A well cared for older vehicle says more about the owner than a new vehicle. Your orange Jeep has become iconic and I’m sure your 72,000 subscribers would agree. This is certainly one of your most enjoyable videos. We went through your area a few weeks ago and found the desert fascinating. Your photography is exceptional. Much thanks for this Chris.👌
Your every day guy mentality "this isn't sponsored, not an influencer thing." lol Its why we love your content, Chris. I was going to hit you up for your take on the AEV suspension lift as I have used Bilsteins on multiple Jeeps and trucks and have loved them, but given that you covered this here... it made up my mind. That I'll be having OK4WD do the install is literally a no brainer as I live in the area and they are a fantastic resource and shop full of great people.
This feels like home again. Thank you for your Jeep, and the no-soundtrack, no-schilling invitation to tag along. I’ve been following since 2019, and this reminds me why.
Love the classic Chris videos. You're an inspiration for me to get out and explore. Been watching since 2017 when I got my own Rubicon. The honesty you bring is so refreshing and a joy to watch. Keep up the great work.
This video is exactly what I have been wanting to see for a long time! What a great return! It is wonderful to see and hear about orangie being revitalized! Beautiful scenery!
I just have upgraded to the Bilstein 6112's on my truck from the 5100's. I had the 5100's for close to eight years and they were great. A new steel front bumper and a 10K lb winch though sealed their fate.
Just a man and his horse ’n home out exploring wilderness areas. My kind of content! Epic scenery and video editing. I will watch this a few times (or more than that!). In some scenes I was right there with you. Wish I could do this sort of stuff again, and memories of it are fading. This helps, though, even though the type of terrain is quite different. Please keep it up and bring back the good o’ days-yours and mine.
Yeah it's good you're back out in the road. Just like the good old days when you started off your roaming around by yourself. The only thing difference is you don't have no red kayak on the roof. Other than that, good stuff. Beautiful country. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
No grilled cheese? WTF Chris? So much for 'back to old school'.... Just kidding. Loved seeing Orangie back on the trail. Great episode. Look forward to (hopefully) many more of them.
Good to see you back out, Organ Pipe is one of my favorites and we go many times a year for the big loop and have since headed down to include El Camino Diablo. If you're ever up in AJ and need anything we're just across from Goldfield Ghost Town..
We love your videos - both the style of them and the experiences you share. We had no idea the desert could be so green! Your videos have really motivated us to get out and explore more now, instead of waiting until we retire. I think we have the same coffee grinder and have used a drill with it too, lol! Nice to hear a little more detail about your background also. Thanks so much for the work you do to share your travels and inspire others.
I remember when you has Just joined OK. You took the fall on the CHEEZE-Grater hil at paragon (named by me cause it chewed up Cheezit !) Lynn (TealJ) took you to the hospital and I got youout that night. that was the winter of 1998
Orangie is definitely due for a suspension refresh. Putting 120K of the kind of miles you drive is saying something for Bilstein shocks. I have 5100's on my 4Runner and they ride beautifully. Keep on wheelin'!
Hey Chris - jumped on to comment and read what I was already thinking in post after post. Vintage @venture4wd style. As always, great work and thanks for posting your work 👍🏻👍🏻
Chris, nice to see you out exploring in the jeep again! I was curious what table you are using in the video? It looks nice and study with plenty of space. I’ve tried like 3 different ones now and none of them seemed very stable
I'm 63 years old. It's a pain in my ass gatting in & out of a Jeep with a 4 inch lift! It's that fucken 6 inch lip, I gotta get my foot over, the lip to keep the water out! It's 16 Mar 2024 at 6:54 AM. 42 degrees. I'd of froze my ass of in a tent. Who em I kidding, I can't get up off the ground anymore! Well I hope ya had fun! Keep having fun while you can still get up off the ground! Ops should of watched more of the video. Roof tent. Oh boy, a ladder. Getten old sucks. So where do you take a shit?
I know you will miss the van, but I absolutely love seeing the jeep back on the trail.
Orangie and hamburgers!!!!! Classic venture4wd is back!!!!!!!!!! So happy!
Yes
The simple things in life..
All is good.
I remember the days of Orangie and Spaghetti Then Orangie and Pizza! ,
Ricky and Phil Collins approved
The absence of background music makes this episode so much more appealing.

I’m digging seeing the orange Jeep back in action.

So nice to see a refreshed venture4wd. This is what I love about this channel and the content. The Jeep and you. Simple and wonderful experiences.
Great to see Orangie getting a new lease on life!
Yes . . . this episode seems you are getting back to your roots with the channel. Nice job, Chris!
This is the kind of video we’re here for
Love seeing you get back to your roots. I am sure Orangie is enjoying the attention and anticipating returning to true form.
The Legend returns! It was fantastic to see the man and machine that inspired me to start exploring offroad back at it ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
3:17 That's referred to as ustabees. Also love that you figured out the drill hack for grinding coffee. 🤣
😂😅😊

Nothing like a double cheeseburger ASMR session in the middle of a overlanding video.
This video is exactly what I have been wanting to see for a long time! What a great return! It is wonderful to see and hear about orangie being revitalized! Beautiful scenery!

