This is the most insane brake content I’ve ever seen, thank you Hunter Hofmann
I know right? Thanks buddy
Great video again by the Hunter! Super DYI content for the F87 💪🏻👊🏻🔥

Awesome video and great vibes straight to the point no fukin around love it mate
Thank you my man, appreciate that
awesome video! I always look forward to the intro it really cracks me up. it's funny it is exactly what I was looking for this week get some dot4 and steel lines to improve the brake feel (in my opinion the weakest thing on my m2)
Sorry haven't even replied! Have you installed the steel lines yet in the meantime?
These videos are hilarious and informative. This channel will def take off hah!
Appreciate it man! Will definitely be trying
Awesome content but that dent in rear panel! Nooooooo
Thank you buddy! Yeah somebody backed into my car, insurance will get it covered though, just looking around for the best body shop at the moment!
This is a great guide thanks! It's about the same as on a MINI JCW, except the fluid reservoir is on the right in the UK! If that helps anyone :-)
Appreciate it mate
Looks very... good! Good choice on the Motul brand, but why not the 660?
From what i can see the RBF660 has a slightly higher dry boiling point than the RBF600, but a lower wet boiling point. This means it will work at a slightly higher tempreature than the RBF600 when first fitted, but once it’s been used a while and started to absorb moisture it will actually boil at a lower temp, so if you change the fluid regularly and push the brakes very hard the RBF660 might be better, but as I won’t track my car and not planning to flush my fluid every couple of months, the RBF600 seems good enough for me
Man working on the cleanest most rust free car saying it's stuck 🤣 if you don't have to heat up your brake lines with an oxy acetylene torch it ain't stuck
You are right haha. I’m a spoiled man Michael!
hey thanks for the video! Don't you need to instruct the ABS pump to work via a scanner to also drive out air from the ABS system?
Thanks man. Good question, but I believe that all air was removed like so, with the external bleeder. Maybe the official method with ISTA tells you to also have the ABS pump bleed air, but I didn’t have access to ISTA back then (I do now). Still today though, the brake pedal still feels very hard and firm!
As he says, you don't really need to, but if you've got ISTA and the time it's not a bad extra step to do. It made a positive difference to the pedal feel on mine.
Weer een video voor iets uit te leren .waar heb je dat reservoir gehaald met druk op en de dop voor op reservoir te draaien ? Lijkt mij goed spul! Bedankt voor de video man altijd interessant
Thanks maat! Dat apparaat is van HBM : www.hbm-machines.com/producten/acties/hbm-handmatige-koppeling-en-remontluchter?gclid=CjwKCAjwiY6MBhBqEiwARFSCPrya6JUbBbif84Xmh38e-OY3AYnABxIJ8yG9oiCQ2mqxu1oQ9hDeKBoCuEIQAvD_BwE
Is there no need to fill of the reservoir after removing old fluid? Or just filling the pressure tank?
As I said in the video, keep some to possibly top it up at the end. Mine was already halfway full (between MIN and MAX) when I was done and after using the brakes a few times. I did pour in the rest anyway afterwards to top it up, just under MAX.
Hey buddy , i love your car ! I will sell my z4 next year for the M2. Woud you say the suspension is to hard for comfort driving ,
or to soft for sporty driving ?
Thank you man. Well my car is equipped with the M Performance suspension, so I don’t know about stock suspension to be honest. My suspension is definitely firm and good for sporty driving, but I wouldn’t say it’s too hard for comfort driving, just takes a bit more effort. You’ll love the M2 mate.
Huntert! Just food for tough! 😊
Hm interessant, dank maat!
Thank you so much for this, Hofman. I'm going to do this on Thursday. Is it true it needs programming from BMW to bleed brake fluid? Would be so stupid if that was the case...
Anytime, man! No programming is necessary with this operation, good luck!
@@TheHunterHofman thanks again boss!
I can’t seem to take out the red cap inside the reservoir?
Although it was a long time ago, I remember that it was a bit hard to get out. I just pulled it out with some force. Be mindful to not damage the filter screen.
Hi! I’ve bought an m2 lci and i’m thinking of mounting steel brake lines. Are steel brake lines a real improvement on the stop performance of the Car? Do you racommend doing it?
Yes, I do. It makes the brakes feel a bit more firm and ‘bitey’. I love them.
@@TheHunterHofman thanks
Hej houd deze goed zijn lucht de bleeder want bij velen lost de lucht en dan ben je er niet veel mee .
Absoluut, heb hem ook al op de Mini gebruikt, top ding vind ik het
HAHAHAHA 🤣 idk if you can see that I am one of the first subscribers. As usual great content and getting funnier too! Congrats 👏🏻
Haha appreciate that buddy!
What happened to the clicking noise
It’s still there, I have some other content coming up first before taking on the challenge again. I do have some new info that might fix it though
