference out, and getting convincing the team that they can do the job that is what ultimately takes down Scuderia heads

Always wanted to see an interview with this guy - he comes across as stern leader yet with a great sense of humor. Seems like a great combo to me
Fred is the kind of boss you want to have! Whether or not he gets championships with Ferrari I'm sure he'll have a good run.
always liked vasseur because of his jolly and fun nature. as a RB fan im really happy for him and ferrari as they are being competitive again.

He made some good changes, but I'm confuser why these completely drunk race engineers weren't replace on day 1.
Man i miss James Allen commentary... what a voice, what a man.. Thank for the memories James
Thanks James, great interview and so pleased Fred gave his time, a truly genuine and gracious individual.
The last French dude in charge at Ferrari did an amazing job so I’m hoping there’s correlation go Fred!
J'adore la simplicité et l'humour de Fred.

great interview!
I'm interested to see how Ferrari under Vasseur and Lewis will perform together next year.
If Fred needs to improve his Italian to have better relationship with the mechanics, imagine what Lewis would need to do to prepare for next year.
I think Raikkonen didnt bother to speak Italian at all but he was the last champion with Ferrari
@@RobertoHa-rt3gi Well Kimi is Kimi...he gets to do his own thing

If Ferrari wants to win they have to get rid of the italians. 🤷🏻♂️
Is Fred a genius?
Fred is definetly NOT the second non italian to lead Ferrari in F1. Todt, Binotto and Brawn to immediatly come to mind
Binotto is Italian and Ross was Technical Director not Team Principal
@@AutosportOfficial ok i wasn't entirely sure about Ross but Binotto is swiss, no?
Swiss born - but his nationality is Italian!
This is the voice of a man in control.