Great video Chris! It’s great to see Orangie out and about.👍🏼
Thanks for stating the load range of your tires! So many folks don't specify that in their reviews.
Thank you for sharing.
I enjoy watching you and your jeep on the trails.
Great video - wonderful start to the weekend! Nice to see Orangie back out on the road and in such beautiful surroundings!
Great seeing the Jeep out there. Welcome back!
Great to see you back in Orangie! This is what I signed up for.
Right on Chris. Classic Venture4WD I say. Loved it.

Good to see you back in your Orangie and traveling! Missed it a lot.
Lovely Chris. Really like the return to the trad V4WD
Like many others it’s good to see that at orange Jeep back on the trail
Oh the coffee grinder! lol
I’ve never seen the hot logic for heating up food. Interesting.
I miss these videos. Thank you!
No grilled cheese? WTF Chris? So much for 'back to old school'....
Just kidding. Loved seeing Orangie back on the trail. Great episode. Look forward to (hopefully) many more of them.
I'm gonna miss the van too but Great to see the jeep again
I’m so glad y’all settled down in Arizona! You do it justice!
In the middle of everywhere. A happy place.
Drill on coffee grinder? 🤯 genius!
Orangie, a new set of KO2s, and burgers. What else could you possibly need?
Using the drill to grind the coffee, spoiled the moment of grinding the beans slowly by hand
Great to see you back exploring
Maybe, but it is fun!😎
Happy to see you back in the Jeep and exploring AZ. Cheers!

Great episode. Love the Jeep. Glad to see it

I fell in love with it too ❤❤❤
Factor is legit. Great video as always. Cannot believe you're not over 500k subs.
And new KO2s... Basically drooling 🫠
Great video! Keep them coming
Love the "drilled" coffee!
Hey Orangie 👏🏻
The spirit of adventure is alive in this one! Greetings from South Africa 🤙🏻
Greetings!
Hope to see you and Shannon at Overland West in Flagstaff in May. Tom
Great views for the night Chris! Only thing this video was missing was a slightly overdone grilled cheese; the cheese burger was a nice touch.
Yaaa the Jeep is back!!!
Excellent video!
Orangie. Just a happy color 🍊 !
Love the power drill.....Cheers......Steve
Nice to see you go back to your roots Chris. I'm sure its a bit bitter-sweet.

Back at it..
Good to see out there Chris.
Hey Chris, great to see you out in the JKUR. No grilled cheese sandwich this time? 🎉
Love the video s love no music , love not too much drone video too
That was pretty epic Chris! I will be in Ajo on Monday and you've given me a teaser of how it might look once there. Happy trails!
It's SO green this time of the year. Looks amazing. I dig that table, is that new? Metal, so it can have a cool stove on it... Like that.
Great video - more like this!
Hi Chris! Thanks for another great adventure! Go Orangie! P.S. that was a huge burger!
CLASSIC !
Hey Chris - jumped on to comment and read what I was already thinking in post after post. Vintage @venture4wd style. As always, great work and thanks for posting your work 👍🏻👍🏻
Front passenger marker light is out.😮 LOL Thanks for the great videos, Frank
Hope you hit California to shoot the expected epic wildflower bloom in the deserts there this year. Great vid this week. Best, Bill

Dubocheebugie nice , royobi coffee grind 😎🍻
Cool buddy ! you should do sizzling fajitas the dish and desert are one 🤤
8:20 Brilliant!!
😉
Great video... as always! :)
You should lead a week long patreon pay to participate outing through this area! I'd come down from Oregon for that!
Is it too early to say comeback? Great video
The desert is the best
What, no toasted cheese sandwich, is the world about to end?
😊
AWESOME! Orangie is back. I see you registered it in AZ as the Texas plate was missing lol. Have a super blessed week.
Chris, nice to see you out exploring in the jeep again! I was curious what table you are using in the video? It looks nice and study with plenty of space. I’ve tried like 3 different ones now and none of them seemed very stable
I’m sorry I don’t recall the make/model. I did get it at REI in Santa Fe in maybe 2019 or 2020? Sorry I wish I could be of more help.
snakes, spiders. seems safe. lets go.
i bet the click you have been hearing is that left front spring
I am so over watching Travelers make their coffee, and then.... you pull out the drill! Love it!
👍
I ducked when the cholla went by the window at 4:30 😬
They just JUMP out at you! 🤣
Is there any place in the continental US and Canada that this Jeep has not been?? Once it finally dies (if ever), it belongs in the Smithsonian.
Are those new tires on stock rims?
Indeed
😂😂😂😂 great flex lol.... 😂
Great Vid as always. What hat are you wearing?
When will this track be uploaded to the site for subscribers?
It’s there now!

Haha I understand!
To answer your question - dig a hole somewhere away from campsites, roads and water 😀
What happened to your girlfriend? Did I miss something?
couple days late looking at time one, like all the others with the jeep, awesome video. Love the hamburger, looked so good.
