Just found your channel, I'll try out these tips. I will attempt for Topik in 60 days, so I hoping to get 4 or 5 level. Any tips for like, preparing mentally for the test?
Hmm good question - I would say be aware that there will be plenty of words that you don't know or just forget in the spur of the moment, and even full questions that you get lost on. This is fine, and you should just calmly move past them and on to the next thing. Even when I was going for level 6 I still had plenty of times during the test where I was a bit lost. Apart from yhat, just trust your instincts - they aren't really trying to include trick questions or anything, they just want you to show what you know. Good luck and if you have any more questions feel free to let me know
Thank you for useful information ~ I have a question How can I increase my reading speed? I can understand what that are talking about but it’s hard to listen and read at the same time ? Especially from 30~50 questions
This is a great question, and even now I still struggle with reading speed. The main thing is just read a lot - the more times you see certain words, the faster your brain will identify them. Another thing is to train yourself to distinguish the word and the particle or ending (e.g., if I see a word like 처음부터, I should automatically see 처음 + 부터). Identifying and distinguishing these endings quickly will help you focus on the actualy piece of vocabulary. Hope this helps!
Hi, can you make a video about that how can we get high grades on the Topik exam? For instance, in April we have a topik exam, until that time which plan do you prefer or how many hours are enough to take 4급. I took Topik 2급 last year and I don’t think I can take level 3 now. What do you advise to me
Hi! Have a look at my video explaining the full Topik test, and the other 2 videos about the specific sections - I give some tips for each section and for the test in general. The best thing you can do to get better at Topik are to read and listen to as much Korean as possible, taking time to mark down and look up new words. Also try to identify which section is your weak point and focus on improving that skill as much as possible. As for hours required, it's very hard to put an exact number, but the more the better! Studying every day is more important than the number of hours, so maybe start off with 30 mins per day and try to build up from there to 1 hour or 2. Hope this helps and good luck with your test!
Большое спасибо, Иуан!
Ничего!
